The only one time that I did try out the F45 was last November in Honolulu. This trip I decided to break tradition since there was a F45 very close to my mom's place. I anticipated the guest fee but was pleasantly surprised when Neal informed me that at their studio they provide 1/2 price special so I decided to take two classes! It was all worth it too. The studio is conveniently located with ample public parking, very safe neighborhood, clean and bright. Equipment in great condition, they had towels rolled up at front and available for members/guests. My coach for the two days was Coach Missy and she was so wonderful, welcoming and made me feel so comfortable as a guest. She was great at pushing and providing coaching on posture etc. throughout the workout. Playlist was great as well. Neal made the entire process of working out as a guest so convenient and easy. Coach Missy made the experience at the studio so welcoming and fun. I had a great time and will definitely make it a new thing for me to re-visit and be a guest at F45 Reston Town Center. Highly recommend if you haven't tried F45 - I'm a huge fan and it has been a life changer. Great community to be part of and new friendships as well.

The basketball court was completely removed, which I was highly looking forward to using after getting my membership. Turns out it was replaced with a pickleball court. The thing that bothers me is the fact that half of the basketball court area was already a pickleball court, and they probably only replaced everything to make more money off pickleball lessons and stuff. 2. Things haven't been changing in a positive way. Like I said before, the basketball court was removed purely as an extension of the already existing pickleball court. Also, some of the gym equipment is pretty outdated and not getting fixed. Furthermore, the staff really don't care about members and just completely listen to the people who are ruining the experience for others, and getting people kicked out of a spot they were already in. The staff also tend to listen to the older person without understanding whats really going on. 3. Most of the Life Time membership is really just giving you access to more purchases instead of owning up to their slogan, "Healthier way of life." The whole Life Time experience really just seems to be a cash grab instead of what it promises.

I truly hope the members are not paying the same price as we do in Clinton. It feels like it was an old gym that OneLife came and bought. I went midday and it was not crowded. They have all of the machines you would need but about half of the machines look like they were from the 90s. I would come again but I think with many other gyms close by, I would think they need a bigger space and more updated equipment.

I legitimately had to work out with a shirt over my nose and ended my workout early because I couldn't stand it anymore. The layout of the gym is always chaotic as hell. Yes there's a lot of machines, they are all old maybe 10% of what's in here is "new". Studio has no fans, neither does group studio. That makes no sense to me. The check-in person was super welcoming and told me about some of the other dance formats offered there. This dance studio caters to both children and adults. So you will see kids running around, which is ok, but I am not really used to. The class started on time. The instructor had great energy and encouraged us to have fun and do things our own style. I haven't been dancing in a while, so I knew it would be a good challenge for me. I really had a lot of fun. My only surprise is that the classes are only 60 mins. I think they ought to be 70 minutes to include a proper 5 min warm-up and 5-minute cool-down. There wasn't a lot of warming up in the beginning of this particular class. I've taken adult dance classes for years and I am used to something that include some warm-up movements to get the rotating joints going, like neck rolls, shoulder rolls, and hip and lower back movements. The class did include a relaxing cool down with stretching for the lower body and upper body. I plan to take more Hip-Hop style classes. They offer Cardio Hip-Hop, Beginner Hip-Hip and more advanced levels, Sensual Dance, Twerk, Ballet, Shuffle, Street Jazz and a lot more. I plan to try about 5 more formats and sign-up for one class for the summer session. I highly recommend this place!

I really like the smaller classes, where you can rely upon the instructor to be paying attention to all and correcting when needed (I'm new - I need guidance). The owners have gone through instructors like a 90 minute class goes through wipes. They have come to the point where they are shipping in coaches from DC and MD. Where do I begin? You walk in and the front desk is too busy talking about what's in their milkshake to greet you. Then you're waiting around a cluttered lobby with two piles of lost and found. The decorations from Christmas are still up. They have 39 spots for the class but only 4 coat hooks. The water fountain spits out warm water which tastes like it was run through the gym shorts of the previous class. Suggestion, it might be time to clean out those pipes! The class itself is a popularity contest. The regulars (people who suck up to the coaches and assume they can bully other class members) like to talk at a decibel higher than the music to update each other on which pre school is the best, which Range Rover car salesman has the hots for them and which "Starbies" they are going to after class. The workouts have gotten more repetitive and the music sucks. Please avoid and wait till the next fad gym comes through.

The coaches demo each exercise and give us individual help if needed. They push us, but it's always within our capability. They have us cheer for our fellow classmates and keep the vibe friendly and supportive. I like how it's never the same workout twice, it's only one hour, and how I can sign up for classes at different times and days each week to fit my changing schedule. Also, it seems to me to be a wide range of ages and fitness levels.
