World Gate has been my main gym for at least 3 years now. It's not the cheapest gym I could go to but for all the facilities and options offered plus the proximity to me, I cannot find another. The membership price is reasonable considering all of the facilities. However, it's not reasonable if you don't use all the facilities! Sometimes, I feel like I'm paying for some stuff I'm never interested in using - like the racketball rooms, the spa, yoga classes, dance classes, etc. There's another gym that's like 2 minutes away from me and costs like 50% of World Gate but they don't have a sauna which is essential to me. The facilities that I use regularly are the weight room, the sauna, and showers. I do like having the ability to swim sometimes if I want to. World Gate has a lot of options. I don't enjoy the price I'm paying but I also do not see another gym with all my non-essentials at a better price so I continue to go here. What's missing though is the actual cold plunges - not cryotherapy chairs. If they can manage that, I'd not be complaining about my membership price. I'd have everything I need. read more

Staff is friendly but several of the machines downstairs including all six of the stairmasters have been not working and rather than fixing the problem they put it aside. I enjoyed playing basketball but now pickleball is taking over half the gym everyday and the entire gym every other day which is very stupid and inconsiderate considering the tennis courts are rarely being used when pickleball is in the gym. The main pickleball instructor is also very unfriendly and always insanely rude whenever asking us to leave. Please move pickleball OUT of the gym or you will be loosing lots of business. read more

Front Staff is still friendly and great, but gym has been on a decline for past 2-3months. Machines have been broke for over a month with no repair and the culture here has a lot of people not following simple rules, such as slamming your weights (which is why the machines keep breaking, having full business calls while sitting on a machine, re-racking etc). I come everyday and never see staff monitor the floor. The trainers are down here, but I'm assuming it's not their responsibility. With no one monitoring and getting rid/or giving warnings to the disrespectful gym members, machines will keep breaking. Hopefully they turn it around, really have enjoyed this gym. read more

This is an outstanding club. I've been a member for a long while. When new management took over right after Covid, their renovations made a good club even better, and certainly brought it up to date. It's clean, has towel service, has every piece of equipment I could ask for, but, most importantly, every person who works there is fantastic, starting with the manager. The front desk folks make a point of remembering you and greeting you by name. It's a big touch, and makes one feel welcome. I use, on occasion, the squash courts, the pool, spin class, the indoor track and, of course, the gym. All are kept immaculate, court reservations are on an app and are easy to get, and there's never a problem with getting (or sharing) a lap lane. I did see a review discussing the equipment in the gym and the culture. While from time to time a piece of equipment breaks, rarely is it down for any length of time. I do agree that some folks don't understand (actually they don't care) about etiquette (not restacking weights, sitting on equipment and using the phone, etc), and while I have not seen trainers policing them, I have noticed a ton of signage going up with gym rules and requests to abide by them. Some people are going to be jerks, I suppose, but I'm not sure how one can solve this problem other than by educating them. I could not recommend this place more read more

Somehow they are blocking negative reviews and it seems people join this facility unaware of ongoing issues. I left a scathing review months ago--then took it down when a manager finally reached out. I thought the issue had been resolved. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. BIG mistake. Out of nowhere, I got a notice that they had sent my account to collections. Collections! For a membership I had already canceled--based on fraudulent charges and a completely mishandled situation. I've never encountered such blatant unprofessionalism from a gym in my life. I'm not just disappointed--I'm absolutely appalled. And judging by the latest reviews, nothing has changed. People are still using their phones in the locker room, sauna, and jacuzzi like it's their personal TikTok set. Since I joined in late November, I witnessed this every single time I visited: phones on speaker, FaceTime calls, and recording--right in the spa area! Kids (too old to be in opposite-sex locker areas) were running around screaming. One of my first visits, I saw people arguing in the locker room over phone usage and noise - and I brushed it off, thinking it was a one-time thing. Nope. That chaos is the norm. I lost count of how many times I had to abruptly leave the spa--mid-relaxation--because someone was blatantly using their phone. Employees walked by like nothing was happening. There's even a locker room attendant just standing there watching people on their phones, doing nothing. I finally said something after one woman followed me from the jacuzzi into the sauna while on FaceTime. I asked her to stop. She got aggressive. When I reported it to the front desk, their response? A smug, "Well, it's a public facility." As if that excused violating members' privacy. As if I was unreasonable for not wanting to be recorded naked in a spa. That was the last straw. I told them I wanted to cancel and posted a review. Eventually a manager called me and claimed that phone use wasn't allowed, and I should just call the front desk next time. Next time? The front desk never answers the phone! And why is the burden on me when there are employees literally stationed inside the locker room watching it happen? I told him I hadn't used the gym in over a month and didn't want to continue. He said I had to wait two months to cancel unless he did it immediately (gee, thanks). When I signed up, they told me it was month-to-month, just cancel by the 20th. But guess what--they "couldn't print the contract" when I enrolled. Then later, the manager sends me a contract copy that looks like someone forged my signature--after I had already canceled! Despite everything, I held off taking further action. I thought maybe they'd clean up their act after training their employees. I was even considering trying again--until I got the notice that my account had been sent to collections. Meanwhile, reviews are still pouring in about the same issues I experienced months ago. I have been a member of Lifetime Fitness on and off for over 20 years, in multiple locations, and I've never seen anything remotely like this. The appropriate organizations should be contacted to encourage a safe environment along with legal action. This isn't just about bad management. This is about safety, privacy, and a complete lack of integrity. read more

We have been members at this club for years, thru thick and thin, pandemics, recessions, etc.,. and we keep coming back. Wide variety of machines and training equipment in the gym, indoor tennis, an attached Spa, cycle classes, personal trainers, clean locker rooms, and a great indoor pool with conscientious and attentive lifeguards ( shout out to Ericka!) and swim classes/instructions. Not to mention free covered parking in the Worldgate parking garage. Five Stars read more

I received a truly rejuvenating experience with terra she has a divine gift her special message style was amazing! The facial tech terry was amazing as well! Both services provided were conducted by friend, professional and meticulous staff I highly recommend! A few suggestions: The music in the rooms and the hallway was fairly loud especially in the hallways. Given the state of constant pandemia we live in if any staff members have any extremely inflamed and noticeable rashes they should have it bandaged or covered in someway. As I was very concerned regarding the cause of such inflammation but thankfully there wasn't any direct contact with this staff member but it isn't the best first impression to have. read more

This is a beautiful club that has absolutely everything one may need; nice machines, 6 pool lanes, classes and even a spa. Also, this is the cleanest gym I've ever seen in my life! The locker-room jacuzzi was immaculate, showers and bathrooms were the same. They even offer a machine that sucks the water out of your suit... nice little machine that I've seen before but only at a club that was supposedly a premiere club. This gym has the premiere feel at an incredibly reasonable price. The employees are very friendly and helpful. read more

Great facilities, includes many squash courts, spa, whirlpool, sauna rooms, full weight floor. However, overpriced for what it is. In addition, they offer deals such as a free month for certain weekend signups, and then charge you for that month. 99% sure their business model is hoping with fingers crossed you just don't check your credit card bill. Heavy investment in all types of lifting weights and machines. Large number of aerobic machines. Racquetball and squash courts, boxing, tennis, swimming, walking track, and much more. Been coming a long time. Lately more crowded as prices are reasonable, so I try to come off-peak time. The Worldgate Club has an excellent facility, is clean and well-maintained. I have been a member for 15 plus years, but I honestly can't recommend it to anyone. Shortly after the 2020 pandemic, it switched management and the facilities received substantial upgrades. I left in late 2020 because many of the personal training staff did not want to leave OneLife. I left the Worldgate Club at that time because I had been training with that person for two years. when my trainer stopped training to return to her PhD program, I came back to Worldgate in 2022, and eventually found a really great trainer. I was paying over $700 a month for training and still had four sessions remaining. I "froze" my personal training because there were no other personal trainers that I wanted to train with. Imagine my surprise when Worldgate "unfroze" my membership and charged me another $700 in June. The management has refused to refund my money, even though I asked for it. I now have 12 personal training sessions that I will likely never use. It has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I would recommend that anyone considering this club be very aware of what you are getting into before you join. Caveat Emptor. read more

I went to the spa with my husband for my birthday. I had heard that their therapists specialized in recovery. We are both athletic so we gave it a try. We both loved our treatment and that we could stay and use the pool and hot tub. It's a huge space with just about everything you can think of. We would join if we lived closer. read more

i've been trying to schedule an appointment with these people all week for a couples massage and they kept telling me they would call back but they never did. i called a total of 8 times all week and they went back and forth between telling me it was going to happen and then telling me it wasn't. the last time i called, i assume receptionist answered, she was disrespectful and recommended me to a different spa. i feel like i was teased all week and they obviously lack professionalism and customer service skills. read more

The Worldgate Spa was amazing! I was trying to plan a fun spa day for my sister's birthday and was having trouble finding a place that was affordable but delivered a true spa experience. Then I stumbled on the Worldgate Spa and could not have been more blown away by how beautiful the facilities were and how talented and wonderfully helpful the staff was. The Director, Howard, helped me plan the special day and made sure everything was perfect down to the smallest detail. This place exudes tranquility and the relaxation room was truly lovely. We were able to sit and chat and relax with our champagne and snacks between services. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their massages and facial then we relaxed further in the gym's pool and jacuzzi which are available to spa guests. 5 stars is not enough to reflect what a wonderful time we had here and how amazing everyone was.
