I've always taken classes through class pass, but will probably start just signing up through his website because I like the classes so much. He pushes you to do your best, but not to the point of injury like some other trainers. He's tough, but also caring and realistic. Seriously though, I can't say enough nice things about BT Fitness. I've tried a few classes, he has a body pump style one and a circuit training one that I like. As for COVID protocol, he encourages mask wearing, keeps class size limited, and has a sanitation machine that he sprays equipment with after each use. Overall, I enjoyed the class. It was mostly women for the Saturday boot camp, which I found on Class Pass. The instructor is a man and he's no-nonsense. Haha. Everyone participating in class was nice. It wasn't a "warm" environment but it seems like there's a community there. Overall, a good workout. I definitely would've liked more explanation about where things were, additional modifications for my bar, etc. But I got the job done!

I was visiting a relative in town and was just looking for a place to run and work out in that wasn't outdoors in 90+-degree weather. (We Southern Californians are weather wimps.) It was so nice and cool - which is not true of all DC-area gyms. It was also clean and felt very safe for my first indoors post-pandemic workout. Best of all, the people that worked there were super helpful while being low-key. And it wasn't crowded both times I went, with the customers also seeming to be pretty low-key while being focused on their workout. (No grunting loudly every single rep and slamming weights down at the end of the set, which, any pro will tell you, honestly means you need to take the weights down a bit until you can control them.) I just wish I could transport Energy Club to Southern California. But if you live in the area, do yourself a favor and check them out.

I still wish reformer and sweatbox were included since the price for the gym isn't cheap! The facility is always well maintained and clean. i love the saunas, though those have broken a few times the management is always quick to repair the wait is usually part related. They have a wide variety of gym equipment and weight, squat racks, etc. they also offer personal training, which I have met a few of the trainers who are super nice and welcoming. It's great to workout at a gym where you are welcomed and get to know the front desk and staff. Overall, would highly recommend.

I've encountered So many experienced coaches and trainers, that are well educated in nutrition , weight loss and fitness also great motivators. I started off with a 6 week challenge and during that time I lost 16 pounds, I was amazed!. Out of all the Fitness centers, fad diets, personal trainers and Nutritionist; I have never gotten long lasting, life changing results until I encountered The Worx. After the 6 wk challenge I decided to join and I did that for me because I deserve it plus it was working. During my journey at The Worx I gained a healthy mindset, great discipline and my self esteem leveled up. I lost a total of 50lbs from the start of January 11th til August of 2019 . I was ecstatic !! not only did I look better but I felt so much better too. my energy level went up my self esteem went up and I will look great. By all means this gym, No, this community is by far the best choice I have made for my life change. It's worth finding! It's like a fun fitness party. The workouts are all a bit different and all incredible. I felt stronger and more energized after starting at SweatBox. The main SweatBox classes offer a combination of cycling, weights, and more in a high-intensity interval training format. It's a full body workout. Expect high energy, upbeat music, dim lights, and plenty of sweat. There is also a Stretch and Mobility class that is great for loosening up tight muscles. The instructors have a very positive attitude and inspire the students. This isn't one of those studios where you'll feel shamed or intimidated. Much of the credit goes to the Studio Manager, Gwen, who is also a fantastic instructor and lovely person. Gwen makes sure that everyone gets a great workout while having a great time in class. SweatBox is super lucky to have her! For me, it comes down to this: SweatBox motivates me to beat my own personal bests. I saw huge changes in my endurance and confidence after only a few classes. Amy & her husband, my coaches were a surprise Amber and Meredith-Grace!!. They even surprised us with a feature of a martial arts/self defense instructor! and he showed us some moves!!.... That workout was tough!!! I'm STILL sore even with only doing 3 sets each of different activities! I did the 18lb kettlebells & other things whole body felt like noodles!! But well worth it!!!... I've been coming for about 8 months now since their elementals class which gives you the basics on form, what to expect in the classes, etc. These were fantastic and I highly recommend to familiarize yourself to a CrossFit workout. Now I'm addicted and come about 2-3 times a week along with other workouts I do. In just 8 months, I feel like I've made so much more progress than in any other fitness routine I've done. I'm strong, toned, and I have never been injured here.. just a few bruises and sore muscles. Oh but it hurts so good, because I really see and feel the difference. In just one hour, you'll have the best workout of your life every time. The coaches here are really amazing and make sure they watch your form and make modifications so you don't get hurt, but truly you have to understand your limits and ask questions when needed. I'm amazed that my torn knee and back have not bothered me at all anymore now that I've strengthened the main and accessory muscles. I feel so strong!!! Thanks for making me feel like such a badass!!!
