Best workout class ever. Should have started earlier than ever. Trainers are super fun. Workouts keeps you guessing, overall 100 percent recommended . James , nilou , Jeff everyone is the bestttt!!

Ive been having the most amazing experience at F45 Sorrento Valley! The energy, motivation, and sense of community here are truly second to none and I've been to quite a few other F45s. I've had the pleasure to work with coach Jefferson and coach Darlene the most (since I workout at 12:15pm class) and they are seriously the best. Just overall, all the coaches - Chris, Fortune, Heather and Nilou are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, always pushing me to be my best. I love it when they put out a challenge and push me to beat it. F45 has become not just a gym but a second home for me and I feel super excited every time the workout is about to start. I have lost 30lbs and gained back the swagger that I lost over the years. I'm seriously doing workout challenges now!! The attitude entering the gym is just so positive and fun. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to transform their fitness and overall well-being. It's truly helped me get back into a healthy active life style.

Carmel Valley is a solid, well maintained location with the familiar OTF rhythm: clean space, organized floor, and that corporate template that keeps everything predictable no matter where you drop in. Parking is surprisingly abundant for this area. The only odd thing is that the prime spots right in front are labeled 30 minute parking even though every class is a full hour. It's a small detail, but it jumps out every time you pull in. Classes here fill up fast. And I mean fast. Waitlists are the norm, and I've been turned away more than once. If you're not booking early, you're rolling the dice. As for coaching, I haven't found a standout yet at this location. Everyone is competent and friendly, but the coaching style stays pretty homogenous thanks to the tight OTF corporate structure. If you're looking for consistency, you'll get it. If you're looking for a coach who completely changes your game, I haven't met that person here. Overall, it's a clean, reliable studio that delivers exactly what OTF promises: heart rate monitors, clear metrics, and a workout where you're competing against yourself in the best way.

I signed up a month ago, and from the very beginning I had various issues with my heart rate monitor. It felt like all the different girls at the reception kept giving me the runaround and I was getting frustrated having to use a loaner every time and hearing different answers from different people. Finally, I was able to meet with the manager, Amelia, and she really turned around my whole experience. She immediately fixed all my issues without me even having to ask, which I really appreciated. Ever since then, I'm a happy member! I have the unlimited membership and go about 4-5 times a week. I love all the classes and all the coaches! I never thought I'd enjoy a treadmill workout, but I even take the Tread50 classes once a week and they're a lot of fun!

Was hugely disappointed as the same thing he mentioned on second day that time I did not even ask anything. They don't just focus on helping you work out, they genuinely care about your overall health and well-being, which is something I haven't experienced at many gyms. Before joining, I had only ever done cardio, so strength training was brand new to me. I was a little intimidated at first about the idea of strength training , but from day one, they made the whole process feel approachable. They don't just tell you what to do, they explain the science behind the exercises, why you're doing them, and help you progress at your own pace. Their goal isn't to compare you to anyone else, but simply to help you become a stronger version of yourself. After training here for several years, I'm not only physically stronger, but I actually understand what I'm doing in the gym. I've learned proper form, when it's okay to push myself, and when it's smarter to hold back instead of ego lifting. One thing I really appreciate about Jon is that he wants people to become independent. He teaches you how to work out correctly so that if you're traveling or can't make it to the gym, you still have the knowledge and confidence to continue exercising safely on your own. That mindset says a lot about how much he genuinely wants his members to succeed. The community here is another reason I love this gym. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and supportive, making it a place you actually look forward to coming back to. Something else that really stands out is that they never make you feel like they're trying to sell you something. During a difficult period in my life, Jon was incredibly understanding. He encouraged me to take the time I needed instead of making me feel guilty for missing workouts. When I was dealing with a shoulder issue, he modified my workouts, had me skip certain exercises, and made sure I used lighter weights so I could recover safely without pushing myself too hard. That level of care is something I truly appreciate, and it's a big reason I've stayed here for so many years. And of course, I have to give a shout-out to Adri, she's an absolute sweetheart! I genuinely love everything about this gym and couldn't recommend it more.
