Very interesting menu. Came by for brunch as me and a group of 5 saw there was Spaghetti, sandwiches, noodles, rice and salads. The menu is pretty interesting and it's like a cozy store set up. Food wise, I think it's okay, I think the creamy bacon with mushroom spaghetti with was not mad except for it having too much bacon so it was bit overwhelming. The takoyaki was more crispy which I preferred. The shrimp with scrambled eggs was okay(didn't think it was too special) but I don't know if I would order again. But definitely a star for being different in the area since you don't see much of dessert stores having so more food option. My friend ordered the iced rice because she's like you usually don't see places with milk tea with ice rice. So I do intend to come back in the future to try other dishes and desserts.

Fa Fa Room feels like an upscale Hong Kong-style café, serving healthier versions of classic comfort foods. The restaurant is in a converted house, the tables have metal Korean-style utensils, and the space was nicely decorated in a holiday theme when we visited about a month ago. French music played in the background. Dishes we had In our first visit: BBQ Eel with Scrambled Eggs on Multigrain Rice 鰻魚滑蛋雜糧飯: $15; $16.33 with tax. With shiitake mushrooms, seaweed salad, tomatoes, corn, and a saffron garnish. Salad dressing is available on the side. Beef with Black Pepper Spaghetti 黑椒牛柳意麵: $13; $14.15 with tax. Comes with a saffron garnish. The dish had a nice peppery flavor. I thought the beef strips were on the tougher side, my companion thought the beef was as good it could get with minimal marination. Shrimp with Scrambled Eggs Sandwich 滑蛋蝦仁三明治: $10; $10.89 with tax. Complimentary hot barley tea or cold water is served. Suggested tips are based on post-tax subtotals and start at 15%. Cash payment provides a discount equivalent to the sales tax.

Fafa Room - Cozy, Cute, and Full of Flavor! This place is adorable! The decor is super cute and thoughtfully designed -- you can tell every little detail, from the utensils and bowls to the decorations, was carefully chosen. It's a small space, but that just makes it feel warm and cozy. The whole room is vibrant and perfect for taking photos (definitely feels like it was designed that way on purpose!). I had the black pepper beef pasta, and it was incredible -- flavorful, well-seasoned, and had that black pepper spiciness that sneaks up slowly and gives a perfect little kick without being too spicy. Everything tasted fresh and balanced, and the price was only around $14, which is very reasonable. I also tried the orange and apple juice, and it tasted so fresh -- exactly like something you'd make at home. The food took a little time to come out after ordering, but it wasn't bad at all and totally worth the wait. The servers were nice and attentive, and they accept credit cards too. Overall, Fafa Room is a cozy little gem with great vibes, thoughtful design, and amazing food at a fair price. Highly recommend!

My husband and I decided to try this place since the photos looked amazing and the vibe looked really cozy in other reviews and it didn't disappoint! The restaurant feels very cozy with the heat and the home like feel. I ordered the creamy mushroom spaghetti which is essentially like an carbonara, it was delicious! I wish it had more mushrooms but flavor wise , it was good! My husband got a braised eel over multigrain rice and it looked super healthy and it was a good balance of eel and veggies like tomatoes, seaweed salad! it was a good combo! The only thing I wouldn't get again would be the sweet corn in a bowl, since the corn tasted undercooked and I wasn't a fan of the mayo like sauce they put on top. The only reason why it's a 4 instead of 5 is because the price was a bit high for the portion size, but other than that, it was a good experience! The staff was also very friendly and polite when they had to tell me that my original dish was not available. I would recommend to a friend!

This is a cute place for a cute time. What I mean is that, Fa Fa Room gives me similar vibes as in attending a tea party with the girls. I would come here with girlfriends or girl cousins for a sweet time. The interior is warmly lit with sweet and quirky decor, and dining-ware. The shrimp and egg sandwich was what I came for. While it didn't blow me away in flavor, the overall presentation of was cute. It felt more like a snack then a meal. I got two sandwiches, one with shrimp, other with sliced chicken pieces. Both made with scrambled eggs, corn and a furikake seasoning. The chicken was on the rubbery side. They use 3 slices of white sandwich bread to make the sandwich, which added a nice sweetness. I had taken my order to go and it was packaged really well, with a pair of plastic gloves so you don't get messy hands- another cute touch. They have some unique items on their menus, including noodles, teas, desserts and interesting beverages. I'm interested to try them so I'll definitely be going back. It's located in a busy area of Sunset Park's Chinatown, but it's sort of tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I've said cute many times here, because that's exactly how this place feels.

Really good + healthy food for a reasonable price. Portions can be a lil bigger and I wish they did add on's for protein. I'd def order here again

I really liked the food! Very healthy and delicious. They plate it greatly! I do think it is slightly overpriced compared to the options around here. In addition, staff members don't have the common sense of coursing desserts at the end. I ordered my dessert with the rest of meal but it came out first... for the price and representation, they should train staff how to course meals. The space itself is very calming and relaxing! Feels like a coffee shop that doesn't really sell coffee... I'd love it if they add some more small bites and coffee to the selection.

An aesthetic Asian-inspired cafe/restaurant with a clean restroom and cozy cottage vibes. The menu includes fresh juices, healthy and vibrant salads, sandwiches, buckwheat noodles, and more. The service was polite albeit awkward-- maybe because we walked in with an outside drink? After seeing the "No outside food or drinks" sign on our way in though, we kept the unopened drink in its bag. Either way, it felt like the staff kept staring. * Spaghetti with Shrimp and Tomato Bolognese 番茄肉酱虾仁意面 $13.00 I love a good spaghetti bolognese and this was a tasty rendition of a classic recipe, even if not in the least traditional. The spaghetti was al dente, the shrimp succulent, and the sauce rich, thick, and meaty. It was a tad dry though and could've used more sauce. * Spaghetti with Black Pepper Steak 黑椒牛柳意面 $13.00 I prefer the spaghetti bolognese, but my sister loved this one. The spaghetti again was nicely cooked, the steak tender and chewy, and the sauce peppery with a slight kick. They were very generous with the steak portion too! * Takoyaki with Seaweed Salad 海草沙拉章鱼小丸子 $8.00 Savory, sweet, and delicious! We thought the seaweed salad would come on the side, but it came on top of the takoyaki and surprisingly the combination worked. **They waive tax if you pay cash!

$13.00- Spaghetti w.Shrimp & Tomato bolognese 6/10 the tomato sauce wasn't that strong.

When I asked the staff, they regretfully informed me that they did not have slices that day, so I went with the next best option... an 8" cake! I didn't get any writing on the cake, as I already had a Happy Birthday candle, and I didn't want to add extra icing to the cake. I liked how well they package the cake. The box was large enough, and they line the bag with a thin piece of cardboard to stabilize the box. I'm not a big sweets person, but I enjoyed the chocolate-y richness of the cake. The cake itself was moist and the pudding held everything together well. I would be back to try their Strawberry Shortcake and other desserts.

The pairing with chocolate and banana and strawberry is a classic hit and I love that they didn't skimp on the chocolate or biscoff here. The layers of crepe were appropriate thickness and not too dense. I hate when they crepe is too thick and feels like you're getting a mouthful of dough. Not with this bad boy. I asked if there was any way to fix this, and right away, the hostess brought us to another table with a much better view of that magnificent manhattan skyline and river. Then the food. Omg the food. We each ordered our main, after which they bring out an enormous tray of all these lovely nibble salads, pickles, dips, and pita. I don't eat wheat, and haven't my entire life, so I usually don't say anything about it if it seems to me the place doesn't cater to that sort of restriction. The server noticed however, and offered sliced cucumbers for the dips. Such a lovely detail, brava. Did I mention how deeeeeeeelicious everything was? Hubby had the steak shishlika which was perfectly tender and charred at once. I had the chicken shishlika which was good, but not the wow of the steak. Each and every salad, dip, pickle etc was perfectly spiced, cooked, presented. The nuances were just right. Nothing too precious or sideways. Just honest, well built yummy food. And the fries. You MUST get the fries. We ordered the tahini ranch along with the tahini catsup. In my opinion, that wasn't necessary. But if you're a ranch lover, go for it. Then the dessert! Soft serve with a cherry reduction and some kind of flourless chocolate brownie... I don't need to say more. The service was excellent. The food delicious.
