Even though they advertise hassle free pick up, I was told I would have to lug the 7x9 rug in myself, (I am a female in my 70's), for them to tell me what it would cost. I then asked if I could text photos of the front and back of the rug so they could at least tell me if it could be repaired, which she agreed to. Even though they advertise that they repair hand knotted rugs, she told me that it was a hand knotted rug amd that they were not set up for that type of repair. So then I asked if she could recommend someone who could, and I got crickets. Seems like they don't stand by what they advertise. Very surprising since they have such a large presence in this area. I am a Realtor and an Interior Designer and in the process of compiling a resource book to publish for new residents to Sussex Co. I will not be including them as a resource.

He asked me to walk him through the house and show him what was to be done. He was able to get some pets stains out that was sure were there to stay. After reading reviews decided to try Sussex Chem Dry. Needed three bedrooms cleaned. First, I found…read moreit odd that the carpet cleaner arrived to my home sans mask and I had to request he put one on. My husband is a tech and visits peoples homes and his company requires the use of a face mask upon entry. Tech came in and gave me a quote which was over the special price due to square footage which I agreed to. After he was done I realized he had piled any and all small items of furniture etc. on top of our beds. Some of which were boxes chairs and dusty items. I asked if I needed to move anything before he started and he said no. Most companies I've used in the past move the item to clean and move it back... he placed multiple items all over our clean beds which required me to have to do extra laundry etc. also- carpets do not dry any faster... carpets were cleaned at 1pm and did not seem dry enough to walk on until the next day. Even with the use of fans and dehumidifier. Carpets are cleaned but I would not utilize Sussex Chem Dry again.
