This is absolutely my go to place for upholstery fabrics. They have a wide variety of fabrics to choose from and truthfully, they have so many options to choose from, sometimes I have trouble deciding on just one! They offer samples as well, so having that option has helped me see what my potential project would look like in my own house. I've done smaller upholstery and pillow projects on my own, and in one instance, picked out the upholstery fabric here, and successfully took it to a professional to recover an entire couch. They even have a separate TV waiting area for folks who accompany you, and don't give a fig about fabrics. I hope these folks never go out of business. Highly recommended. read more

Fabric & Fringe Warehouse has a huge selection of fabrics that will have any textile lover walking around in amazement. Every fabric on display has a pouch with free fabric cut outs for customers to take home, and a card that contains a substantial amount of information on the details of the fabric. This is super helpful for those who want to fabric match with current home decor projects. There are huge bins with $5 bundles of fabrics. The fabrics are about 2 ft x 2 ft each; however, they are upholstery fabrics, so I couldn't find a use case for them. The fabrics in the bin come from collections of the 2010's. There's also a little lounge for customers to watch TV & read magazines. Overall, a great experience, and I will be back again! read more

When searching for "Canvas" fabric on their website it popped up with "Ingrid-Canvas-PKL-LQ" It looked like a basketweave canvas in a cream color. When I received it is a basketweave fabric, not canvas at all. When I wrote to this shop, they said that "Canvas" is the name of the color!!!!! Why would a color come up when searching for a specific fabric. When I put linen for a search, it shows me all linen fabric. Fabric & Fringe Warehouse does not accept responsibility for their website search results. I will not be doing business with them again. My suggestion.....Be careful what you order from there. Word of warning. This is from a husband's prospective, so for fabric enthusiasts this review might fall short since I know nothing about fabric. I visited Fabric & Fringe Warehouse with my wife and her sister this past weekend. I really didn't want to go, but I was dragged along. The good news for husbands is they have a comfy den with leather loveseats that are super comfy and there is a television present to wait while your significant other shops the huge warehouse of fabrics and fabric accessories. I enjoyed my time in here and almost took a nap, until my wife was ready for me to look at the fabric samples she had picked out. We settled on a design and bought a roll of the selected fabric. This place is awesome with great prices too - lots of fringe too which can be hard to find I'm a designer and can buy wholesale anywhere but sometimes there's no time to order and wait. I saw one place where yelpers said it was closed .... it's not ! As of Feb 2018 they're still there they have another location too in downtown Marietta / Kennesaw. They have a huge selection of home decor fabrics - not dressmaking. Also foam and pillow inserts, rods and other drapery hardware as well. Go to the counter if you need help or scissors to cut a "small please " sample Design tip - ALWAYS take a sample home to look at in your lighting and with your other decor to avoid an expensive mistake! read more

I'm so mad I could spit. Drove ALL the way to this 'warehouse' only to discover that they were closed for Father's Day. Okay . . . I get it - it's a holiday - and you're a privately owned "Mom & Pop" type of business - but I'm still pissed. When I called - I actually got a recording that tells you their business hours and advises that they're either helping other customers or closed. And asks you to call for special holiday hours. Argh. I guess I'm an idiot because I would have thought 'holiday' encompassed Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Years - stuff like that - I guess federal type holidays. Plus if you're not 'dressed up,' the staff here can be kind of condescending and 'saditty' to use one of my 'country' terms. Add to that - they're pretty pricey. I really miss the good old days when fabric was cheap and plentiful. Oh well. I think I'm finally crossing them off my list. read more

I'm going to preface this review stating that this place is not in Marietta. It's in Kennesaw. Splitting hairs, but it's a mile or two away from Kennesaw Mountain. Now, for the fabric store itself. The store is fairly large. It's a true warehouse, but not a huge, expansive warehouse. It's built into an old home. There's a fairly good selection of silk, but the prices are more than I'd like to pay for silk. I can get the same quality silk at Joann for half the price, thanks to awesome Joann coupons. The home decor fabrics are clearly where they make their bread and butter, as there's a lot of home decor fabrics. Nothing really worked for my purposes. It's very typical home decor stuff. If you're looking for generic, inoffensive home decor fabric, this is probably the place you'd like to go. It's not the place to find fabric for costumes, unless you're making Renaissance garb. read more

I read the previous reviews about Fabric and Fringe being closed Fathers Day and while i understand the customer's frustration i think it is unfair to give such a low rating. Yes, they should have changed their phone message and perhaps you drove for a while but as i can from this customer's review history, negative reviews are standard for them. I hate being disappointed too but its a great store. I have been going to Fabric and Fringe for a few years. In my opinion it IS a warehouse. There are very long aisles lined with vertically hanging bolts of fabric- maybe 6-8 bolts high. They have a great selection of foam, pillow forms, drapery hardware and fringe. Cement floors and industrial type open ceiling - seems very "warehouse like" to me. Negatives for me: The entrance area is a little crowded and the layout is confusing at first. No one is at the front of the store to greet customers or direct you to what you need. In fact, I have never been asked if i needed assistance. I literally have to find a person who is not with a customer and ask them if they can help me. There is a language barrier with several of the employees and the group hangs out together instead of helping customers. If you happen to see the owner ask him for help- he is super friendly and knows exactly where everything is. The staff is much more attentive when they see him coming. Hummm . Thank goodness he is almost always there. Checkout area has room beside it with a lot of junky stuff that seems like an after thought - flea market-ish. They have a room with a sofa and a television (always turned on). I guess it is for husbands, but sometimes there is merchandise in there and i never feel comfortable going in. Maybe the owner hangs out here so the staff can relax? My husband would definitely sit in there and i would get to shop longer than if he had to shop with me. Overall I love this place and can almost always find what I need and at a reasonable price. I refer friends often and even though I live in town I prefer it to the places on Chattahoochee. read more

If I find a fabric somewhere else, I always check F&F to make sure I can't get a better deal for my clients. I appreciate the quality and hardly ever see any defects. I love that I discovered by chance this gem of a store. They have great quality and values and selection. The staff is super friendly. I love that one must NOT wear a mask; that is, and should be the choice of the shoppers. This is my go-to new favorite place to get inspired with all they have to offer at very decent prices, especially their discounted goodies I always have to "buy for later" just because it was a good deal. This is a great fabric store! I am a designer in the area and shop ALL the fabric stores on Canton Road (now called Fabric Row!) and they each offer a little different flavor to fabric choices..... Fabric and Fringe probably offers the largest selection and is laid out very organized by color which helps if you are in a hurry, like I usually am... I have always shopped this store, I mean since they opened in even the pervious location near fairgrounds, this is a superior location, they have a great selection arranged by either fabric type, silks, hardware for hanging drapery, home decor fabrics in the main warehouse, & outdoor fabrics, pillow forms, upholstery foam, batting, and sewing supplies & trimmings all arranged by color & type. They are friendly & helpful (but not like retail craft store type of cheaper fabrics ) yes they do close on Father's Day, most women are busy honoring the men in their lives on that day, 7 the owner is a man, big deal. I mean people try to run in a business just because they happened to go when the business was closed. Those reviewers revealed more about themselves being snarly and angry nasty people than an honest review of the business. I know when I go there I can usually find several possibilities they will work for my project at prices less than those in the Chattachooche , Howell mill area, they have email & text coupons occasionally but their fabrics are far superior to Joann's craft store, so any comparison to the 2 are about as effective as trying to taste the number 9. This is a great place if you go when they are opened which is most of the usual times other family owned businesses are. read more

I think that the biggest reason why I was disappointed with this place is because they did not choose their name wisely. Granted I'm finding that Atlanta doesn't have many affordable fabric stores (surprisingly) but where I moved from, all of the stores that had warehouse in the name not only had a huge selection to choose from but they had wholesale prices and great deals. This place has a great selection but hobby lobby prices (which is what I was aiming to get away from). But at least Hobby lobby has great coupons...which this place does not so in essence its even more expensive than hobby lobby. Even the remnants that are on sale don't have fabulous prices and they require that you finish off the rest of the roll which averages 4 or so yards-this is not conducive to smaller projects or good deals Pros: -not sketchy -large selection of home decor fabrics (silks and thick fabrics as well as a nice selection of outdoor fabrics) Cons: -price per yard range is $8-$30 a yard -not many sale/clearance items -deceptive name as it is closer to a retail store than a warehouse read more

Fabric and Fringe is the BEST place to shop for your home decorating fabrics & trimmings. I have been visiting the Fabric and Fringe for over 12 years and they just keep getting better! I went in on Saturday and found the basis for my entire bedroom. I went back today and the people at FFW were so nice and helpful. They worked with me to help me pull the last coordinates together and match beautiful trimmings. The selection here is out of this world, the people are friendly and make you feel welcome and the prices are great. If you are redecorating, you need to visit the Fabric and Fringe Warehouse. This fabric store is not closed. That must have been the competition or some one without GPS , or someone that went on the times that they aren't opened. I've been shopping with them since they opened at a different location smaller less appealing area. This is a fantastic place to get fabrics from a warehouse sized building with a nice southern front entrance of a large southern home columns & porch & all. They have a nice organized by color shopping area , an extensive selection of trims, a few sale areas & outdoor fabrics, foams & batting. That's why I've been their client for over 20 years, 2 locations , the previous & the present & over 20-25 plus years. read more

Used to live in the Atl and loved going to Fabric and Fringe Warehouse. Now that I'm living in Orlando, I drive back to shop at least twice a year. They are that good! When they first opened, their prices were fantastic. Have recently noticed that this has changed and their prices are much higher. However, they have a huge selection - fabric is arranged by color.
