I found the salesmen brusque in manner and unwilling to assist me in my pricing of their selection of tulle netting. They told me over the phone that they stocked it in 'many color,' but when I arrived, I only found three colors. I ended up with 5 yards of fabric that I thought would be 2$ per yard; I was charged 3$. I will be heading to Jackson Heights' large collection of higher rated fabric stores in the future. Despite the beauty of the fabric collection here, I give this store a 'meh' rating, based on my shopping experience.

I witnessed another customer try to get her 20% discount for applying to the Michael's credit card. After completing the entire process and getting approve, the cashier told her "We don't honor that policy at this location." Lastly, they don't properly label prices. Beads labeled at $8- $10 on the display ring up at $11- $14 at checkout. This didn't happen once, but the last 6 times I visited this store. it's disappointing that for this being the only arts and crafts store in the area, after putting smaller stores out of busines, that they operate like this. On google the price hikes are blaming inflation and tariffs but Michael's charges $21 dollars for Ranger ink pads, when they are $14 at Ranger's own website.

Today was my first time ever visiting this fabric store and I was not happy with the service at…read moreall. As soon as I walked in, the only store employee who was working at the time named JANE did not greet me at all. She showed poor customer service and was not able to help me with what I needed. When I walked over to where she was standing she failed to greet me again as a customer, and never said anything such as "How May I help you?" Once I finally got Jane's attention she just stared at me...so I proceeded to let her know the reason why I'm visiting the store was to find a beige colored piece of fabric to patch up a mark I had on my coat. The first thing Jane told me was "we don't have that type of material." She didn't bother to look at my garment or offer to assist me in finding something similar. She then proceeded to tell me "you can look around yourself." I almost walked out of the store due to her lack of customer service. I was honestly disgusted by her attitude and how rude she was.
