I dropped off a $70 dress to be hemmed and was charged $100. When I questioned the price, the seamstresses Adrianna was very rude. the other staff was very kind with this situation. I'm very disappointed. I have plenty of business to give them but I will never go back and do not recommend their services to anyone. read more

Adriana does an excellent job on alterations. She is the best I've come across on the South Shore and I most certainly would recommend her!

Took curtains into fabricare for alterations .. two of the four small curtains needed hemmed and each of the two pair needed sown together. They did not give an estimate but we did not expect larceny. Went to pick them up and the girl said that would be 150. I said 150 what? Pay or you don't get your curtains. Avoid these crooks like the Covid!! They should all be in jail! read more

My daughter dropped off a dress to be hemmed and had called ahead of time and was told she could be seen if she came right then. Upon arrival there was a clear lack of communication within the staff as she was told no one had told her to come in and felt quite unwelcome. The seamstress ended up seeing her and was pleasant, but the pricing for a simple gown is $75. Such a racket. Dependables quoted $25 to hem a gown $30 if lined. This gown is not lined. Fabricare made a big deal about picking it up in a week so I called the next day to pick it up to bring it elsewhere but was told it was done. We will not be going to Fabricare again. read more

Have used this cleaners for dry cleaning and tailoring. The staff is friendly and professional. The staff upstairs who does the tailoring are the best around. I work in a women's fashion retailer and bring pieces that need to be fixed here. They do it in record timing and for a great price. Told them about an emergency and I needed the mans suit & shirt returned by early AM the next day. Price was reasonably. Last minute I gave them 3 ties as didn't know which one would be needed. When picking them up the following day everything was ready as promised but price was a lot more than I expected. I couldn't believe how expensive the ties were to clean. I gave them a very expensive Jacket for dry cleaning and they completely ruined the beautiful brass buttons which look like dull copper with scratches now. My jacket is in worse condition then when I have it to them. When I showed it to them, all they said is that they want me to be happy and can refund the money I paid for dry cleaning. Went there to get a bridesmaids dress altered on6/1/19 i said i don't need it till 7/14/19... called them a week before pick just to check on the dress rep said they won't even start the alterations till that day... went to the place on the day and they were closed..called the 7/15/19 first they could not locate my dress by my number by the slip number anything took forever. Finally found dress and was told it's been done a while ago... never again i will use them!! read more

Took my king sized comforter in to have it cleaned. She warned me that the type of comforter it was sometimes bunched up but it rarely happened and that no other issues would arise. Thanks for the warning! Got it back a week later and there was no bunch but more importantly ALL of my golden retriever's hair was gone. And it no longer smelled like my dog lived on it. Total came to $30. I've never dry cleaned a comforter before but my gf said that was really inexpensive so I'm happy. I'm taking a vest in to have it tailored. Even though I moved from Hingham 8 years ago I continue to use this dry cleaner because they have great customer service and replace the buttons of my shirt when they pop off (I don't even have to ask, they just do it). They have never lost a single article of clothing and even return various credit cards and cash that I sometimes leave in my pockets. I could probably find a cheaper dry cleaner closer to home, but then I would have to worry about lost suits and un returned cash and charge cards. read more

The service is awesome!!! They have a drive up window which is great if you have children or if its raining.. you just drive up and ring the bell.... they come over super fast... sometimes i need things done in a rush and they always accomendate me. I've been using Fabricare House since I moved to Norwell. The service is great - the staff is friendly and they are open until 7PM most nights and are even open on Sundays. They're not cheap but in many cases you get what you pay for. I would highly recommend. read more

Received very poor service at Fabricare today, August 19 at 1 pm. Girls were unfriendly and unknowlegable about the online sheet promotion on your website. When I asked about they just shrugged and the manager just said I don't know. They were not friendly. I still dropped off around $35 dollars worth of dry cleaning without getting the pay $20 and receive the wash and fold sheets promotion. I was embarrassed and then asked what the amount would be for my items and they dark haired girl said I don't know. Come on, you take my clothes and then have no idea what you are going to charge me when I come back in in a week?? Sounds like very poor customer service to me. Will let friends and family know. After going out to my car i turned around and went back inside and asked for my clothes back. They could care less. One less customer is no big deal to them. We go to many dry cleaners ourselves and will stay with the ones who tell us what we will owe up front and have a smile on their faces and go beyond to know about their promotions. i had alterations completed on my mother of the bride dress. 9/20/14. the incorrect side of the dress was taken in and a simple repair was attempted with elmer's glue. when i questioned the repair she told me to just get super glue to do it myself but it might melt the fabric. needless to say it was a terrible experience for me and i would not recommend the alterations department. read more
