The watch was special to me so I told him to go ahead. When I got there, he opened the back and showed me the inside of it, so I could see the three batteries, and he was nice enough to give me a deal on the cost. This is what makes "mom and pop" stores the best places to do business. The honesty and kindness he showed immediately insured that I would always do business with him from then on. I was able to come in within the hour to see if the watch I got at the flea market was broken or just had a dead battery. He told me he'd only charge if it the latter.
