Fun fashion at reasonable prices! I've been to 3 (Vinings, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody) Fab'rik shops in Atlanta and found out that they are franchises. This review is for all 3 shops. Fab'rik has helpful staff, cold beverages while you shop. They all seem to be located in small outdoor shopping centers, Vinings Jubilee, Citywalk and Perimeter Place. They carry laid back trendy pieces without having to go to enclosed malls or the usual chains. I see women in their 20s to 60s shopping here so something for everyone! Their price generally ranges from $20 to $120. These aren't investment pieces but fun, comfy, cheerful fashionista kinds. They seem to get new shipments all the time and don't last too long on shelves. Each store carries common lines but also quite a bit of distinct items too. The 3 shops I've visited really had different personalities. So if you've been to one, it's worth checking out others! Customer service at each shop is really warm and helpful. I've been to this Vinings location half a dozen times and the gals are always super nice. Dunwoody location gals were just as helpful as well. At the Sandy Springs' location I experienced a mishap but Amanda, the manager, went over and beyond to make things right! Her level of customer service is what I used to get at Nordstrom's growing up. She has converted me to a customer for life! I have to be the first to review, I mean... c'mon! I used to work very close to this boutique and would stop by once in a while, especially after dropping by Ali's Cookies. This was probably counter-intuitive, as after you've eaten cookies (with milk, mind you), you probably increased the size that you need to cover your body. But whatever. That was my routine. Until yesterday. I stopped by, after months had gone by, and noticed that there was still no Yelp listing for the place. I was looking to replace this studded (p)leather cuff that I had gotten at the end of the last year. Running to catch the MARTA train one day, I must have done some crazy wrist movement and some lucky person snatched it up quickly. Or maybe a MARTA employee saw it lying on the ground and proceeded to tidy up and toss it in the trash. We'll never know. I wasn't fortunate enough to find what I was looking for and spent about 10 minutes wandering aimlessly to see if anything caught my eye. While I saw some nice pieces, including in the sale section, nothing screamed out at me. Service was not too attentive, but friendly enough. Fine by me. I want to be left alone when I'm shopping anyway. If you want a break from the mall scene, swing by a fab'rik boutique and see if you can score something to take you into the spring. Or whatever other season that is approaching. Because if it's falltime when you read this, don't go looking for chiffon dresses to wear in 30-degree weather and come blaming me when you catch some illness. I refuse to be held liable. But if you get something awesome, maybe you can give me some credit for steering you to visit. read more

Had the most amazing experience at the dunwoody location! Customer service was the best I've ever experienced! I went in looking for an outfit for an event I had coming up and I had no idea what I was even looking for but the employees were patient, honest, made me feel beautiful and just so so kind! I ended up finding the PERFECT outfit with their help! I got so many compliments the night of my event, I was so pleased! I will definitely be returning to shop in the future! I always loved shopping at Fab'rik until I purchased an online item that was too big due to poor material. Since I frequently shop at Fabrik, I was not interested in receiving my money back but instead, store credit for future merchandise or even a different size. Unfortunately, the corporate office responded with a hard NO. Not a thank you for being a loyal shopper or an apology. The item I purchased was within the return policy, I have the receipt, and the tags are still attached. Please keep in mind Fab'rik that your competitors accept returns if the lining is still on the apparel and or the tags are still attached to the apparel. I think a one-time forgiveness would have gone a long way. You lost a repeat loyal customer. read more

I bought a shirt from here for my engagement photos.. the morning of the shoot I woke up and put the shirt on and this top I had just paid 60$ for split at the seams . I tried to take it back .. I had literally bought it maybe two days prior and never got to wear it. I was told by the manager they would not make a return but they would refer me to the tailor they use . Horrible customer service. Especially from the manager. I bought a handful of items before thanksgiving. An extra sweater was placed in my bag that I indeed paid for but did not want. Also after wearing a pair of pants I had bought I noticed a hole. No way I could have made that hole, if the items are so expensive wouldn't you want to stand by your brand and accept returns/exchanges. Or at least Be nice about it? At least ACT like you care. I had the receipt AND the tags.(no, they were not attached) As I entered the store to attempt to return/exchange the items, not only did the manager ask me "did you even buy these here?" When I bought them WITH HER a week prior. She also was CLUTCHING their return policy sign. Lady! Don't be mean? Where's your customer service? I have not memorized your return policy, it is completely acceptable For a customer to ask about returning an item?? She also acted as if I was disgusting and the clothes I was "trying to exchange" were disgusting. Making faces. It was humiliating. I tried to return an item to the Perimeter Fabrik store today WITH MY RECEIPT but didn't have the tag. Not only did they not let me exchange my item, which was only a purse strap, but the way the owner dealt with the situation was unacceptable. I went as far as emailing the owner who admitted to "bending the rules to customers who are nice." I loved fabrik but after this experience, I will not be using any of my money or wasting any of my time at this store. If you plan on exchanging any items, plan to bring a receipt and TAGS or you will be talked down to and treated rudely. read more

I've been a devoted customer for years. I purchased the cutest crop sweater. It is really cute but amazingly itchy and irritating to my skin. I made the mIstake of removing the tag and they refused to exchange it. I didn't want to return but exchange. I'm surprised they will not exchange especially when it was not worn and it would be too easy for them to re-attach the tag. For something so small you've now lost my business. The manager is so rude she has literally never smiled at me and I've been in there so many times. I never want to spend my money at a place where a manager would be so rude to their customers. The manager just insinuated that I sure come in there a lot and don't buy very much to my face while I was trying to buy something. I was really excited to find a Fab'rik after moving to the area as it was my favorite boutique back in Raleigh. I went in just before closing and the manager was incredibly friendly, sweet, and helpful. Of course, I apologized for rolling in so late but they were very accommodating and did not mind at all. It was the perfect combination of assistance and distance while I was shopping. No one likes to be smothered. This store has some boutique brands I really love. Drive further and be treated better. The owner of the store is the problem. I shop in there all the time and yesterday I came at a daytime hour when she was working and had a skirt to return. I was buying several other things and had the receipt from the skirt I was returning but she refused she return without the tag. It wasn't even that they wouldn't return it , it was her attitude. This is the worst Fabrik I have been to! I will continue shopping at Fabrik; however, I will never shop at this location again. The staff is rude and not helpful. I bought a sweater for over $70. The first time I wore the sweater I noticed a small hole in the sleeve. When I went to exchange the sweater two days after I purchased it, the staff was not helpful and told me they could not exchange the sweater since I had worn it. She said all they could do was take it to a tailor to be fixed. Mind you I wore the sweater in the store dressing room longer than after when I purchased it. I gave them my sweater to be tailored, but it's been two weeks now and it is still not fixed... The return/exchange policy is one thing but how the staff treats you explains things is up to the employees, who in my opinion did a bad job. read more

I will never go there again. Manager was SO RUDE. I tried to exchange a shirt with a gift receipt. I was told, rudely that it was past 30 days. After much discussion, she said I could exchange or. (Which was my original goal). My daughter found 2 items of equal value for the exchange. Melissa, the manager, entered the gift receipt into the computer and told me she couldn't find the sale (clearly marked on the receipt with an exact description of the item) and there was nothing she could do. I am an avid shopper at Fabrik at many of their locations. I recently shopped at the Perimeter/Dunwoody store. I'm so very disappointed in the customer service that I received from the store manager when I called to inform her of one of my purchases. I spent a little over $500 this particular day on mostly sale items and am fully aware of their policy. A few days after purchasing I put on the pair of jeans that I bought and they literally ripped to shreds as if they were dry rotted or may just cheap. They weren't too small and had plenty of stretch, but was simply unable to pull them up without ripping in the crouch and around the belt loops. I paid $33 for them and found that to be unacceptable. I'm a shopper from Nieman Marcus, Saks 5th Ave. to Zara & Fabrik and understand the difference between high end and lower end items. Even so, you don't expect that to happen. I called and explained in a very calm tone, to the manager, my experience and instead of putting me the customer first, she tells me that it was on sale and it couldn't be returned because I removed the tag and it couldn't be sold again. This is totally unacceptable and what happen to their merchandise should supercede the return policy. I wasn't asking for money, but just to exchange for something else. This lady went back and forth with me to conclude that she would not allow the return. I was in the area and told her I'd come by to show her the pants as I was wearing to meet hubby for a dinner date. Good thing I had on a long sweater. I asked for the owners name and she took my info and promised to have the owner call me. I've heard nothing. Shame on this location. I've owned an upscale boutique before and understand the importance of repeat business from a good customer. NEVER, EVER SHOP at this location. I have been a loyal Fabrik customer since they opened, mostly at the Buckhead location, however I made a purchase at the Dunwoody location for the first time in several years. This will certainly be the last. I went out of my way to shop this location because they had my size in a dress I wanted that wasn't available at the location I had been at prior. I intended to wear it for my anniversary but when trying it on, noticed it might be snug in the chest area. I didn't have on a strapless bra so couldn't really determine the fit until I got home and tried it on with the correct bra. I am familiar with the 7 day return policy and figured it would be no issue to return it if it didn't work. Low and behold, it did not work. I was bummed bc the dress is beautiful however the snap at the chest area just would not stay closed so I returned it. While I didn't have any issues actually getting my money back, the Manager was extremely rude to me during the process. She insinuated that I had worn the dress and seemed pissed that I was returning it with her passive aggressive comments. Not to mention her facial expressions and cold demeanor towards me. She stated, very rudely, to me and the store associate, that there was deodorant all over it that needed to be wiped off before putting it on the floor. I politely apologized for that and said it must have happened when trying it on. It happens when anyone tries on clothes so I'm not sure why this was so unusual. I also said that I was bummed I could not keep it due to the snap popping open at the chest. She didn't even acknowledge my comment but made a snarky face at me. Then, when she was processing the return, she said "our systems aren't working, you can look around while you wait". I almost feel like she was delaying the process so that I would look around and want to buy something else. After she was so rude to me, I had no interest in spending my money there even if I had seen something I liked. I've never been treated this way in any of the Fabrik stores and will never shop at this location again. I don't understand how this store is still in business with a Manager who treats customers like this. After reading other reviews here, it seems like I am not the only one who has had this type of experience. read more

Very disappointed in the entire online shopping experience. Paid for rush shipping and still did not receive item until well past the expected date. Trying to reach their customer service was painful and once the did reply, they supplied misinformation. I was told repeatedly, the item shipped on the day I ordered it. Very disappointed with my encounter with the owner of this location today. I have been a regular Fab'rik customer (at several locations) for many years and have been very happy with my pieces and the level of customer service I received. Only recently have I been frequenting this location as I moved to the Sandy Springs area not too long ago. 8 days ago, I came in with my baby in tow and the sweet sales associate helped me select 2 tops to try at home since I couldn't do so then, detailing the return policy. 7 days for refund, 30 days for store credit. Understood. I brought the shirts back today ($158) 24 hours after the refund deadline, apologized for the delay and asked for an exception since I am usually a good customer. The woman proceeded to look me up and down as she snootily told me "I'm the owner here and I have never seen you before." She then took the opportunity to speak to me as if I were a small child explaining her policy to me (which I obviously knew since I admitted I knew I was a day late) and how policies work. After she berated me, and after I told her I didn't appreciate being spoken to in that manner, she begrudgingly told me she would give me the credit on my AmEx, as long as "moving forward, I agree to adhere to their policy." At that point, I certainly don't want any favors from someone so rude, and after being scolded in front of other customers, all I wanted to do was leave, so I took the store credit already issued to me and drove directly to the City Walk location where I spent that credit and then some. The bottom line is this- I didn't realize that Fab'rik has franchisees and unfortunately the woman who owns this location does not value return customers. I would happily spend my money with the corporate stores, or any other franchise, but never ever (EVER) at the Perimeter Center location again. read more

This is the newest Fabrik location, and it's smaller than some of the others but very well organized. The staff are (as always) friendly and helpful when you need an artistic eye. There is the usual Fabrik flair, and a small selection of accessories and shoes in the center and in the back. I have been shopping at Fab'rik for years, but that all changed this morning. I was treated so rudely from the manager, Melissa, that I will never shop at this location again. From the moment I walked in, she was rude and had a total attitude. When I asked what shirts were not included in the $29 sale, she spoke to me as if I was a complete idiot for even asking. Then, when I went to check out to buy a top/coverup that was $29 online, she told me, "This is not $29. This is a cover up. I am NOT marking this down." I showed her that it was on sale online & she said I better buy it online then because she was NOT marking it down because it was a cover up. I get that. The price of the cover up is not my issue. My issue is the way she spoke to me, and looked at me, as if I was a complete moron. I left there shaking because she treated me so rudely; I was shocked. I called her when I left the store, and very calmly told her how rudely she treated me, and she was so incredibly condescending saying "I'm so sorry" in such a condescending way, that it made it even worse. I kept my cool, and told her that I hope she doesn't treat her other customers that way because I've never left a store feeling that way. All she kept saying was I'm so sorry in her extremely condescending tone. I get that we all have bad days, and I even said that to her, that I'm sorry if she was having a day, but that I hope she didn't treat the rest of her customers that way.
