As far as customer service, I felt a bit invisible in that store. Various support had been offered to other clients during both of my fitting room experiences and although I made contact with at least four different associates, I found myself an after thought by the Anthropologie Associates. Anthropologies still remains one of the most interesting store in the mall. The company started out in 1992 in Wayne, PA in an refurbished automotive repair shop and caters their products towards women over 30. I've always thought Anthropologies was forever 21 but for grown ups. Their stuff is eclectic and a mix of boho, beach and thrift store with a splash of rockabilly. They also have home decor, kitchen stuff and bedding. I've been a fan of their Persian-inspired clothings and accessories for years. It's super unique and you really can't find it anywhere else. I think most of their stuff is really well made for the most part. Their jewelry is super cute and they don't seem to turn my neck green even though I wear them in the scorching summer heat. The sales people here are super friendly and I've always enjoy shopping here whether just browsing or buying.... read more

My best kept secret, here at your disposal... Everything I need is right here. Clothes, shoes, purses, rings, rugs, duvets, hats, coats oh my. Anthropologie has everything that I want. I could,will, and did rack up a $1000 tab in no time. With Fall arriving I feel the need to stock my closet with plush cashmere, stylish leather boots, cute mittens and colorful scarves, all of which I found in this store. Now I have to warn you that this store is on a high end scale. A pair of knee boots are about $300+. Tops are close to $100, and unless you run into a mega-sale I doubt you will find anything in this store under $50, well maybe a pair of earrings. But at the end of the day it's all about quality. I would recommend giving this store a try. Although several of their tops aren't much of my style the dresses and accesories are to die for. read more

Gahd I love this store. I think it may be another example of how I am now 30 and can almost appreciate slightly pricier things. I have always had trouble justifying purchases here.. at least clothes and jewelry, at about 3-4x what I would actually pay. However, the candles (though some smelly), the household items, books, ornaments, decor, etc can sometimes be almost reasonable and usually make sweet gifts. In fact, the clearance/sale racks are generously discounted. Everything in this store is either beautiful, sweet, clever, endearing, useful or enjoyable, and makes you feel pretty and smart at the same time. Anthropologie is perfect for when you want to impress someone. Dating boys, take note: you will be regarded as thoughtful, "in-the-know and well endowed in the wallet area. Additionally, they're generous with their gift boxes and even give you "tie-ons" which I learned about today. The dollar store, Target and clearance section of the Outlet malls don't offer quite all that. I've deducted a star for being so darn expensive in general, but Anthro is pretty great. God I freaking love Anthropologie. I hate shopping but man do I freaking LOVE Anthropologie. When I need a cute dress, this is where I go. I am not normally a dress wearer. I am a jeans, tee, and flip-flops 4eva type of person. But when I need adult clothing for weddings or fancy dinners or whatnot, I am 100% sure that I will find something I love here. And that's a great thing to have basically a guarantee on, especially if you don't enjoy shopping. The downside? You're going to pay at least $150 for that adorable dress. Although the upside to that is that you'll likely find something great on the sale rack for half off. Generally, I stay away from the home stuff. I'm not going to pay $40 for measuring cups made in China. Clothing, I'll pay a premium for because I just want to get in and get out. Home goods? I don't need to try that shit on - buy it online. All in all, a hearty recommendation for those of us who would like to girl but don't really know how. read more

I absolutely love this store! From their clothes, accessories, to decorative crap for your apartment. Anyway this shop is ExPeNsIvE but their clothes are just beautiful, unique, and the quality is outstanding. Their dresses are just so cute!! On this occasion I hightailed it to the sales room as I didn't really want to break the bank. Most the tops on the sales section were about $40, as they were marked 50% off. I ended up picking up a few tops and the dressing room attendant was very courteous and helpful. She even looked for a top for me in a different size and gave me her honest opinion on the clothes I tried on. I was swiftly checked out at the counter and my clothes were gingerly wrapped in tissue paper. Overall, his place is great! Love the ambiance, their clothes, and service. Damn You Han L. this is now my favorite store, esp for silk blend pull-your-outfit-together dresses in fun prints and patterns. Anthro doesn't always have sales, but when they do, the pieces become fairly reasonable. The regularly priced items are def on the more expensive side, but the sale section is always worth a look. Quality of the clothing here is on the higher end too - you get what you paid for. You will find pieces you'll love to wear for a long time, and they'll last too! read more

This store is absolutely divine! I love everything about it...except the manager! She's very rude, demeaning, and doesn't know how to treat fellow employees. She immediately had a condesending attitude toward us, seemed to suspect us of stealing, and was completely rude to us right at the entrance of the store for other shoppers to witness while demanding that we open our purses and bags for her to inspect. This was after she had rung us up for a purchase and we were leaving the store. She had no reason to suspect any ill behavior on our part and certainly needs a lesson in courtesy and tact. This manager is definitely not a good representative for such a lovely store. This store deserves all 5 stars but I'm only giving 3 due to this completely out of line and rude manager. :( read more

Oh my this store is soo dangerous for me!! I rarely find something I don't fall in love with and feel like I must have right now. haha. This location is a decent size and is very clean and organized. The crew that works here is incredibly sweet and helpful. I deducted a star, though, due to limited size range. I don't know what the deal is but I can never find my size at this location and yet never have a problem at other locations. If you're a size 0, 2 or 4, you'll have no problem but anything 6 and over is harder to find. Bummer city. read more

Like the other good ladies who have commented, Anthropologie is where we would all like to shop all the time. If it were not for the high prices. But I, like the others, love checking out their sale and clearance racks, because I agree with them that the prices can be sickly (in the awesomest sense of the adverb) low. I wander into Anthropologie mostly any time I see one, which happens whenever I visit Perimeter Mall. This last trip was especially fruitful, because I was looking for a gift for someone who just had a baby. I wanted something whimsical and thought that Anthropologie would be the place to find such a thing. While the baby is still very young (newborn status), I wanted to skip out on getting blankies, fluffy stuffed animals, onesies, and other items for little humans who have just joined our world. These things come in abundance whenever a woman gives birth and being pragmatic, I wanted to get things she could use a bit later on down the road. The sale section in the right corner to the back had all the things I needed. Actually, there were too many things and I probably spent at least a half hour picking up things, then putting them back down, picking up some other things, only to put those back down and get the items I originally picked up. I ended up with a Moby Dick baby book and a pack of animal memory cards in a beautiful wooden box. This was all for about $20. I nearly jumped for joy. I should have. With all the discounts, I paid less than 50% of the original prices and got the most amazing gift box included to boot. Housewares at Anthropologie are beautiful and would make wonderful gifts. I think that if you are strategic enough to come when sales just start, you could come out almost "stealing" (but not really; let's make this clear: shoplifting is not cool, kids!) the quality pieces of clothing. I'll repeat the cliché (which is repeated over and over because of the truth that underpins the saying): You get what you pay for. And when it comes to sale and clearance items at Anthropologie, you actually get more than you pay for. Cha-ching! read more

DON'T ORDER ANTHROPOLOGIE FURNITURE ONLINE! I am HIGHLY FRUSTRATED with the POOR HANDLING of my order of the Lombok bed on July 26, 2015. After 3 months, I finally get the notification the bed is ready and I had to refuse the delivery 2x due to delivery of an incomplete bed. Anthropologie's service related to the incidents have been DISMAL. I am very dissatisfied, as I thought I was dealing with a professional business but my experience has shown that there are a LOT of process gaps in addressing customer service, or lack thereof. Anthropologie takes days (up to a week!) to respond to any inquiries. SUPER DISAPPOINTED in so many ways...... it was a beautiful bed! read more

Would have given 5 stars if the staff was nicer. Walked in the store with my younger sister and a bunch of them were all gathered. Only one of them said hello and told they had a sale. I loved everything in the store but the staff was weird. While I was walking around looking they were all watching a following me and my sister everywhere we went (we are mixed race). There were other people (white folks) there and they all were very nice to everyone else and they weren't following anyone else around. It was very weird. They kept peeping on us as if we were about to steal something. Or as if we had committed a crime. They made me feel VERY uncomfortable. They had a swell bottle and I picked it up to asked if it was the only pattern that they had and the girl I asked looked at me slightly disgusted and asked if I would like her to hold onto that (as if I was gonna run with it). I told her I was gonna get it. I made my purchase and I left. This is such a cute store with a lot of quirky stuff. Adorable. But staff is VERY WEIRD and not friendly. read more

My favorite of the atlanta anthropologie stores! Not as big as Lenox (also has less of a selection), but the associates more than make up for it with their amazing customer service. My only complaint is that they seemed under staffed at times resulting in a longer wait time at the register than usual, but the employees are always so apologetic about it. I stopped by here after lunch with a friend in the mall. I'm in a wedding in less than 2 weeks and the colors are navy blue and mustard yellow. I found a dress no problem, but seeing as the wedding is in the north of England in November, I needed something to cover my shoulders. I'd prowled Anthro's site for several weeks and finally went in yesterday. After picking out a few options and looking visibly frustrated, one of the employees stopped what she was doing and helped me out. I explained what I needed and she went in search of something that would work. She came back with several options and we settled on one that wasn't exactly the right color, but definitely wedding appropriate. I'm not the kind of shopper who usually asks for help, so I really appreciated her taking the time to hunt around the store for something. I'm not in the area often, but I'll definitely make a point of stopping back in when I'm here. read more

Anthropologie is pretty much my favorite store in the whole world (although the price points make me a bit queasy...and as a result, I usually head straight to the clearance rack to search for rare double markdowns, and then just browse the rest of the store for fun and to make mental notes of what to watch for during future clearance sales). Not only do they carry clothing and accessories that are unparalleled in beauty and quality, but their home items are perfectly unique and absolutely wonderful. This location is great; it's beautifully-furnished, has a very good selection for a smaller store, and always features window displays that are never anything short of jaw-dropping. The only things I wish it offered are shoes and a few more bath and beauty items (swimsuits would be nice, too). The employees are consistently very pleasant, knowledgeable, and friendly. The Lenox location is larger and carries more items, but I prefer the convenience and accessibility of this location (the thought of parking at Lenox is enough to make me shudder with fear). read more

Here's the deal about Anthropologie. Yes, they have cute things. I didn't like the fact that they don't have a good mix of ethnicities at this location. They don't seem to be marketing toward anyone except Caucasian women. Some of the prices are absolutely out of control. They'd make more money if they lowered some of the prices. 50 bucks for a plain t-shirt is ridiculous in my opinion. I wish they would diversify their associates is my only complaint. Also, management seems too snoobish to be bothered with customers who have questions. Get it together Perimeter location! I'll be anxious to see what the new store close to Midtown has in the way of a welcoming environment when they open in January 2011! read more
