I was tired of trading off a far drive to ktown for simple cuts and color for an affordable price and decided to look around for something comparable but closer. I'm so glad that I did! I was so sad Moi moved to another state. It took me many many years to find someone I could routinely trust my hair with again, after some bad experiences. Moi is such a genuinely sweet person. She takes time to get to know what you like and don't like. She's honest and openly communicates what she thinks will work, not work for you, and why. She will recommend more suitable suggestions, even if it means less for her. Before going to Moi, I used to be last minute about booking my hair appointments. However knowing she works by appointment only, I always scheduled my next two to three appointments before leaving her salon. She is that good! This is my first review ever. I created an account just so I can write this review! I'm always so busy and could never find the time. But with the time and effort Moi put into my hair, this was the least I could do. My good friend recommended Moi to me because finding a consistent and quality hair stylist is so difficult! I've been to many salons throughout the San Gabriel Valley and I'm telling you, no one has come close to the exceptional service that Moi provides. This was my second visit with Moi and I was more than pleased with the results. I can tell Moi was so passionate about getting my hair cut/colored the way I wanted it so she took her time and even explained what she was going to do before she even started. Then she explained throughout the process as well, making me feel comfortable. She perfected my ombre and even colored-match my eyebrows so the look could be complete! She got rid of my split ends without me having to ask and finished with beautiful curls! Beyond that, she gave me tips on how to take care and maintain the color and shine by recommending products without trying to sell her products! Her haircuts are $35 no matter the length and my hair is LONG! Thats amazing! I've recommended a few friends to her and they are just as pleased. This is my first review of Fabulous Cuts. I moved to the area about 3 months back and was in need of a haircut ASAP. I read the raving reviews and decided to give Moi a shot! My experience: -Booked an appointment in advance! The other reviews don't lie, Moi is pretty busy! I called and couldn't get an appointment until a week later. -The salon texts you the day before to confirm the appointment and explains where to park. -The hair wash was one of the best I've ever had (not done by Moi)! She's a new stylist who started this week (I'm so sorry I did not get your name)! She gave me an amazing hair wash while Moi took care of some business in the back. I've had hair washes in the past where the stylist seems rushed. Not this one! She REALLY takes her time to massage and rub the scalp, she even gently dried my ears after! It was super relaxing. -Moi was everything that I expected AND more based off these reviews. She really listens to what you want. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, described it to her, and she had no trouble recreating the cut and style! -She has a huge wealth of knowledge in the hair department and actually wants to share with you! She gave me so many tips and suggestions to improve my haircare. And she taught me how to recreate the look she gave me. -Her technique is amazing! -She's super attentive and will ask you if you would like more cut in this area and what kind of styling you would like! She even explains what she's doing and why she's doing it! -I paid 45 for the haircut which in my opinion is a COMPLETE DEAL (sadly, in the past, I've paid far more for less quality/personal service). I have been searching for a good hairstylist and found Moi through Yelp. I have been going to her salon for four years now. When I decided to move to Texas, I was so sad that I had to find a new hairstylist. A couple of months later, she told me she was also moving to Texas, and I couldn't be happier. She is a professional and very skilled, I go to her for all my touch-ups and hair cuts. She takes her time with each client and making sure everyone leaves the salon looking and feeling their best. I read the reviews and looked at the photos people posted and thought that this place seems like a good place to go to get my hair cut. I scheduled an appointment with them the day before and came the next day. Moi is the stylist that cut my hair and she did a wonderful job. She's also very nice, and gave me some hair tips about my hair. She showed me how I should cut my bangs and recommended me some hair products that would help my hair. I showed her a picture of the style of hair I wanted and she immediately knew what I wanted and got to work with it. Moi is patient and listens to what you want, and does a great job of it. I'm a kinda person that never find the right hair stylist for my cut and color. But Moi was very patient, super nice, and super real and guided me to find the right hair cut and color. And I'm the kind that's very indecisive about what exactly I want because I know that magazine pictures always look better than on me, being Chinese. The first day I went, she gave me the highlights I thought I wanted, but it turned out too light the next day. I called her the next day and she told me to come right in with no hesitation and did it for free even thought it wasn't even her fault. She's great because she really cares about what the CUSTOMER WANTS, not what she wants. She kept saying "I want you to be happy, if you're happy with it, I'm happy with it." Which tells me a lot about her passion in the hair styling field with over 10 years experience. She care's about the customer, not just collecting the money. Highly recommended. read more

It is worth driving 45 miles ! Moi is friendly and her customer service is important to her. She treats me with respect and kindness All the time. Place is very neat and clean . She also cares that each customer gets cleaned sanitized Comb every time . You can imagine how many combs she goes through in a day. I literally called her that day and I was lucky enough where a client had just cancelled on her. She typically doesn't take walk-ins. She was SOOOO nice. She even tells you how to take care of your hair. She did a deep conditioning for me (without me asking!) AND she curled my hair at the end of the appointment because I told her I was going on a date. She went above and beyond what she was supposed to do. I absolutely recommend her. I guess the onlly con I would say is that the salon is not very fancy. But for $40 (cut + tip), it's SO worth it. read more
