I just have no words that's my review, it was a lack of experience and communication, I believe in over communicating but listening is equally important. I believe teaching people in these moments are important because I could have said everything was great and you cannot learn from that but receiving harsh feedback is critical to growth, I'm not posting pictures because I have moved past it but will not visit again.it was a $400 mistake. The only two options is to let it grow out in two years or go color correct. I asked for a money piece and got a one color look and even after I went back to fix it they doubled down and was worst. My stylist was McKenna and her boss was no better. And first time I've gone to a salon over a barber. I was a little intimidated! But Addy helped me build a daily routine, explained what each product does, and gave me insights into my hair type. I'm honestly impressed that I was able to show her a random pic from Google of what I wanted, and she was able to make it happen. Courtni is an absolute gem! As someone with thick hair, finding a stylist who knows how to handle it properly can be challenging, but she knew exactly what to do. I got my hair cut and colored by her. I got Babylights - she took the time to understand exactly what color I was going for and delivered it perfectly. What makes Courtni stand out even more is her wonderful personality. She's super sweet and made the whole experience enjoyable. You can tell she's very experienced and passionate about her work. I cannot recommend Cayla enough to whoever is reading this! She is kind, caring, fun. Oh and shes amazing at hair! If she moves I will move with her. I've been seeing Cayla for 2 years now & I am always so excited to see her. I don't have many friends in the area, so I feel like I'm having quality girl time while my hair is being done! It's like a paid best friend. I once had an appointment right after a break up and she respected me wanting to be pretty quiet & was there for me during that, too. Conversations flow really well & she remembers a ton about what we've talked about from the last appointment. It's really sweet & makes me feel cared about! We've done a few things with my hair together, and every time is better then the last! We mainly do balayage on my brunette hair & once did a darker brown. She knows what she's doing & considers the health of your hair while doing so. My latest appointment was last Saturday and based off my info pic, she suggested we gradually get to that stage for the health of my hair. My experience here was unfortunately less than glamorous. It was my first time at the salon and I made an apt in advance. When I showed up no one was there to greet me, no big deal. I sat down with my stylist and he COMPLAINED about how much hair I had and how much work it was going to be. I even asked him if he was up for the challenge... I wanted to leave then and there but I figured I was just nervous so I stayed. I am not exaggerating when I say I was there for 7 LONG HOURS! SEVEN HOURS! Why? Because my stylist overbooked himself so he kept bouncing from client to client. His kids and wife were there waiting for him, it just made the experience less than personal, unique or even luxurious like they claim to be. Thankfully my hair did look fine after the correction but oh man I can't even think about coming back. UPDATE: it's been 3 weeks and my hair is orange/yellow the growth looks terrible Estevan does not know his blondes... I've been getting my hair done by Kellen for 3+ years now. I've seen a few other stylist and they can never seem to get my highlights and cut to turn out just quite right. With Kellen I'm always absolutely obsessed with the results. He does an amazing job every time with my highlights and cut. He's always friendly and is very knowledgeable. I'm so happy to have found him a few years ago! I don't trust anyone else to do my hair. His reliable and amazing talent is evident in the time he takes to do my hair and in the questions he ask. *Please educate yourself on how the art of hair coloration works!!! You can't expect immediate results if you're totally changing colors lol... and if you expect it the first time, you probably have damaged hair! Don't worry, I was guilty of this too at one point in my life. Ask questions about the process! Educate yourself instead of bashing these stylists and effecting their livelihood. I'm a blond and I did not get here over night! It's took months of seeing the same stylist and trusting the process. Also, hair is unique!! Everyone's process and processing time is different. I requested platinum highlights so he dyed my hair darker and did no highlights. Following 3 sessions - he was late as well each time - we lightened and lightened.
