There was a time when I had monthly facials and really enjoyed the experience and thought I was doing some long term good for my face. Therese takes this to an entirely new level. Her location is just off the main drag of Pacific Grove, so one can easily make a day of this from anywhere in the Bay Area. I had no problem finding all kinds of shopping opportunities populated by things I don't ordinarily see or find in SF. Back to Therese: The suite she has is very calming, clean, and reflects the owner. Therese is not only beautiful on the outside, but inside, as well. She is a professional that has many years of experience and meets the client's unique skin needs. You are kept perfectly warm and massage keeps your upper back and shoulders quite relaxed. her table can adjust to support any client's frame. I got up without the usual back strain from being kept in a lying position for over an hour. The facial was fantastic! The smells were heaenly and she did NOT push product! That was a first for me! Went to owner for waxing for the past 15 yrs, same schedule every 3 weeks Saturday same time. Past 5 years I was going only out of fear of starting with someone else after being with her so long...her communication skills were lacking, several appointments were missed or moved with no call ahead id show up and be told I was mistaken. After a very unprofessional encounter I called it quits. She was good at her job but the rude comments and unprofessional communication was it for me. read more

I just had my first facial with Therese and it was absolutely FABULOUS. I've had a hard time finding an esthetician that I wanted to go back to on a regular basis. After travelling to France some years ago and having facials there, I've always compared my facials to the detail and massage technique that they use. Being trained in the European technique is very different than what I've had here in the states. UNTIL, my appointment with Therese! I don't usually write reviews but I am so happy to have found someone that uses the same technique and massage technique as the facials I've had in France! I love the product line Therese uses, I love the location in Pacific Grove as it's right downtown, and love her and her salon. One visit and I was hooked. This is a facial unlike any other I've ever received. Towards the end of the treatment, Therese gives you a vigorous face massage that leaves your skin positively glowing (she says she was trained by an amazing Polish aesthetician). I couldn't get over how clean and amazing my skin looked afterwards. Therese recommended an appointment every 4 weeks to sluff off the dead skin.
