Wow! I am shocked at these reviews. My experiences - all of them - have been lovely! I love all the ladies that work there. I have been with them since they opened and, without fail, I look there first when I need ANYTHING from clothing to housewares to gifts. They are particular about what they accept and I like that! I don't want shoes that have someone else's pronation ground into the heels or clothes that are worn or stained. I feel like I am in a boutique every time yet appreciate that I am not paying those sorts of prices. I have gotten amazing deals on quality leather bags, stunning leather boots, all manner of clothing, jewelry, furniture, linens, you name it. I suggest you refrain from forming any judgment based on these reviews, go in, and make your own assessment. I adore Fabulous Finds. Yes, their prices are higher than Goodwill. For. Good. Reason. If you want yard sale prices, hit the yard sales and thrift stores. Or, hit their outlet in Gunbarrel for deeply discounted material. As a Chamber member, I am well aware of this business. It opened in late April. In seven months they have generated almost 1/2 million dollars in gross sales. Recently the National Convention for Resale was held in Denver. The president of the National Association of Resale Professionals visited the shop. She said that in her 40 years of working with thrift and consignment shops, she had NEVER seen a more attractive, inviting, and inspiring store. She had no suggestions for improvements. Recently the owners requested the services of a merchandiser. The meeting was short and sweet. She said, "What do you need me for?" The customer base is 75% word of mouth --- and growing. Earlier this month, they were bestowed the honor of "Rookie (less than two years) Business of the Year" by the Longmont Chamber of Commerce.THEY HAD BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR 6 MONTHS. They have been named one of the top female owned businesses in Boulder County in 6 MONTHS. They are 100% female owned (not 51% like most of the others). This is not just any business, and fortunately the local business community has voted and verified that it is top notch. Success breeds success. How about another one? read more

I love FF!! I can't believe that people feel like they are not welcomed at this store. Yes every consignment store has it's own "aura" but this own is just FUN!! They have events with helpful speakers and celebrations with treats and drinks monthly. You don't get that at other consignment shops! There sales are simply amazing. Yes they are somewhat picky at what they take. I have been denied but never rudely and always with a good reason. I mean they have only so much space and know what they can sell. I think the store is a direct reflection of Longmont... who is here and what they shop for. If you think some of the wares are dated... take a look around. Some of the older gals need to shop too. I feel like they have a wide range of goods for all kinds of shoppers. I think someone out there has some kind of vendetta going against all the positive energy this store emanates. Yesterday, I was in Boulder at several women's consignment shops and nowhere did I receive the respect and courteousness of the wonderful staff at Fabulous Finds. In fact, in two stores, I was not even greeted, until I left the store and heard a half-hearted, "hanks for coming in". I was reading previous reviews and whomever the person is that said they were looked down their noses at by the staff must be in some other store! Those women are hard working and I have NEVER had any sort of experience there that mimics that at all. You might think I am a great customer and that might be why I get great service, but in fact, MOST times I go into the store, I don't buy a thing! Still the best customer service around! Check it out for yourself, DON"T rely on comments from anyone who can post here. This store in a gem! It is my "go to" place to find excellent items at affordable prices. I find the staff to be very friendly and helpful if you ask but, I like that they will let you quietly shop without being overly attentive. There's a sizable selection so I like to take my time looking carefully. The displays are lovely! Don't be afraid to ask them to get something that's out of reach. I never want to trouble them to take something from a display but they are always very friendly and willing. They do have regulars they seem to know well. Longmont is still quite a small town! It doesn't bother me if I'm less "known" even though I go there a lot. If I wanted to get more friendly with the staff then I'd take the intitative. They are always willing to help if I need it. I think the consignment rules are fair and standard. Certainly if I'm having trouble finding my items they help out if needed. I would very much recommend it! read more

Fabulous Finds has been Fabulous for me. I am willing to pay $20 for a blouse with the tags on it that was originally $42. Everything I have purchased has been clean, in excellent shape and worth the money it cost. I consigned items once and was impressed with how they went carefully over every item and explained why they did not take the items they said "no" to. I made a few bucks. You can also get fifty percent credit in the store rather than 40% of the sale price. I have purchased something from every department and have always been most happy. Fabulous Finds is a "must do" whenever we have out of town guests.. I have always found the Lovely Ladies assisting me at F.F. to be personable, helpful and fun. Maybe that is because I am of a "certain age". Maybe it is because I am friendly, too! read more

I have almost always purchased things second hand for more than 20 years ...and this is the place for class. No digging necessary it has been organized to be found easily. The staff is more than willing to help you find & give suggestions if you need. I know every 2nd hand store in the county and some in Denver and in my travels I have never found a place with more high quality things than this one! And, they have fun events with free wine too!!! ...does it get any better? ....Rookie Business of the Year for a very good reason! When your in next, ask them when there next event is or about their Birthday recognition program, where they celebrate your Birthday month and offer all clients born in that month a special deal & a cocktail! Even though I don't buy a lot (just because I am not the shopping kind of person) at Fabulous Finds I find myself going back to that store. I find the atmosphere very relaxing and the stuff very helpful and knowledgeable. I have always been treated with respect and everybody is very friendly. I believe not matter how old you are you can find what you are looking for in there. Even my daughter who believed that there would never be anything in there for her came back with clothes a couple of times. Since I never had a bad experience with that store I am a little shocked when reading other reviews. Please, just go and try it for yourself. Fabulous Finds is amazing. I can't seem to find anyone who doesn't know about it! The word is spreading fast - Fabulous Finds is fun, glamor, and beautiful! Jill and Clarissa have created a store with an atmosphere of girlish-fun and professional courtesy. If you want to really know what an amazing place this is - go visit! Ask around! absolutely disgusting customer service. my mother walked into the store and the owner behind the counter did not even bother to greet my mother hello but says to her"ugh you smoke, i smell it" not only did she say something so audacious to a paying customer but then proceeded to pound her hands on the table and tell my mother to hurry up because her husband wants to leave. just disgusting i don't know who that woman thinks the f*** she is hope her buisness rots to the ground for how incredibly rude she is to people who are paying her! read more

Know your designer labels and their authenticity proving characteristics if you plan to purchase a higher end type item here. Either the store's authenticity staff is on a permanent vacation or management is ok peddling counterfeit goods. Fake gucci, louboutin, and burberry were in abundance last time I was here, ironically all ridiculously over priced. If you're looking for wardrobe staples from places like Anne Taylor, Talbots, and the other mall standards you're in safe hands. read more

This is the best consignment store I have ever seen. I shop here and consign on a regular basis. I have found the owners of this store to be honest, organized and very thoughtful in their business dealings. They are true professionals in every way. The high quality and wonderful way they organize the store will keep me coming back. This store is a great asset to the Longmont community. This store is an absolute treasure. A woman can come here, relax, shop, BE WAITED ON, enjoy a higher end quality of clothes and accessories, and also have a fair range of re-sale prices.
