not really happy the last couple times I went there it seems like they're in a rush in a hurry and I spent 3 hours there went the last time I went only for my nails to start lifting up at the bottom where the base of my nail starts less than a week later. there is such a thing as being too busy to do a good job. And as far as that goes, I don't think at this point in time it's worth me driving the extra 10 minutes with a total of 25 minutes just for this because this? Looks bad. Not fabulous nails. Had an appointment set up for me and my daughter for pedicures. They set us up with feet in the water. After 30 mins my daughter is almost done and they haven't even started mine ( 3 other workers were sitting and just talking during this time ) I finally said to the gal that I need to get the regular pedicure because we had to be somewhere and needed a quicker job. She said I couldn't because they already put the smelly stuff in my water ( I'm sure it cost them .25 cents ) so they hurried and got one of the other girls to do it. They said they thought I just wanted to relax. Why would we get appointments for the same time and I just want to relax an extra 30 plus minutes ? So the gal that did my feet was nice and did an ok job but they scrambled so fast to get mine done that the quality was not there. Price was higher than most and then when we check out they only take cash unless they add 4% on ( don't quote me on that but it was 3 or 4%) My daughter's pedicure was unimpressive as well. LOVE Fabulous Nails. I actually go there for eyelash extensions. I know, eyelashes at a nail salon? I thought so too. But no, they're AMAZEBALLS. They are so fast and SO GOOD at lashes it's insane. The extensions are single lashes, individually glued to every one of your lashes. She doesn't limit how many lashes you get (like some places do). She also knows exactly what lengths to put where to give your eyes a really awesome look. And she is SO FAST. 45 minutes or under. And the price? $65 for a full set, $30 for a fill. What!? I KNOW! Most lash places charge like $200+. Trust me, these are the real deal, high quality lashes, high quality service. I go about 3-4 weeks between fills. This place is a hidden gem in Salt Lake. As for the nail salon, I've spent a fair amount of time waiting (when I've arrived early), and I can say that they're very good about cleaning the pedicure tubs and filters/drains between each client (you almost never know when you first walk into a place), and using new tools. The price for a pedicure is great. I've had various people do my nails and all but one have been very good. The one that wasn't it seemed like she didn't see well, so the paint was a little messy. Today I had the young man. He was very meticulous and did a great job. The massage was my favorite part. read more

I got a manicure from Son. He was fantastic. Not only was his hand/arm massage extremely relaxing but he covered my entire nail with nail polish! Most places I have to ask them to get the corner but he did it relight the first time with out me asking. My nails look beautiful and glossy. read more

I am very unsatisfied with this nail salon and my manicure. I went with sns nails and am just so so about how they turned out. Everything that the woman did felt very rushed and like she didn't have anytime to make sure they turned out nice. She actually ended up cutting my skin with the file and made me bleed quite a bit. I worry that my finger will get infected. I would not recommend going here again. read more

This was a major disappointment. I initially picked this salon since it was close to my house and the reviews said it was very sanitary. I will give them 5 stars for sanitation but that's about all they have going for them. I called ahead to make an appointment and they said come in 20 minutes. Since I have a newborn baby at home, it's a great effort to me to get out and an appointment was crucial so I could get back home quickly. When we walked in they immediately seated us and prepped for our pedicures, yet didn't start them. However about 15 minutes after we got there a "regular" walked in and they took her over us. We sat there for 30 minutes and by that time the salon was closed! No one apologized or explained their reasoning. We ended up just walking out. It was a HUGE waste of time and a disappointment. I requested dipping powder nails which I have done in California for several years. I was told this was dipping powder, but better than what I have been getting. Not dipping powder at all, but shellac or gel with a coat of powder. Not the same!!! Whatever they put on my nails lifted and cracked after a couple days. Real dipping powder should last several weeks, no cracking chipping or lifting. They also advertise dipping nails for $25 and I was charged $35. They were very nice, but do not getting dipping powder nails!!! Not authentic dipping powder and whatever it is they call dipping powder sucks!!!!!!! read more

I went in for a shellac and a pedicure right before leaving for my vacation to Europe. I wanted to try this place since they advertise their pedicures for $20 and they are close to my home. The salon had two different technicians work on me since I was the only one at the salon at the time I walked in. The technician who did the shellac on my hands did a horrible job (she seemed to be the manager or even the owner). I've been to other salons where they do the shellac properly and the shellac doesn't start peeling off my nails until after 2 weeks. Well, this one started peeling off on the second day (!) and I couldn't come back to the salon to complain about it since I was already traveling. I was so mad I ended up just peeling all the shellac off so my nails would not look ugly on my vacation pictures. The pedicure was okay, I've had better pedicures somewhere else though. So due to the horrendous experience with my shellac, I'm not coming back to this salon and would not recommend it to anyone else. read more

My daughter (she's 9) and I went for mani/pedis yesterday. This was our first time at this salon. We loved it! The ladies were so friendly and attentive, and took their time. They were really good with my daughter and gave her a choice of free nail art. The price was low for what we got. I definitely recommend upgrading to the package with the hot stone massage. It was also very clean and sterile. They had liners for the foot tubs and took their tools from sealed packages. read more

This place is AWESOME! Lena saved my nails after I had gone to a place that claimed they were using shellac but they were using a no soak off gel. My nails were very damaged and Lena nursed them back to healthy strong nails! I look forward to my appointments here and always have a good laugh with this VERY friendly and caring staff!
