So I just walked into the location I wanted and asked for a full body wax, the young lady at the counter, sorry forgot your name lovely lady, was so sweet and helpful and worked very hard to get me the services I would "settle" for. Which was full back and full Brazilian. And although I did have to wait a couple of hours I was very happy they could accommodate me on a Sunday! So while I waited I booked the rest of what I needed done. My Esthetician was Jasmin (sp?) and she was a pro from start to finish! I'm not sure how long she been waxing, but her level of skill says eons! She went over every section THREE times to make sure no hair was left behind and I left out of there silky smooth. The next day was exactly the same! From the moment you walk in you feel relaxed with good music playing, receptionists that great you with real smiles and cool A/C going, and in 100+degree temps that's heaven sent! The salon and waxing rooms are so clean I almost couldn't believe they actually waxed in them! I've been getting brazilians done for about 5 years now and this is by far the best one I've ever had. She uses the best grade of hard wax I've ever seen. In the past I've been to other salons that use hard wax but only put a thin layer on. Therefore when they pull it off, it breaks on your skin and they have to keep picking it back up again. If you can imagine, it's very painful. Because cyndi uses such high quality wax in conjunction with the fact that she puts a thicker layer on your skin, it comes off in one piece which is MUCH less painful and so much faster. Nicole is the esthetician who runs her business inside of the Reserve Salon & Spa, which is what you will find when you pull up the address in google maps. This business is within the Towne Lake Shopping center square and Cypress Wax Spa is located on the second floor in Room # 4. There is a very friendly receptionist when you enter from the 2nd floor, and numbers are posted outside of the Rooms/Suites. I was 10 minutes late because it was a bit unclear where the actual spa was located , but it was not a stressful experience because everyone was so friendly and helpful. Nicole's station is immaculate, organized, and clean, and she is clearly well educated in her field, utilizing first class products. It was the most painless experience I've ever had, and she employs a plethora of organic and natural oils throughout the entire process. For my wax she did a quick refresh over my bikini area using jasmine cleansers and lavender oils, and then she communicated ingredients in what she was using when as she applied the product. She used both soft and hard wax, and walked me through her process every step of the way. What I really appreciated was her telling me when I would expect a more intense sensation during the waxing and when to breathe out since it had been a while due to being traumatized a few months back. She was consistently gentle in her approach and skill. Her communication skills were excellent. She did upsell me during my wax, but her pricing is extremely reasonable and the results are amazing. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes when your esthetician is well versed in her craft and takes true pleasure in educating her clientele during the process. I was in the hands of a true professional, and I even went in for letting her use a high-frequency tool post waxing to reduce the breakout in a few spots caused by an ingrown hairs.
