Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of this place, the location is a bit sketchy. I had a few broken nails and needed a desperate fix, it was late and this place was the only one that was open. I originally went in only to remove my old acrylic nails but the gentleman helping me was so kind, honest, and friendly I decided to go ahead and get a gel manicure. He was FAST as heck, they turned out beautiful, and was cheapppp. I'm super impressed by this place. I haven't gotten any other service there yet but I will definitely be back. WOW! First time here and this mom was overdue for a pedicure. Inside is so nice and clean. Lee attended me and wooowwww she did such a good job! I got the citrus pedicure and it was just right for me. The smells, scrub, hot stones amazing! I will definitely try this place again. read more

First off the pedicure was great. No issues there. But I came in for a refill. The guy that did my refill did not do a great job. He first didn't take off the entire previous color. Causing my nail to be extremely thick. I mentioned this. He then just used the grinder to thin out the previous layer underneath... which in turn got rid of my natural nail. He flooded my cuticle. Didn't grid off the extra. So now the acrylic is over my cuticle. Not to mention he really hit my skin on some fingers cause more scabs than usual. My hands burned when I showered. One of my nails look crooked I expressed this. And it wasn't fixed . I have learned my lesson on trying new places. I will stick with driving 30 minutes to my old place to avoid this. My cuticles hurt. And this usually never happens. read more

Okay so when I walked in it was 2 ladies who spoke their language to each other and attempted to guess what I want. The one thing I dislike about living in Houston is the language barrier, cuz in this case nobody understood what I wanted. I told her the colors I wanted and the style and I showed pics. It was a lady working on my manicure and one working on my pedicure. I've never had a gel pedicure and manicure and not know what it requires. I asked for a basic pedicure and basic manicure and she used a white machine & says "It helps dry fast" so I'm clueless that they're using gel polish on my nails. I asked for a basic manicure and basic pink and white pedicure and they charged me $85 when I wanted to spend $55 for both. They talk fast, they start working fast on you and that's how they get you. Next thing you know you get stuck with something you don't want and you've overpaid for it. She also had to paint my toes like 3 different times cuz she couldn't get the color right. I wanted longer nails and she just gave me a pink overlay and claimed it was $45.... These people are pure scammers and it's no other way around it. Please be careful and be clear about what you want cuz they'll get you. read more

Really disappointed with the service I received here. After my tech misunderstood what I requested she had to remove a nail. Afterwards she abruptly left and never returned. I can't make this up, I was so embarrassed that she treated me this way mind you there's only about 2 other customers and about 4 workers loud talking and laughing. Which made me uncomfortable but I still waited bc I was sure she would return I was polite as that's how I am no matter where go. Well 30 minutes later I get up and see she's working on someone new at the front. I'm upset and embarrassed but instead of causing a commotion I pay and leave- no apology or help from the owners who are sitting in front as well faces glued to their phone only waiting to be paid. They never really have clients here, literally, so it seemed like an ideal spot to get in and out but the atmosphere is unwelcoming and the techs aren't friendly. Well it makes sense now why they don't have business maybe there's some type of side hustle going on bc how are they still running? Anywho, I won't be returning there. Absolutely love Tina she is amazing! Love her work every time. I used to go to Beauty Zone and the gel would always peel off within the first week but here, I wore them for a whole 2 weeks without any cracking, chips or peeling! They offer 20% off Monday through Wednesday, and you get a little stamp card and when you fill it up you get $20 off your next visit. The salon is always clean and they have very comfortable pedicure chairs. I've gotten my lashes done at two places- Amazing lash studio, and here. Amazing lash studios person was eating chips above my head the entire time and gave me some super dramatic lashes when I had asked for some natural ones. At diamond, I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted and I got exactly what I asked for. Took me a nice little nap and woke up super happy about my lashes. Worth every penny. I use to go to this place all the time since it's super close by. My last three sessions, my nails came off after a week each time. So I took a break from them. Decided to go back to give them another chance since I really like the husband and wife there. I came in asking for glitter powder tips which I'll add to this review. I showed the tech the picture and looked at what they had, I didn't find it so I asked the tech if he had something similar that maybe wasn't on the swatches. The tech didn't even want to help me find what I was looking for, he got frustrated with me and threw all their swatches on the table and told me to look again and this is all they have. I told him I didn't see the type of glitter I wanted and said I typically get the same color when I use to come there, I knew the number of the powder and asked if they had it. He said idk what you're talking about and that they threw all their previous stock away. It's one thing to explain in a calm manner but when you're rolling your eyes and talking to me like I'm an idiot, I can't deal. I told him never mind, I'll go somewhere else. He said okay, bye with attitude. This all happened in front of the owner and his client. It was very embarrassing and I will continue to go out of my way to anothe salon. Ask to see their Nail Tech certification, because I doubt the 2 guys who did my nails have it. I experienced poor customer service due to negligence, unsanitary practice, and cheap looking nails. I have been here a couple of times and normally had good service, but this was the first time I went by myself and received bad services from unfamiliar faces. They probably thought I was a naive teenage girl instead of a law student who gets her nails done regularly. First, the guy doing my pedicure caused the cuticle on my big toe to bleed, asked me if it hurt( I said yes) and continued to dig at it. Now the guy doing my manicure was worse. I asked him to reshape my nails oval and some came out looking round and others almond shaped. I had to tell him how to file them to make it look similar. He continued to mess up my nail, so he took out a picture of different nail shapes so he can look to make sure it's the same. After he filed and buffed my nails, he DID NOT CLEAN OFF the nail dust. Instead, he put on a layer of nail polish. 1. That would make my nails rough and 2. Now there are nail particles on the applicator and the bottle is UNSANITARY. I had to correct him to clean my nails with alcohol. At this point I'm over it, so I let him continue because I just want to be done and leave. As he applies the nail polish he says "there's a black spot do you want me to redo it" WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT. Is this place 20% off because they want customers or is it because they are not real licensed nail techs? DO NOT GO HERE. Go to a REAL nail tech. One that will treat all their customers properly. read more

The owners are VERY RUDE . When I was paying, I questioned the policy on how many stamps I would receive for spending 50 dollars. He raised his voice and rudely told me, "I'm the owner and I make the rules", and he walked off. Owner claimed they were having issues with the nail tech that took care of me but I told her that is between them and he shouldn't be rude to the customer. This used to be a 5 star establishment when it first opened! I loved the service and my nails always lasted a long time! Mary is the best!!! However the ownership switched sometime this year. The new managers are rude and don't have manners and some of their new nail techs Rush through your manicure and damage your nails (make sure to ask for the right nail tech). They treat you on the way you tip and give pricing different depending on who you are (I've seen the managers over charge non English speaking customers). They only offer some of their customers beverages not everyone either so a bit of discrimination coming from the managers. I continue coming here because of Mary she's super kind and has been around since the salon opened and does a great great job and I just tolerate the managers. read more

Usually I would give them a better review but The manger and his wife have HORRIBLE customer service and are very RUDE people. I use to go to this nail shop every 2-3weeks faithfully for 1yr 1/2. The manager screamed at me and told me not to come back because he and another nail tech had a disagreement about the price of my nails. He was upset the nail tech didn't charge me more money then he did. I got a full set and pedicure. He and his wife wanted to charge me $40+ and I wasn't even getting gel nails and they weren't long. They don't have a set price on their nail sets, everyone charge different prices. His wife even said " I told him what to charge you". Why would you be telling him to charge me anything when you're not even doing my nails. Overall I am very disappointed in the way they handled things and would appreciate if someone would contact me about this problem. read more
