Lust for Lashes not only have some wonderful experiences but also wonderful people who work here. Michelle, the owner, has been hands on but also working hard to give the best experience. You will get the most beautiful lash extensions that look real and make everyone wonder what mascara you're using cause it looks too good. Like I said, I've been going to Lush for Lashes for a long time... back when they're in a tiny little historical room on Queen St. Now in a gorgeous open and serene new place on Dundas, it helps to curate that calm environment where you can relax. Unlike other places where the music is popping and there is a buzz of energy from gossip, this is about creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. Some people do talk ... but often there is a soft background beat and focused lash artists creating their magic. I've been to at least 5 different artists and I can safely say that 2 of them are just otherworldly excellent with the rest being very very good for lashes. You will look instantly a better, more awake, and more glam version of yourself. You will have stunning yet natural lashes that easily last 3 weeks. One thing I do love is that they do customize the design to what you like... cat eye (more glam and winged), doll eye (more centred and more natural)... and then you have the option of full sets and partials as well. I usually get the full set doll eye for every day and when I know a big event is coming up, I go a little more and get a full cat eye. Everyone always think I have gorgeous full lashes now. If there is one magic item in my kit to elevate my look every day, it's my appointment for Lush for Lashes. The lash artists here are wonderful, on time (always), and you will look like a million bucks but it doesnt cost it.

They do have you come in for a consultation just to make sure the lashes were put on correctly, but they were kind enough to note in my profile that I'm a regular so I won't need consultations anymore (amazing). Yana did my lashes, and she was super attentive to what I wanted and the lashes came out fluffy and full-- she was also super fast which means she knows how to put together the lashes quickly with experience. However, normally my local lash artist usually can tell what kind of curl and length my lashes are, but Yana wasn't able to so the lashes didn't match the current curl to the ones I had. But I should have also mentioned they were D curls instead of C curls. Anyway-- it still looked fabulous.

She ensured that my ask (fluffy volume) for my thin brittle lashes can be supported by very light weight lashes to maximize the lifetime of my extensions. Irene, the owner, greeted me warmly and led me into the procedure room where I was met by the sounds of cool Jazz (Irene's a fan) and a super soft treatment table. We discussed options, my physical limitations (hooded eyelids and glasses) and the look that I wanted (full cat eye). The procedure was quick (20-30 minutes). Since I was a newbie, Irene talked me through the entire procedure. At the end Irene added a few more lashes to perfect the look, she is meticulous and gentle. I've tried strip lashes before and they were heavy and uncomfortable, I didn't enjoy them at all. My experience with the Cinderella lashes are a totally different story. They're so light, sometimes I forget that I'm even wearing them. Irene did an excellent job getting me the look that I wanted. I would definitely consider coming back and having it done for special occasions like weddings or other occasions.

These are synthetic mink lashes, and I wasn't sure what to expect. I got the mini set, which took about 50 minutes. Took a little nap. After I was done, my eye felt a tiny bit heavy, but felt very natural. I took care of the lashes as instructed by Irene for the first week and half and then I slacked off. Most of the lashes lasted about 2 weeks. I still have a few after 4 weeks. I was worried that more of my natural lashes would fall out than usual, but it was pretty natural. Couple things to consider: It's spring, and some days I wake up with puffy eyes (allergies). So when my lids are puffy, the root of the synthetic lashes dig in a little (they are a tad stiff) I had to pluck out a few lashed because of this. A couple time the synthetic lashes fell in my eye. And getting a regular lash in your eye is bad enough; a thick, synthetic lash is VERY annoying. I don't think I will do this regularly, but I'll certainly come back to Irene when I get t done agian.

I checked her website and liked the fact that "Girls'n Lashes" was not a salon, but ONLY specialized in lashes! Natalia has a passion for ONLY eyelash extensions. I purchased a Groupon for a full set plus a fill in. I called her and she quickly called me back and we easily made the appointment for my first set of full lashes. I was quite eager to get in, as most women would understand, losing your hair can be distressing, and I was booked in, no problem, and my fill in was booked 2 weeks later. Natalia was not only beautiful, (not that that should matter), but kind, courteous, polite, friendly and professional. She was very sympathetic and understanding about my hair loss and was certain that she could help me. "Girls'n Lashes" was clean and cute and just perfect. Natalia kindly explained what the experience would be like and feel like, being a first timer. She provided such a relaxing environment with quiet and calming music. She was so very gentle with the application of the lashes. She has such a gentle touch! I even think I may have fallen asleep at one point I was that relaxed! (You lay down with your eyes closed during the entire application process). The full set came with I think 40 or 50 lashes per eye and she said I could buy extra if I wanted them. But when I got up to look in the mirror, I had a BEAUTIFUL set of gorgeous, full, natural looking lashes!!! I did not need to purchase any more!! She even put the extra ones on the end that are supposed to be called "wing-tips" that make you look extra flirty when you bat your eyelashes!! They are stunning!!! And with THESE LASHES you don't even NEED to wear mascara!!! Please understand ladies who are all reading this and possible customers of "Girls'n Lashes" and of Natalia, they are not the oversized, "spider" looking, false looking lashes! Operates from a small room in a beauty salon owned by someone else. Shes very brief. The lashes look beautiful as soon as she applies them on me, I took very good care of my lashes however more lashes fell out than I would have liked within the first week. This problem repeated itself for many weeks and I started to feel like either the glue wasnt strong enough or she wasnt applying glue to the very tip of the lash or close enough to the lash line. I understand the glue shouldnt come into contact with the skin but I could feel the gap between the lash line and the lash. I can feel the top of the lash stick out as it was starting to come off. It irritated my eyes and was too much to maintain over time so I stopped going to get lashes all together. Her attitude when I came for 50$ refills was awful. Its not my fault more lashes were lost than I would have liked even when I took utmost care of it. She was frustrated and almost seemed angry at me. She admitted that if she didnt like a client she would stop calling or picking up their calls, and thats exactly what happened to me. She also likes to gossip and tell me stories about her other clients... so I can see thats exactly what might be happening behind my back. She sends off a snobby/condescending vibe and always likes to talk about her designer handbags. Her daughter on the other hand was extremely friendly. Unfortunately she was pregnant at the time so I couldnt get very many appointments with her daughter. I would definitely recommend her, she's really sweet and when I went to her the lashes seemed to have stayed on a little longer than when her mother did it which says something. The reason why Im giving this place 2 stars and not 1 is because of the daughter and the one time I went to her to get my lashes done. Will not be going here again, opted to stick to my natural lashes regardless of how long it takes to do my lashes in the morning. Lash extensions are just not for me, they weighed my lashes down and it seemed like there wasnt enough curl. They did kind of make my lashes lose volume and near the end I did not have many lashes however within months of moisturizing and conditioning my lashes with oil and vasilene before bed, I fixed the issue. Also saved some money. But thats not the reason why I am giving 2 stars, its just the service. I definitely recommend the daughter.

I'm a little indecisive and often let my technician just give me the lashes that work best for my face and event, but I felt like Jinny would be better for someone who knows what they want vs. someone who wants an expert opinion.

The original reason for leaving Keiko was because she was getting more busy and the job got a tad sloppier, although for the price she was definitely more affordable. I tried the 3D volume lashes here at Divine lashes and had them for 3 weeks before I had a refill. They stayed on great and lash separation was amazing, (sometimes stylists clump two lashes together). If you take care of them properly(wash them, comb, blow dry cool) they'll last you a lot longer. I opt to go for the natural flair with C curl. My stylist was great, we have a consultation first and she explained to me my maximum length (30% more than my original lashes) would provide me with the longest wear. She was very carefully in understand what look I wanted and told me we could keep changing it as we go on, which I did upon my refill. I decided to try the D curl this time, which was more curly and made my eyes pop more. The facility is small, but clean, and professional. The little things I notice them do that drives them over the top for me is that they carefully clean your lashes before application, provide you with eyelash soap, and keep track of your eyelash status. I typically have more lashes on my right eye and she would try to match it up with my left so that both sides looked even.I highly recommend coming here if your budget allows for it.
