I have never seen/experienced such a poor quality application! The "volume set" that I had done took approximately 1 h and 20 min to complete, so that should say something already. Even with the most experienced lash extension artist volume sets take a minimum of 2 h to complete. The quality of the application is horrible. Inner eye lashes not filled at all, "fans" look like clutter of eyelashes glued together forming one thick unilash, placement of eyelashes is not uniform, lashes are not separated and unevenly placed significantly away from lash line. This improper application will damage my natural lashes. And the price?! $180 for volume set is charged by experienced lash artists who went through a professional training and are certified. And this is why I choose to try this studio, because with this price tag you expect to receive a quality service. Ladies, do yourself a favor and do not waste your money, time and health of your natural eye lashes! And I really hope that Taylor will stop butchering people's lashes and will go through professional training.

This review is solely based on their spray tan…read more I went to Venus Victoria yesterday for a spray tan. Prior to coming in, I called to make sure they had different levels of bronze. I specifically told them I don't want to be too dark. The girl on the phone assured me I would have a "sun-kissed look". Once I was there, I double checked to make sure they put the unit on the lowest setting before I paid, the attendant assured me she had. I am now 1 day into my spray tan. My skin is a deep brown colour--not at all "sun kissed looking"-- which would be fine if I wasn't a NATURAL REDHEAD. I look ridiculous and am already dreading the extreme tie-dye affect when the tan starts to wear off. Also, the attendant who helped me asked if I'd done a spray tan before and then gave me NO INSTRUCTION once I told her I had. It was only when I said: "I haven't sprayed in years, can I have a refresher?" that she gave me the most basic instructions. She didn't tell me which way to face, or what to do when I was finished: Do I rub the excess moisture in? Do I dab it? I used to work in a tanning salon. That is unacceptable! Venis Victoria Salon and Spa needs to train their staff better, or hire mystery shoppers to bust the slackers. I am so extremely disappointed. I will NEVER RETURN.

The place itself is very clean, spacious, and nicely designed, and the staff are all quite pleasant. Manicures and pedicures are excellent (she really had her work cut out for her with my 'winter feet'), and the massage (RMT) was pretty good, but not mind-blowing. I also got a basic hair trim by Josie, who is a total sweetheart, and she got the job done. My mom loves her, too, and is very happy with her mom-hair. Cheesy name, but a good, solid spa with tons of services and run by nice peeps. It's not Hammam, but they don't charge Hammam prices, so that's just fine by me.
