Right now I'm in one of my tanning phases so I've been going about twice a week. So I of course came back to Bodyrayz where I originally started sunless tanning. The staff here is always friendly and able to offer advice on any questions you may have about how long you should do on your first session or about any lotion related questions you may have.The rooms and tanning beds are always kept spotless and the owner frequently changes the lamps in the beds to ensure you're always getting a good tan. Sunless tanning isn't for everyone but if you're thinking about trying it I would recommend Bodyrayz they have sales on minutes frequently and they also offer unlimited monthly passes if that's more your style!

They have a bed that allows mirrors to tan your face in lieu of being in the bed (for those who don't like enclosed spaces). Stand up, lay down, spray tan. Ranging from cheap to expensive dependant on the bed. Usually I don't write reviews this long and detailed. But this place is sort of misleading itself and I would hate to see my neighbourhood tanning salon be underestimated!

My only comment on the negative side would be the price difference between my first and second visit. I paid around $75 on the first visit, so with a tip and tax it was under$90 in total. The second time the price was $92 before tax and tip! This is a huge jump in price as far as I am concerned. No warning or explanation given. I will continue to see Ivana but it will be larger gaps between visits for me I'm afraid.

love love love loooooove this salon!!!!!!!! amazing service plus a friendly and welcoming vibe…read more I regularly use their Red Light Therapy full body bed (Theralight 360) and it is unlike any other red light treatment around. i first heard about the Theralight 360 bed on a Joe Rogan podcast. then again when Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner posted about using the EXACT SAME ONE (Kendall owns one and Kim owns 2). after researching more about it i learned that there are only TWO of these beds in all of Ontario - one the Toronto Blue Jays own and the other one is at CW Tan and Wellness (where it's recognized by Health Ontario as a medical grade device - unlike any other Red Light bed/panel that's offered by other salons/establishments). Ive suffered from chronic pain for years and thought i would for the rest of my life -- until i started my wellness regiment at this salon. thanks to the knowledgeable and caring staff, the quality and strength of this bed, plus doing sessions in their Infrared Sauna, i can happily say that my pain is actually GONE ... my biggest hope was to get some ease from my symptoms so they weren't as severe - i never could've imagined that it would be gone COMPLETELY. i am so incredibly grateful for this salon, their staff and their equipment, because it has completely changed my life. thank you from the bery bottom of my heart CW!!

In the past year and a half, I have been to a ton of different tanning salons in different cities, and this is by far, one of my two favourite places to tan. Yes, it is more expensive than other salons but it's also incomparable. Tropical Rayz changes their bulbs regularly so you always achieve a quality tan, the salon is always clean, and the owner actually cares about your tan. Every time I go into the stand up tanning bed, I know they regularly replace their bulbs because I feel the warmth instantly. Some of the shitty places I've been to have beds that don't even heat up and you can really feel the difference. They also have body mists in the rooms, so you can walk out without the after tan smell. I love that they truly care about their customers' experiences and provides quality services. This one has been the best so far. The location is good. Free parking in the evenings and along the side of the street. A little hard to find, as Luxe Tanning should not be confused with Luxe Destination Wedding planning, the first thing you see when you step into the small plaza. Keep walking around the pub, and you'll find it. The girls here are really friendly, courteous and thoughtful. Booking my appointment, they helped me consider the timing, and explained to me everything I needed to know before and after the tan. I was also running late,and they were able to accommodate me. What they have here is VERSA SPA. If you're going to a spray tan anywhere, not just here, try to find this machine. It's better than Mystic Tan, and this other one I tried at belliar. It left no streaking, very minimal smell, and a very natural colour. In the end I looked like the colour I became after my week long trip in Mexico. It was super easy to use with a electronic guy that talks and guides you through. Their suggestions to prep for this is to be able to shower prior. It will help get rid of excess oils and help the pH of your skin so the colour can take better. You also have an option to get a $5 prep spray. Afterwards you can also get a $5 moisturizing finishing spray. From the girl's suggestion, she said it was better to get the finishing spray than the first one, if you had to choose. Since I came in here with a Fabfind, I got both, I can't tell if it made a difference or not. Before going into the booth, you have to put some barrier cream on your cuticles or anywhere that's dry. I was confused because for Mystic Tan they tell you to put globs of it on your finger nails, and a light layer on the tops of your hands and feet. Here, she said, anywhere that's dry, thin layer. It makes sense, because then the colour goes into the creases, potentially and looks funny. Put some on your cuticle and fingers (if have lots of lines) and thin around your feets. You step into the machine, and you have to do 4 poses, (instead of jut back and front). Back, Front, and Two sides. The deep electronic voice guy will guide you and there are pictures on the side. My only complaint about this is that it's COLD. I was shivering in there, even with the heater! The whole thing took about less than 10 mins, but a bit longer before where she was explaining to me the whole procedure. The other thing that was pretty awesome was that about 2mins after I was done, the machine started to self clean. This means, no stink from the person before you, and no brown soles of your feet from the previous person. Win win for the tanning studio and for me! There are 3 colour choices, and I picked 2 (1 being the lightest, and 3 being the darkest). It was really natural looking for me and was perfect. but I may try the darker one next time. You cannot shower for 12 hours and the colour will develop over time. I did notice that after my shower, a good amount of the colour washed off, but continued to develop over time (like magic). It's been about 2 days, and the colour is till there, but my face (which I do wash a lot) is noticeably lighter. The colour comes off the more I scrub. I can't see this lasting more than a week. I fully recommend this for any spray tan, especially if you're scared about streaking and a non-orange look!

The machine only had solution that came out of one half of the machine. I brought it to the attention of the staff member who was working who advised to contact her once I showered to let her know if it developed ok. I contacted her the next day when I got out of the shower to find one side of my body tanned and the other with no colour at all. I sent her pictures and she advised that she would get back to me after speaking with the owner. By the time I heard back I was already on the plane so she left a voicemail telling me that I would have a free spray tan on my account for whenever I needed it. Fast forward to today when I attempted to use said tan. The manager was a complete bitch right from the get go and gave me attitude refusing to go out the tan. She then called the owner who also refused to allow me to use the tan even though I still have the voicemail to confirm the situation. I had been more than willing to pay for the tan if there was an issue when I first walked in but after the disgusting attitude I just walked out and will be going else where. The salon is filthy and dated. Staff are rude and nasty. For a business that never seems to have anyone in there they sure don't seem to appreciate the customers they actually have walking thru the door. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere
