I quickly searched and found this place on Yelp haha and made an appointment through their online site for a 90 min deep tissue. They did call 30 min beforehand to confirm the appointment and massage type so that was nice. Parking was spacious, entrance was modern, sleek and tranquil. I was placed in a couples massage room and they go above and beyond for relaxation here: there were bowls of essential oils (?) with flowers right below where you put your face through the pillow when you lie down. So not only will you get massaged, you'll smell only nice things while doing so, making the whole sensory experience quite elevated. My masseuse adjusted pressure as we went along and as I asked. Even marked that one knit and she truly kneaded that out !! When I went home and lied on top of my heating pad, my muscle were sooo relaxed. Overall: 1000/10 recommend. I'm for sure coming back!

They have water bottles and hot tea for you while you wait or for after your session. I checked in at the front and was immediately taken back to a massage room. The room is very nice and clean with relaxing music playing in the background as well as nature sounds of water. The lights are dim to your level of comfort. You can remove as much or as little clothing as you like. I laid down on the comfortable table and waited for my masseuse. You can choose a male or female masseuse when you make your appointment. Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. The lobby and overall space is well curated. The lobby has a coffee and tea bar that also has water post massage. 100/10 be sure to call and make an appt for you're girl!Can't wait to be back!

In my opinion, tipping should always be OPTIONAL but I will always tip for services knowing it is optional. Also here's the math: the total was $254 and I tipped $50 which is ~20%. I did the math in my head so I knew I maybe short with some change. When I do the calculation on a calculator it should've been $50.80. I was short $0.80 but I didn't think that much would be bothersome??? Giving 4/5 for all the good experiences. However for the lady, 1/5 for greed.

She started off by cleansing my face, applying a warm towel, massaging my face and placed a face mask on. It was really a mini facial. She then proceeded to ask the pressure of how I wanted my head massage. She really did an amazing job massaging and had many different tools to help get a clean scrub of my scalp. The facial products were gentle and hair products had an invigorating, tingling sensation. She washed my hair two times, very thoroughly. She massaged my arms, neck, shoulders and legs while my hair was conditioning. She finished off washing my hair and blow drying. Unprofessional and Disrespectful Experience from Start to Finish…read more My friend purchased a Groupon deal for a therapeutic massage for my birthday, and I was really looking forward to it. I haven't had a massage since I gave birth, and given how stressful things have been, I was excited to finally relax. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the very beginning. The woman at the front desk initially did not want to accept our vouchers. She called the manager, who then told us to cancel our Groupon vouchers and pay them directly instead. This was extremely inconvenient, especially since there is no guarantee that Groupon refunds go through right away and can take 3-5 business days to process. We declined, but they continued to push us to pay upfront even though we already had valid, prepaid vouchers ready to use. It wasn't until I said, "Are you saying we can't be seen today? Because we are not going to cancel our vouchers," that they finally agreed to take us back. During the massage, the two masseuses kept talking to each other and laughing. Instead of being in a calm, relaxing environment with peaceful music, it felt distracting and uncomfortable. The constant talking and laughter made me feel uneasy, and at times it even felt like we were being talked about. The situation got worse at checkout. We both left a tip, and when they asked how much we would be tipping, one of the masseuses said in her language to the other, "She's only tipping ____," and they both laughed. Then the other masseuse responded, "How about ____?" This felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. Tipping should be based on the customer's discretion, not something that is commented on or suggested in that way. Overall, this experience was far from relaxing and left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I will NOT be returning.

Before my flare up, I was at the gym regularly with pretty good cardio. A friend of mine suggested I go and try a session with her. I was admittedly pretty wary since I didn't see how sitting in a room of salt would make a difference. I went and after the session, I noticed I could walk and jog without issue. I was even able to get a good gym session in the next day! I've asked my pulmonologist about it and he said that it is indeed a thing and also offered me a corresponding medical treatment. With that and this, my breathing is slowly but sure improving overall rather than just spurts here and there. Avery, the owner, if friendly and knowledgeable about how each of her services work. You can call to book or schedule online. Either way works and it is super easy to do. The chairs are comfortable and you can lounge in them. There are also some yoga mats if you want to use those. You do need to bring clean socks (or you can buy a pair for $2!) to bring to each session. I have also used the individual booth sauna which has a setting to allow you to get salt inhalation too. You can use it as a sauna or, I can't handle heat so, you can have a low heat place to yourself. There is also a community room where you book a spot and you may share the room with others so be respectful! There are other services here too but since I've never used them, I won't give any opinion. Parking is plentiful here too. I definitely recommend this to people with health issues and those that just want to relax. There is a reason why back in the day doctors recommended going to the beach :P They might not have known the science behind the benefits but they knew! I really do recommend this and I do have about it to friends. :)

They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. This made me feel very understood and respected as a regular customer here. The owner also tries to remember the regulars at the salon and always offer a warm welcoming, which is very nice of her. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby. Mundi is meticulous and actually cares about doing an excellent job -- up to her own very high standards. I started seeing Mundi when I still lived in San Jose, and now face the horror of 880 traffic (ok, I try to find an excuse to cross a bridge and then trek down) just because I know Mundi will do the job perfectly. Mundi & Waxing: Mundi gets *every* single little hair. It seems like every time I go somewhere else for waxing, I always find some stray hair when I shower later. Mundi also uses products she believes in -- that means that when I visit Mundi I have never had follicles bleeding from using cheap materials that didn't do the job properly. Additionally, when I was in a fix one time, I visited a local salon where the esthetician used a wax roller; initially I was pretty pleased with how quick the entire process was -- about 35 minutes for full leg, underarm, and bikini, but then I noticed that the wax did not remove any of the smaller or finer hairs that the more laborious waxing with strips method gets. Mundi does not use shortcuts in order to see more clients, and she is worth every penny. Mundi & Facials: I have a friend who sees Mundi, and every so often I'd see her, and her face looked awesome -- her skin was glowing! She would always say she had just been to see Mundi. Well, I finally bit the bullet made time to get a facial the last two times I saw Mundi for waxing. Again, Mundi seems to use products she really believes in, because my skin looked fabulous when she was done with me. I was surprised because I hadn't been washing my face at night or drinking enough water, and had been having a glass of wine every night. I was looking kind of greyish brown with a few flaky spots. Not only did I look a nice healthy honey brown when she was done with me, the effects lasted longer than I expected. Mundi gave me a treatment called LED rejuvenation that utilizes some type of light therapy on the skin. She said she was providing a free treatment so her clients could see how it worked for them. That really impressed me -- she didn't try to sell me some expensive new treatment, but instead provided a treatment she thought would work for me, and then let me decide. I really respect that. Finally, I have to say that Mundi herself is absolutely charming and one of the funniest people I have ever encountered. Somehow when I am apologetic and flustered because I am about 3-5 minutes late (and I hate being late) AND I have to pee, she manages to be a calming and serene influence. I always enjoy talking to her so much I have trouble shutting up, but the last two times I practically conked out when she was giving me a facial. Granted, it might be her working spaces. She obviously put a lot of thought in to the wall color, the art, the music, window treatments, and even the furniture with the little leaf holder for jewelry and such. Needless to say, I have an appointment to see Mundi next week. She is worth every penny of what she charges, which I believe is about going rate or less. I know she charged me less for waxing than I paid for the local wax roller place. Every time I have gone to see someone else, I have regretted it. Mundi honestly cares about doing the best job she can, which I find rarer and rarer when I go to day spas and feel like I am just another body and that they don't really care about performing a service *well* but merely doing their job for a paycheck. read more

What sets her apart is that she uses medical-grade products and services that are overseen by a physician, Dr. John Hart. This isn't your average spa facial, it feels very clinical with loving special care. She worked wonders on my dry *** skin. I came to her for a pre-wedding facial and she took such great care of me. She started with a thorough deep cleanse, followed by Hydro Dermabrasion treatment, and finished with a cryo ice machine thingy that left my skin feeling tight, refreshed, and genuinely glowing (see pic). Maricela is also bilingual in English and Spanish, which is a wonderful bonus if you're more comfortable in either language. It's also so easy to book appointments with her and communicate with her. She has a $30 nonrefundable deposit that comes with every booking! There have been times where the facials have been so relaxing that I just fall asleep. I prefer her more comfortable, private facials, as opposed to the larger-scale facial businesses that I have been to.

Sabai Beauty & Wellness is a suite that is located in Sola Salon which is a business full of suites for hair and skin care. It is by appointment only. There is a sign on the door that asks you to text/call your salon person to come open the locked door for you to enter. Karin is a one woman business. She made me feel instantly comfortable and was extremely gentle and kind. We got to know each other just a tad while she worked on my facial. I can tell she really enjoys what she does and has been doing this for over a decade. If you are debating like me forever to try a diamond microdermabrasion facial, don't debate it, just do it! My appointment lasted one hour and my face feels lighter. I can't wait to come back again next month and see what regular facials can do to my face! :P Please support your local businesses if you can. They need to recover from the pandemic. I would love to see Karin thriving and busy. She so deserves it!
