It's a clean, quiet, and tranquil environment. She's evaluates your skin and lets you know what she will be doing. Each time I get something a little bit different, but based on what my skin needs. Her prices are very reasonable compared to whats out there lately. She doesnt pressure you to re-book, just call/text her when you need (she'll make recommendations). I've been going to Zee for facials every 2 months for maintenance. Since I'm lucky enough to already have nice skin at baseline, Zee doesn't think I need to go more often than that. Zee has amazing, plump, glowy skin for her age and I tell myself she must know exactly what she's doing to look like that. Booking with Zee is easy, I just text her about a week in advance and usually she's been able to get me in. The few times I was running late to her appointment, I texted to update her, and she was always so kind and flexible. Zee doesn't use a lot of fancy machines, which I don't care for anyway but she does use microdermabrasion on me every time which I like. I also appreciate her extractions because some aestheticians don't do too much of that. I was looking into estheticians to help me keep my skin looking youthful and was so glad to find Zee's business very close to my home. When I made an appointment with her she was very flexible on time and was able to fit me into a time that was best for my schedule. Skin care is extremely important to me, and I could tell it is for her too because of how passionately she talked about her job. She recommended me Vitamin C serum to keep my skin looking its best and lots lots LOTS of sun protection. She made sure I was super comfortable in the massage chair and let me know that I could ask as many questions as I would like. After she cleansed my skin and examined it, she gave me a microdermabrasion, an extraction, a face/scalp massage, and moisturizer/sunscreen to top it all off. Zee is amazing. I found her through my hairdresser. I noticed how my hairdresser's skin was glowing and asked her what her skin routine was. She suggested going to Zee. I was pretty much desperate. I have the ultimate combination skin ever. I have acne prone skin, oily in my "T" zone, and dry around cheeks, eye area and chin. I've tried everything from the dermatologists for the acne but then it would always dry my skin out even more. Totally sucked. I made an appointment and went to Zee. Shes the sweetest lady ever. Offered me juice or water. I went into her facial room, she asked me a few questions, examined my skin and then got to business. It was so relaxing and my skin immediately looked radiant. My boyfriend didn't know I had gone to get a facial and he commented on my skin. He asked what I did/used. I told him I got a facial for a totally reasonable price and suggested that he go with me next time. He took me up on my offer and we've been loyal customers of Zee's ever since. It's something we look forward to every 6 weeks. I feel so relaxed and destressed. It's like all this weight is lifted off my shoulders. I usually get a chemical peel and he gets a microdermabrasion. Being a cosmetologist and based on my research I knew it would take more than one session to get my acne under control and my skin to look radiant on a daily basis. BEWARE! This review is long overdue, but it must be written. Okay, notice that I've been a client since 2011, so you could imagine my frustrations. I have had no complaints until my recent chemical peel with Zee. Boy! Have I had the worse experience. She literally burned my face off. I must have had first/second degree burns, which took 3-4 months for my skin to fully recover. She had no idea what she was doing, she did not analyze the condition of my skin, and she did not consult with me professionally concerning the side effects (which she stated there is rarely any). After the fact, she kept saying this reaction was normal. I had to Google what was normal and what was abnormal, and this most certainly is NOT NORMAL. I also took the initiative to see my Dermatologist to have him access the situation. He literally told me she used too high of a concentration! She probably uses the exact amount or more on everybody, thinking that everyone's skin is suppose to react the same?! WRONG. I absolutely agree with the review James O written down below. Ultimately, what I'm more furious about is the fact that she did not express any concern whatsoever about what had happened. I expressed numerous concerns, which she kept telling me that it was normal. I had to demand my money back because she offered no concern or reimbursement. I have been visiting Zee for 4 months now. I had moderate acne scars on my face and wanted to get a Microderm to help lessen the appearance of the imperfections. I did not know what to expect at first as this was my first time going in for a facial. I'm happy to report that it's been a great experience. Zee was realistic and did explain the condition of my skin, and what to expect after the treatment. I didn't really notice a visual improvement after my first appointment, but my skin most definitely felt smoother. Now that I have gone to her for 4 treatments, 1 every month, I can say with confidence and assurance that my acne scars are less visible than before. The appointments usually last about an hour. She will clean your face, followed by exfoliation. Once she's done exfoliating, she'll begin the Microderm using her machine. Once she's done, she will apply various creams to the face, along with some sort of mask. At the end, she'll clean your face and apply some sort of moisturizing agent. Zee has had great results with my skin. I would describe my skin as "tough, thick skin". In my 30's I'm blessed with minimal wrinkles and can pass for 22. But I do have an acne problem ( cystic acne )I've been going to zee for about 3 years. I've been pleased with the results. I've always had issues with my skin. I've tried so many products including Clinique and Dr. Perricone; spending a lot of money with no results. I had acne scars and enlarged pores from a previous bout with cystic acne due to hormonal issues. The texture and tone of my skin has always bothered me and I've had to wear heavy foundation because of it. I found Zee on Yelp! and decided to give her a try. Zee is very honest and thorough; she told me what I needed to do to get my skin in good shape. I did microdermabrasion a few times, enzyme masks and am using the Retin-A product she recommended and sold to me. My skin is near flawless now. I no longer have blotchy redness on my cheeks or the embedded acne. My skin looks like glass after I wash my face, it is SO tight. She uses a lot of natural products and cares about the ingredients that she uses. She's great at explaining what the products she's using will do so there's no surprises. I've had several treatments with her from micro abrasion to pumpkin peels and extractions. Her prices are great ranging $40-55, which I think is pretty decent. I particularly enjoyed the massage setting on the bed throughout the session. Though, you have an option to have it turned off. For my session, she provided a pumpkin and- I believe- a glycolic peel mask. The glycolic peel tingles but has a great cooling effect. (Though, for those who have sensitive skin, you may find it 'too intense.') Extractions. Lastly, face and head massage (my favorite). I'm 8 months pregnant and in dying need of some skin miracle! I've been too exhausted and tired to take care of my skin myself, besides it's good to see a professional once a month or soo... She's pretty booked and works on appt but was able to get me in the same day. I came by and was really nervous and shy since I don't have the best skin in the world. She works from home but it's legit, she has her certificates and business license on the wall and has been doing this for over 10 years. She's really nice and informative. She didn't make me feel embarrassed at all and was very relaxing. I like a more private and quiet environment, with a personal touch so I feel comfortable to ask questions about my skin condition. She also plays soothing music to help u relax and didn't rush the appt. It's about an hr and it's very reasonable... I left feeling clean and refresh, my skin feels smooth! I even wanted to make an appt in 4 weeks but she said it's not necessary for my skin, to make an appt about 6-8 weeks instead. That was honest, and it's nice to know she's not trying to make money and really do care about your skin. I had a facial from Z about a month ago. The extractions were sooooo painful and even when she saw how much discomfort and how much I was squirming and tearing up, she still continued to do it. After my facial, my nose (where my pores were) was extremely bruised about about 4-5 days before it started getting better. The microdermabrasion that she did and the crap she put on my face afterwards burned and sting like hell, so I told her, her response was "that means that it's working." After treatment, I followed her instructions to the T, but what are the odds- 2 days later, I have a major acne break-out all over my face (not to mention my nose was also bruised). Not to mention, her hands are like icicles! It startled me when she put those things on my face. Needless to say, I'll never come back.
