We came about 10 mins before my appointment and filled out the necessary paperwork with Ava and she was also my treatment specialist. The small lobby area was clean and very welcoming. The treatment rooms are quiet, clean and have a nice ambience of dim lighting on the ceiling. They started with the mini facial with the steaming machine and started to work on my face. I am getting drowsy now because it feels so nice. Head massage, neck and shoulder massage, warm water on head and neck and that's all I remembered because by now, I am practically asleep. Before I know it, it's time to get up! Fastest 90 mins ever. Now I want the 2 hour treatment!!! We go to the mirror vanity table to finish off with the blow dry but not before serum was added to the scalp and some other things they do. Don't ask me what, because I was still waiting up from my nap. I was so sad it was over. Please tip generously because they are all hardworking and try to make it the best experience for you. That basically meant they gave away our original appointment slot to another customer and expected us to wait over an hour past our scheduled time and lied in the beginning by saying it was only getting pushed back by 30 minutes. I decided to cancel my appointment because i wasn't gonna wait longer. Completely disrespectful of customers' time, especially after driving so far. (I have gotten henna countless times across my whole life, I KNOW how it is supposed to scrape off). I will attach a comparison between henna I got for 30$ (at a walk-in beauty store, not at a party), and what they charged me here, NINETY DOLLARS (90). You'd think you get what you pay for, right? Absolutely not. They told me 40 over the phone, and changed the price on me when I got it done, and still pressed for a tip. I wanted to cry when I saw the result of my henna hours later, as I have never had something that looks this bad compared to the reference photo I gave. I am stuck with this design for a month. Maybe their other services are good, but given their henna service and how it was conducted, I doubt it. DO NOT COME HERE FOR THE HENNA, DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE YEARS-OLD REVIEWS. The photos in different lighting are the good henna I got for 30$. The other 4 in same lighting are the result of this store. I have never been so horrified by a henna result in my life, the 'skin condition' look/phase of henna should be in 1 month from now. Not less than 12 hours from getting it. In summary, they used cheap henna (not authentic), it didn't scrape off properly even after 6+ hours, it continues to stain my things even after 'scraping' it off (so I can't touch things for a long time for the next month), the artistry is unbelievably awful, and the price was as if I got a bridal henna. If this were 10$, I would not have been upset. It was 9x the price. Getting henna is meant to be a celebratory occasion- not a devastating one. I didn't even know henna could be done this badly, and now that I know it's POSSIBLE, it is a fear I will always carry with me.
