Love the ambience and the factory-chic décor here. Especially the chairs--all different sorts and all super comfy. Outlets are also not too difficult to find, so it's definitely a laptop friendly sort of café. There's not a whole lot happening on the street (so not many opportunities for people-watching), but the quiet is nice. The only negatives are that the selection of food and drinks here is not bad, but on the higher-priced end (at least from a student perspective). I got a delicious home-made lemonade, but that was already around 3.50 euros. And--while I don't think this is always the case--I had a lot of problems with the internet when I was there. It worked for the staff and they did their best to fix the problem, but unfortunately, by the time it was fixed (took an hour...), I was already about to leave. So largely because of my internet problems, I wouldn't come back here necessarily to work, but I may return just to sit again in those chairs. read more

We went here for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. There was no wait at all. We ordered one of the omelettes and the sampler board with cheeses, meat, jams, fresh warm bread, honey and nutella. Everything on our plate was delicious. It was a simple, fresh, well prepared assortment that was completely satisfying. My roommate and I went here for breakfast one morning while visiting. The food was spectacular (who knew eggs could taste so good?), the decor trendy and fun, the ambiance was great. However, the service was mediocre. We asked for tap water and were told it was "not possible". After paying 2 euro for small bottles of still water, we were left thirsty. Very relaxed, hipster place with mismatched wooden furniture and eclectic art on the walls. Prices are good! I've had the egg plates which are only around 5€ and very good. My favorite by far was their breakfast platter. I got the choice with meat and was happily surprised with the variety of cheeses (even mozzarella with balsamic), cold cuts, a yummy pesto spread, marmalade, honey, Nutella, and lots of excellent bread. What a pleasant and memorable dining experience for our first breakfast in Berlin. Love the idea of a restaurant dedicated to all-day breakfast. And then the variety of vegan options, and equally appealing carnivore options meant I could peacefully share a meal with my husband in a space that caters more for me. We went to Factory Girl for brunch on Sunday. It was busy but not too overcrowded so we could still get a place. On the menu they have different egg dishes, meat platters and other breakfast options. We went for the mixed platter and and omelette. The quality of the food was good, but nothing extraordinary. The service was a let down. We ordered 2 cafe lattes and they came with different consistencies. For the omelette we were first given scrambled eggs, however they offered to change it. When serving the dishes we had to wait for another 5 minutes for the bread to arrive. Also when we ordered some more bread it took 15 min as they had to pick it up from a nearby bakery. Overall not so successful due to the bad service and the good, but not very special food. There are better options around, I won't go back. For the food I would rate it a 4, but given the service only 3 stars... read more

I ordered the eggs benny with bacon and my hubby ordered eggs benny with the breasola. They were through the roof amazing. Salad on the side with a wedge of lemon was tasty and the amazing beet puree decorated the plate. The benny had fresh dill on it and there was a zing to the holllandaise sauce.
