Wanted to try some small town diner food and wow is an understatement. Walked in to their restaurant and it's clean, bright, and you can tell full of hometown love. My wife and I walked up to the bar seating area and were greeted friendly by a young lady and helped immiedetly. We opted for lunch items as it was brunch time and some coffee. Coffee was always refilled quick and my drinks were always tended to. Food came out fast and hot and fresh. Very filling. My wife got the Pennsylvania style fried chicken salad and I got a chicken tender melt. Both delicious! Big thanks to the staff and kitchen for a great meal read more

Was very disappointed with The Factory restaurant. Not necessarily the food, but the SERVICE is awful. My daughter and I went there for breakfast. it wasn't full and we were ignored for over 15 minutes. The waitresses saw us, but kept refilling everyone's coffee and chatting with must have been the regulars. When they finally did wait on us the waitresses was very rude and in a hurry...wont be going there again. someone needs to have a talk with the waitresses!!! read more

The food is good. However unless you are a regular or with a regular customer or a saegertown resident......service sucks. Regulars and friends get served immediately. If you are not one you will be kind of ignored for a while and eventually will be waited on. Im not a local, but have gone with locals/regulars and service was great. I have gone in there with my hubby ( neither of us are regulars ) and we were ignored while staff waited on people that came in after us because they knew them. I am not sure what the food tastes like. My mother and I attempted to go here a couple weeks ago. We sat ourselves and waited for over 15 minutes. Not one waitress even acknowledged we were there. Two of the waitress's stood behind the counter and talked to one another. One waitress came out from behind the counter talked to another table and refreshed their coffee. Still never acknowledged our presence. So we left. There were only five tables filled in the place and they were not even busy. read more

Well, I tried this restaurant for the first time today. The breakfast did not look bad, but I was more in the mood for lunch. This is one of the few places that will let you order lunch items at breakfast time. Our waitress was good & very attentive. It took longer than I expected for our food, but not too long. I ordered a cheeseburger and was disappointed by the size of the processed patty. I was expecting more due to the menus emphasis on raw or undercooked food could cause illness. The only way to undercook this patty would be to not cook it at all. Secondly, I wonder if they have an issue with rodents, particularly mice. When I was exiting the restaurant I noticed a large gap under the front door. This is the time of the year when mice & rats seek warmer accommodations and there wasn't anything keeping them out of this place. read more

It's a diner (dinor for those of you from the Erie area) in a factory building. Do I really need to say more? I will anyhow. I got the "Mess" an omelette-ish dish with mushrooms, huge potato chunks, ham, peppers, onions, cheese & lots of grease. It was delicious if not very good - which is what a cheap diner is supposed to be I guess. I also want to talk about the attached "flea market": holy CRAP. Have you ever seen a resin statue of a Native American woman riding a rhino? It's a beautiful sight to behold. My wife wouldn't let me buy it though. The 6" Spiderman sword letter opener, she wouldn't let me get that either. Sometimes I think she wants me to lead a BORING life. Oh they did give me a free gift of fleas at the flea market. You'd think they'd sell them there if that is what the market is named after. A Spiderman sword! read more

I absolutely love the Factory, we eat here about 2-3 times a month for breakfast. The waitress know their "regulars" and practically know our order exact. Great food, GREAT price, GREAT coffee, don't let these these other reviews fool you. This places makes you feel like you are at home. read more

The factory is delicious!! We stop in to get something to eat about 1-2 times a month and it has never dissapointed us. Extremely reasonably priced with great portions! Best bacon in the tri-state area. Owner is a bit of an opinionated loudmouth, but if you can tune him out, there's a pile of meaty bacon in store for you (plus real maple syrup if you get pancakes). read more
