    Amazing French toast

This was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a very long time. The eggs were cooked perfectly,, the bacon was the good kind and was just right as well. The home fries were crispy and reminded me of my mother's. But the standout was certainly the French toast, made out of their homemade bread. It was thick and crispy on the edges, eggy and custardy in the middle and for a little extra, you can get it with real maple syrup. Also, the service was efficient and polite. 10/10 no notes!

What a cute restaurant and gift shop in the heart of the small town of Clymer, NY . Prices were very reasonable for a quick lunch that consisted of a BLT and a pizza melt . They make their own bread fresh daily and each sandwich comes with potato chips . We browsed their gift shop afterwards , which was fairly large and although quite a few signs and Knick knacks caught our eye , nothing was purchased there . I do wish I came a bit more hungry , their cinnamon rolls looked delicious and big enough to have their own zip code! If you are visiting the Peek and peak resort , I recommend checking them out .

This is not a place to visit if you're dieting. They make their own bread and pies. The French toast was impressive and made with a huge slice of their great baked bread. I didn't try it but they also have a buffet.

Great food. Friendly staff. The menu has so many choices, there is something for everyone. My roast beef sandwich was excellent. It was huge and the homemade mashed potatoes were delicious. It definitely is a warm and inviting establishment and you can tell the clientele is mostly local people, but that is a sign of a good restaurant to me. There are fresh pies available for desert, and the prices are very fair, especially for the size of the meal.

    Counter service.

A good place to grab breakfast before heading to Peek n' Peak or doing the wine trail. P The prices were reasonable and the service was attentive.

Here are the highlights: A well varied menu of delicious diner food, friendly servers and homemade pie Ike Grandma made. If you still need to know more, here it is... This is a small town diner in the truest sense of the word. The entire experience is a stereotype. I'm pretty sure that nothing has ever been updated in this place and that's just fine with me. Vinyl booths, a lunch counter and "pay up front" all adds to the hometown feel. They bake pies daily and have so many choices that they're written on a white board. They are all yummy so you might have to visit more than once. The entrees are generous and well priced. Whole pies as well as slices can be purchased to go. Be sure not to miss the fresh loaves of bread at the checkout counter.

    We love it here!

As a far away visitor, at the Dutch Village I found friendly staff, generous portions, country dining at its best! They've got it all!

We had our dog with us so we only planted to get carry out, and then we discovered a shaded patio. We decided to stay and eat outside. I was standing at the host stand for quite a while because I hadn't noticed the seat yourself sign. I had also walked in the restaurant and was looking around for any employee - two servers at a table saw me standing there looking confused but then just went right back into the kitchen. When another guest pointed out the sign, I thought well that's great but if we want to sit outside will they ever know we are there. Someone finally returned to the bar and we were able to get a server. We ended up ordering three appetizers - skoat balls, cheese sticks, peach Burrata. All three good. I also ordered a blueberry mint mocktail beer that was actually quite disappointing. It was also quite a charming little town! Would like to go back again sometime, sadly that is unlikely to ever happen.

I found it amusing that all signs posted to get there were at or after the turn. If you're not using GPS - watch out for that. Although they were hosting a private graduation party, the brewery itself was still open. It was surprisingly quiet around 1 p.m. on a Saturday, with just one other patron, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stop. The restrooms were spotless, and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas were beautiful and inviting. The bartender was incredibly attentive and took the time to ask what styles of beer I usually enjoy before recommending a few options. Every recommendation was spot on! We ended up sitting back, enjoying our drinks, and taking in the peaceful atmosphere, it was exactly the recharge we needed between games. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to explore the grounds, but from what we saw, the property looked gorgeous. We'll definitely make a point to return when we can spend more time there.

The whole building was super festive and fun. While busy, right before Christmas, everyone was very nice and helpful. There was barely a wait for anything, other than seating, but like I said it was so busy. The food we ordered was hot, fresh, and quick. I was really surprised by how good it was. I got a bowl potato soup and it looked small. That soup was so loaded and cheesy, I wasn't even able to finish it! Delicious! We shared a Bavarian pretzel. That was also huge, very well made. The dips for it I think are house made? They were amazing. We couldn't decide our favorite, but I think the mustard was mine. We each got a festive drink, I'm not big on drinks, but my Cosmic cosmo was fantastic and pretty! While the decor is what finally got me to visit I'm definitely planning on going back. It's very spacious, great seating. The food was impressive, service was fast and surprisingly friendly with how packed and busy they were.
