For the first time ever, the food was sub-par. My omelette looked nothing like the previous ones, had canned mushrooms and was sitting in a pool of water. My husband's steak was very well done, not even a trace of pink . He brought his plate back to the counter to request a new order and by the time he got his food, I was done with mine. As soon as he touched the steak, he could tell it was almost raw. When he cut into it, it was plain to see that it was dark red and raw inside. I've never tried a beer here that wasn't top notch. My hubby, who is an IPA enthusiast, was crazy over many of the IPAs, while I loved seeing a perfectly done Kolch on the menu, in addition to a great Pils and some darker favorites too. There is a modest yet deeply satisfying menu that includes a homemade pretzel shaped like the logo of the brewery along with pierogis and many burgers. If you sit outside it will be hard to resist the sandwiches which you can smell and watch cooking. The location is very convenient to Pymatuning State Park, especially the Jamestown facilities or Ohio/Andover facilities. It's a short and direct drive over to I-79 so this is a very accessible place if you're traveling from or between Erie and Pittsburgh. While I've not tried the adjoining winery yet it will be part of the itinerary next time, as it was equally inviting! I cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

This Burger Bar is located in a strip mall, minutes away from The Grove City Premium Outlets, gas stations, hotels, shops and other restaurants. Blackout can be a very busy place, so be warned, as it caters to a mix of locals, hotel guests and the outlet mall shoppers. Luckily, I went just before the dinner rush on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The menu has a selection of items, including their featured and more popular burgers. You also have the option of building your own burgers, and every table comes with a build-your-own sheet with multiple choices for customizing your burger. I ordered the 'Range Roaming Bison Burger' with bacon cooked to medium well, as you have a choice on how you want your patty cooked. I also ordered a side of their monstrous, massive onion rings that they are also known for. The food came out quickly, and my burger was cooked as I ordered it.
