I was a little nervous initially but something about her energy gave me full confidence that I had found my forever barber. She's the best; her shop is clean and well lit, she listens to you and works diligently to give you a cut that is better than what you had envisioned. But the main reason I'm writing a negative review is after finally getting seated, I find the chair and counter station is full of hair and dirty from the previous client. The stylist isn't prepared and disappeared again to grab the steam machine! So not only did they rob me of my time but after patiently waiting, they robbed my experience. However, the primary reason my experience is always excellent at Union is Tee -- he consistently provides an awesome haircut, great conversation, and makes the process seamless. I've been getting my hair cut by Tee for about 5 years now, and I can confidently say that I'll always trust Tee to give me an excellent cut. I've since moved further away, and my drive to the shop is an hour, but it's worth it to know I'm always going to get the same consistent experience, professionalism, and be able to catch up with Tee. After all this time, Tee knows my preferred style without asking any questions, and also knows how to adapt to however my hair decides to behave on the day of (even when I end up missing a couple weeks and going longer between cuts.
