Hired Ronny to remodel my bathroom. Initially the project started well but went downhill towards…read morethe end. I'll start with the positive. Pros: -works fast -can execute the basics -bathroom at surface level looks great Cons: -did not resolve plumbing issues -messy/ doesn't clean up after self -poor communication skills -does not stand behind his work once paid -poor eye for design /aesthetics -not detail oriented Ronny / Z remodeling did a complete remodel of my bathroom which including moving plumbing. I paid him extra to install a jet/ spa shower system that now has little to no water pressure when turned to the hot setting. The water pressure is my shower previously was very strong/ intense and was great for using the massage setting on the shower head. All that is now gone. He initially claimed this was an easy fix, and said it just needed to be cleaned. He never came back himself though to look into it, which would've been helpful considering he's the one that did the work. Instead He sent his brother in law (BIL) over to investigate. The BIL tired a few different things but still couldn't get the pressure up. The shower has no pressure when using hot water or more than one fixture at a time. it appears that once they realized it was not a quick fix, they abandoned the job. Unfortunately I did not actually use the shower until I had already paid him so at this point he had no reason to come back ( other than it being the right thing to do of course). Ronny stopped answering all calls or texts from myself or my husband. this should have been my dream shower but now my jets ,that I paid extra to install, are not usable and I can't shower in hot water. In addition to that, he didn't level my doors, drawers ,cabinets, or handles and many are slightly crooked. The bathroom pocket door is also not leveled and when I asked him to fix these items his response was that they were already installed and that there was nothing that could be done. Other than replacing all of the doors since the holes had already been made. Unfortunate that a contractor wouldn't think to use a level or template before haphazardly installing handles. In addition, the hinges on the cabinets were barely tightened and some doors almost fell off when I opened them for inspection. Again very poor attention to detail and sloppy work. He should have checked for all of this before claiming the project was complete. Another area in which he fell short was in the materials he provided. I agreed to purchase my vanity through him as he promised he could replicate a custom version that I was originally planning to go with. He also agreed to paint the vanity for an additional $1500. Doesn't appear he bothered to sand/prep or prime the vanity as the paint began peeling and continues to peel just days after it was installed. Not only that, he ordered extremely small drawers for the vanity and attempted to hide it by covering them with large doors so that it would not be obvious. Great way to save money for him, complete waste of space for me who needed this vanity in order to increase storage space. I would not recommend Ronnie for any major remodeling work or agree to purchase any materials from him. He does not stand behind his work. Does not communicate when is coming/ not coming or sending other contractors to your home and does not believe in cleaning up after himself. His team had to come back on 3 occasions before I made my final payment. They originally left the bathroom covered in dirt, dust, and debris and considered that "done". I was shocked that he thought this was an acceptable way to turn over an job. He also never did a final walk through despite transferring the job to another company at the end of the project so he could go on vacation. I appreciate that the work didn't stop but again this should have been communicated prior. I didn't hire that company or have any idea about their credentials/ qualifications. In addition, he did not remove all of the trash which was part of the contract. He left large pieces of dry wall outside my home, several of his trash cans, multiple bags of cement and other rubbish and refused to come back and dispose of them. He left this for me and my husband to figure out. In short, I would not recommend Ronny or Z Remodeling INC. If you do choose to work with him make sure to delay final payment a few days to ensure you've actually used everything and completely inspected his work because once paid is not interested in returning to fix his mistakes. Now I have to find another plumber and consider taking additional action against him to fix this. Also I've given him more than 2 months to respond before writing this this review. Go elsewhere, it's not worth the headache. Even if he's cheaper remember there's truth to the saying "good work ain't cheap and cheap work ain't great"

Competitively priced, did what I thought was a good job and the owner was very professional. BUT that's where it ends. I called them back a year later to do a kitchen and 1.5 bath cabinet remodeling job in the same apartment. First the building management refused to work with them because they had caused damage at another job in the building that they got based on the floors that they did for me. So like many contractors they operated using a friend's name. The job was very poorly done, they never finished and I had to hire someone to finish their work. And the work was done poorly. Exposed nail holes in the cabinets, bad finish and insane delays that cost my client a tenant. Now a year later the FLOORING they did two years ago is warping due to bad installation, the kitchen faucets are all loose ( my handyman tightened them), the ceiling peeled where they banged it doing cabinet installation and we found more exposed nails . I'm getting everything fixed but they're not going to hear from me again and I can't in good conscience recommended them

After experiencing…read moremultiple issues during my renovation, I discovered that Megapolis Construction did not appear to hold an active Florida contractor license. Permits for my project appeared to be filed through another company, M & Z Construction. My project experienced significant delays, change-order/upcharge disputes, inspection and engineering/blueprint issues, and several promised items that were never completed. Some work I ultimately completed myself to move the project forward. During disputes over these issues, the possibility of a construction lien was also raised. When I later sold the property, the closing attorney flagged concerns regarding the contractor/licensing structure and held part of the sale proceeds temporarily while the matter was reviewed. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to independently verify licensing, permitting, contracts, and who is actually responsible for the work / injuries / defects before making payments or signing agreements. Nick, the owner of Megapolis Construction is apparently a married man. To the licensed contractor of the Florida license he used for permits for my project. They are invested together financially but with the current structure, it seems they are able to possibly avoid any direct liability operating between 2 companies.

Let me preface this by saying that I truly loathe having to write a negative review. But after my…read morerecent conversation with Mike with A+ Concrete in Margate, I have accepted that the Urotile driveway that Mike did and the problems that surfaced a year later is just a lost cause In short, Mike installed a Urotile driveway/walkway in late 2018. Urotile is a concrete overlay and very popular with pools and driveways. According to the manufacturer of the product that Mike used, Urotile adds beauty to a pool or driveway and it is "more durable than concrete" When A+ Concrete completed the Urotile driveway and walkway, it truly looked spectacular. It was stunning and certainly one of the best decisions I ever made for my property. But about 12-14 months later, I began to see Microcracks in my driveway. I thought it was from an older oak tree that was removed and was willing to accept it. But I soon saw similar microcracks were visible in my walkway. I knew then there was a problem Mike eventually came out to look at my driveway (in late 2020) At first, Mike was unsure as to what was happening and said he would have to discuss it with the manufacturer (which was Advanced surfaces in Margate, FL.) Months elapsed and no response from Mike. In all fairness to Mike, COVID was likely an issue in getting out to address the problem. But I myself decided to drive down to ADVANCED Surfaces. Since Mike told me he used their Primary product but he used a different resin, I bought this up in a very long conversation I had with Denise at Advanced Surfaces. Denise acknowledged Mike, confirming he is one of her customers and uses her product for Urotiling driveways, pool decks etc. But there was not much she could do and referred me back to him. I emailed Mike about my conversation with Denise from Advanced surfaces. A Few weeks later Mike said he would meet with me about the matter on March 4 with an Advanced surfaces rep. But mike called me at our meeting time and said the rep cancelled. Mike then said that he didn't think the rep was going to be able to say anything different - which Mike now elaborated to say that my problem is known as "Concrete Crazing". My research on Crazing shows "Crazing in concrete usually occurs because of "wrong construction practices" Crazing also occurs after a concrete pour, in other words a recent concrete application . My concrete is 22 years old. The only recent application was the URO tile overlay. In addition, some of the white grout has come off (I will add pics). Mike said he would fix that, although, the grout is the least of my issues with this driveway. But sooner or later, that white grout will need to be fixed. I agree with other reviews that I have seen about A+ Concrete, and think Mike and Lori are good people. They were nice to work with. I think they are honest people. And I also try to be fair. But I dont know how else I should react after spending $5400 for a driveway. I've been very patient through all of this. Im certainly no expert with Urotile or concrete but there is a 14th century adage known as "Occam's razor" which essentially states that when trying to figure out a problem (or in my case, a cause to a problem) "The simplest answer tends to be the correct one". I think something went wrong during the Urotile process or curing and that has resulted in these unsightly micro cracks (they are also occurring in my walkway as well). One other fact: The owner behind me also has a Urotile driveway which was done in 2015. She does not have my problem. Being I work in academia for over 20 years, I think its important to educate and share info with others.
