This car wash never fails to impress me. Staff is always friendly. I come to this specific one because I drive a EV and prefer the touchless car washes anyways. The car wash works pretty good. They have different options and I feel like you get a bang for your buck. They do have a monthly membership as well. read more

On December 22nd at approximately 6:25 PM, I went to the Chevron gas station located at 3481 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95864 to purchase lottery tickets. I handed the cashier a $10 cash bill and requested 1 Mega Millions ticket, 2 Powerball tickets, and 1 SuperLotto Plus ticket. The cashier immediately demanded my ID. When I asked for the purpose of the ID requirement, considering I was paying cash and purchasing a non-alcoholic product, he responded, "No ID, no sale," without providing any explanation! I am over 40 years old and my age was clearly not in question. The interaction felt inappropriate and unprofessional. Based on the cashier's behavior and demeanor from the start of the interaction, I felt I was being treated differently, and it raised serious concerns of discriminatory treatment rather than a legitimate age verification issue. Although I ultimately showed my ID, I informed the cashier that if they did not want my business, I did not want theirs either. I have been running a business for over 15 years located less than 2 miles from this retailer and the way customers are treated at this location is not acceptable at all! read more

I can't spare a lot of love for Chevron. Call me anti-Chevron, call me anti-big gas or whatever, but they are never my first option and this location is a prime example. Busy, hard to access, gas that really isn't cheaper and a lot of traffic and several non-working pumps when I stopped in. What Chevron does right is all the sleekness. The fast working pumps (when they work), the "techron", the "Extra Mile" store with well-stocked shelves. When my Safeway card didn't work at the pump, I got nothing more than a shrug from the cashier. Gas stations are a dime a dozen, so at least in my opinion I'll be looking elsewhere and avoiding the headache. read more

Unbelievably terrible service from a rude woman with glasses & braids. Went here for the first and last time on 12/10/22 at 715pm. I was going to fill up and pay cash at 4.09 gal. She was extreamly rude. Said what do you want? I told her I was filling up with cash. She said just go pump. I went out and tried. The pump told me I had to prepay which I tried to with her. I went back to go inside to tell her and the door was locked for 15 min and she was gone. 3-4 other people wondering outside in this cold weather if this place was open. The have now updated their systems...so they only take the 20 cents off now :( BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I was so taking advantage of the full $1.00 off per gallon using my Safeway Gas rewards. but still taking 20 cents off pretty much brings them down to Arco prices, when I cant get to the Safeway gas station to use my rewards. The fuel pumps are incredibly slow. About 2 gallons per minute. Wasted a lot of time here.

This rating is strictly for the woman you had working there Wednesday night 1/24/18 at around 7pm-8pm. I go in to pay for my gas and no one is at the counter. I figure no big deal happens all the time because workers get busy. Do I look around and I see her. She just stares at me, no hello or I'll be right there. She saunters slowly to the counter and just stares at me again. Again, no hello or how are you doing? So it's like a bad western where we're just staring at each other. So me, the customer, yells out "how are you doing today?" Now being that I'm spending money at your establishment, is it too much to ask for a little greeting? A little acknowledgement? If your workers are in a bad mood or don't want to be there, maybe get ones that do. The people I have dealt with before were usually very friendly read more

Corner of Fair Oaks and Watt. Prices listed are supposedly reduced if cash or Chevron Card are used, however the pump charges at a higher rate than listed. Per the advertised prices listed on the sign, the price for diesel was $4.09 for cash or Chevron card, or $4.19 for any other payment method. I used my Chevron card and was charged $4.13/gallon. This happened to my husband a couple of weeks ago at the same station. I thought it was a mistake or that the sign outside was just inaccurate, but now I realize it's a business practice. When I went inside to see what was going on, the person behind the counter gave me $.44 cent difference owed to me, and didn't act at all taken back. There is no telling how many people think they are getting the fuel at the price advertised only to be charged more without their knowledge. read more

On Thursday morning, 11/1/18, I went to the Chevron on Fair Oaks and Watt to get gas before I went to the gym. I went in and I gave the clerk $40 to put on pump 8. After filling up my gas with $26 of gas, I went back in to buy a Red Bull and my change. There was a customer ahead of me (a big guy), but his card wasn't working, so he told me to go ahead. The cashier rings up my change from pump 8, which should have been exactly $14, but the cashier gives me $3.93 instead. I told her that it should have been $14, but she said that her register says $3.93. I told her that I would go get a picture of the pump to prove that I did put $26 in my tank, and the change should have been $14. I went out, took the pic, and went back in and showed her the picture that I did in fact put $26 in my tank, but she didn't even bother working with me. I told her that I am owed $14 dollars, but insists of giving me $3.93. She said that I can talk to her manager when the manager gets in at 6 a.m. At this point, I was getting frustrated because I felt that I was being lied to. I wanted to know who the owner was of the station, and again she tells me that the manager will be in at 6 a.m. I then stormed out in frustration because I did not want to wait 30 minutes for the manager to show up due to the cashier's lack of attentiveness and her incompetence. When I got home, I looked at the receipt and it showed that I was charge $9.35 worth of items. One Red Bull does NOT cost $9.35; it was at least around $4.50 at the most out the door (given the size of the can). I'm not sure how I wound up being charged with $9.35 for an item, but if the cashier was attentive, she would have caught that mistake. This is customer service at its worse!! Now, I'm out at least $14 (minus the cost of one Red Bull). I'm planning on talking with the owner or manager of this station later today by phone. read more
