The person managing the wash inside, Pama, was especially sweet and kind. He took the time to really power wash my car well, which I appreciated. They even gave me a free microfiber towel, which was a nice touch. Great service, great prices, and definitely one of the best car washes in the area. I've been going here for the past 3 years and the managers there has always been consistent on his performance and offers quality service and has been a great asset to the location. The car wash experience is great as the soap is reasonable amount and the water amount is generous so you don't leave with a bunch of soap unlike a lot of other locations. The car does come spotless 9.8/10 times. The location has been improving a lot of the years with a bunch of technology and ALPR cameras and their online platform. After my car came through the wash, I was directed to the finishing area where an employee was supposed to apply the tire shine. Instead, the employee simply walked away and left. No explanation. After waiting and looking around, it became obvious that nobody had any idea I was still waiting. At that point I had to either continue wasting my time or leave without receiving the full service I paid for. How does a business not have someone available to cover when an employee leaves their station? If someone needs a break or their shift ends, that's understandable, but customers shouldn't be left sitting there with an unfinished service because no one is assigned to take over. It wasn't about the tire shine itself. It was about the complete lack of communication and accountability. A simple "Someone else will be with you shortly" would have made all the difference. There were obvious dirty areas that were simply not cleaned -- the floor mats were still dirty, there were drink stains and residue around the cup holders and center console, and the inside of the windshield was poorly wiped down. I also noticed that the towels being used looked dirty, which may explain some of the results. From the beginning, I clearly asked how much it would cost to have the car fully cleaned, inside and outside, and I was quoted $45. I understand that $45 is not a detailing price, and I was not expecting professional detailing. However, I did expect a proper basic car wash and interior cleaning. I would have gladly paid more if I had been told that a better-quality service would cost more. What disappointed me even more was the administrator's attitude. Instead of trying to understand my concerns or offer a solution, he became argumentative and defensive. We used to bring our car to A1 Hand Car Wash almost every other week and for a while they did a really great job. Unfortunately, over time the prices continued to go up while the quality of service steadily went downhill. They stopped providing basic items that were supposed to be included, constantly claiming they were "out" of them. Paper floor mats were no longer being placed in the vehicle, windows were missed, vacuuming was incomplete, and overall the cleaning became extremely inconsistent, including frequently being out of the fragrance chips they used to provide. Almost every visit turned into us having to point out multiple things that were skipped before we could even leave. What became even more frustrating was how much longer the process started taking. We were paying premium prices yet receiving rushed and incomplete service while waiting longer and longer each visit. Eventually we contacted the manager directly because we had been loyal customers and simply wanted the service we were paying for. He told us to bring the car back and assured us he would "take care of it." When we returned, instead of correcting the poor experience, he offered us "half off" another wash, meaning we were still expected to pay again to fix a problem that should have been handled properly the first time. Even worse, after he quoted us a reduced price, the employee taking payment refused to honor it and tried charging us even more. At that point there was a long line behind us, and we were frustrated, embarrassed, and exhausted from arguing over something that never should have happened in the first place. We paid the extra amount, received the same sloppy and incomplete job they now normally provide, and left. That was the last time we ever went there and we will never return. We now make sure to tell our friends and family not to waste their money there either, and we felt it was important to share our experience here so others can avoid wasting both their time and money. The most disappointing part wasn't even just the poor cleaning quality. It was the complete lack of accountability and customer service after years of loyalty and a significant amount of money spent there over time. When a business charges high-end prices, customers expect high-end service. Unfortunately, that's no longer what this place provides.
