I really don't remember how I became acquainted with the Fair Program Project ~ if I contacted them or they contacted me. By the time we spoke, I had lost count of the number of people I had spoken to over the past year and a half and I did not want to hear anything from anyone else. I had been trying to work thru my lenders (and three servicing companies since 2007) trying to get modification assistance with no success. Tons of paperwork, delays, lies, denials ~ the works ~ you name it! So, I decided to file bankruptcy in 2015, because I was done. I had already recovered from being angry about this entire process and had released this property in my mind. I was actually looking forward to not having responsibility for it anymore, even though I would lose the potential equity thru bankruptcy. After the bankruptcy was discharged, I listed the property, hoping to sell it before it went to foreclosure. This property (a two family duplex) is located in Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County that is a rent controlled city which makes the sales process so complicated. I felt like I had heard everything that anyone could tell me about "programs", all the lies, big broken promises, pie in the sky deals - you name it, I'd heard it. The representative from Fair Program tried with everything she had to convince me that their programs were different, but I was totally not being cooperative with her. I don't know why I even talked to her as long as I did, because my normal behavior had become ~ shut them down immediately and not waste any time with these solicitations. I agreed to talk to the consultant, and was transferred to David. He explained their program in detail while gathering information from me about my situation. We had a very interesting exchange of ideas, information, etc. The tone was never argumentative or adversarial, but we were both very determined in our positions. My position continued to be ~"been here before". He continued to emphasize, who they were, what they could do, how they could do it and "this won't cost you anything, what do you have to lose"? He was such a pleasant, calm person, with lots of interesting stories and history on their companies' performance, their mission and their successes. He was not a bit swayed by my continued resistance. Finally, I allowed myself to calm down and open up to "hear" what he was saying. We continued with a very positive conversation and I agreed to meet with them to review my situation in detail. Note: The foreclosure process had already begun on my property. I met with David and his staff, toured the office and was thoroughly educated on their businesses, the company, their goals, and their successes. They really took the time to ensure that I felt comfortable that they were legitimate and that my best interest was what was most important. They were excellent host! We spent hours reviewing my documents and strategizing to develop a path forward that was realistic and achievable. I really did not believe that they would be able to pull this deal thru based on past experiences, but I made the commitment to do my part in the process. I don't even begin to know what when on behind the scenes, but I do know that there was a lot of work just based on the amount of contact I had with David and the staff during the process. To my surprise, "They did it ~ in record time"! When David called me with the terms I was so surprised I was speechless. They were absolutely awesome! They delivered everything they committed to and were totally professional, courteous, and conscientious about timelines, following up to ensure that nothing was missed or fell thru the cracks. I am into my trial period, have made my second payment and everything is okay so far. We still need to see what the final numbers look like after my trial period. I am so happy that I was led to them and that I listened ~ I am looking forward to having them sell the property for me when things settle down a bit. I totally recommend them to anyone who is having a similar challenge with their property and need help from an honest, committed team of professionals. I bought my house in 2006, which some may say it was almost at the peak of the housing market I liked my house so much that it didn't eve matter that my interest rate was so high I was doing well and never missed a payment till I lost my job, during the process of finding a new job my saving and 401k was drained now keep in mind I am an immigrant and for me buying a house was a dream come true once I got behind with my payment those night mare phone call started they were practically calling me every day till they would talk to me to tell me the payment is late and would get a break for a day or two than again calling me nonstop according to them collection activity and credit reporting continues till the account is brought paid in full, by having a job and losing a job and having a job again on and off I kept getting behind from 30 days late to 60 days late to doing everything to keep it below 90 days and accumulating a late fee that is a so abusive, all that pressure placed a big toll on everything in my life from the way I looked at myself and losing respect for myself for being bullied by the bank to being depressed and sad the center of my life had become getting the money to the bank and hoping I would get a rep that won't try to force me to pay two payment telling me we cannot accept less than two payment from you where I only owed 3 payment I tried the re payment program by the bank I tried the reinstatement game by borrowing money and get the bank out of my house but to no avail by this time they had made me an escrow account increased my payment to include taxes which made it harder to keep up .on top of that my loan was sold to another bank which was funny I remember I just got transfer to the new bank and calling them so they can tell me I am 3 months behind the only had the loan for less than a month but here they were bulling me already calling me Sunday morning which I viewed as harassment call all of that abusive made me look for a way to take control of it this is where fair program rep Mr. Adam Gerber comes in the only person that made me realize that I was the owner of my house and I had options talking to Adam has change me from felling like a victim to being in control of my house and what I need to do, i am in the middle of modification which I hope will go my way keeping my fingers crossed but if it doesn't I have plan B to fall on the point is with help from Adam I know I won't lose my house to foreclosure which is a big relief my advice to people in my position is don't get abused by the bank if you are behind your loans call Mr. Adam Gerber at fair program and he will tell you what your options are don't wait too long cause that would just put more pressure on you and give the bank the upper hand knowledge is power and Adam will put his knowledge so you can have the upper hand always remember you are the owner of your house thank you Adam for all the time and consideration you have shown me thank you so much !!!!!!!!!! read more

The FAIR Program is truly a program to trust. The individuals that represent this organization are truly professional, knowledgeable, and advocate on your behalf. They are ethical and understand how to maneuver through the obstacles that banks set for people who are desperately seeking to save their home. I experienced not one, not two, not three, but six rejections for a loan modification-- when I should have been a poster child for what a financial hardship looks like. Yet, the bank denied me, even after doing everything they asked of me. As discouraging as this experience was for me, my faith remained strong. I prayed after speaking to the loan servicer who made me feel less than human. I just remember, thanking God for His faithfulness and saying please send someone to help! At that moment, my phone rang and this man named David stated he was calling on behalf of the FAIR Program. I thought, oh' here we go some gimmick another trick of the enemy, but in reality it was God's plan to answering my prayer I had just prayed. Because I was skeptical, I took his information and stated I couldn't talk. A few days later, David called me back and shared what the program was about. I remember thinking to myself what do you have to lose? I agreed to come in for a meeting and he sent me an email of what was required. My first impression of David was that he truly wanted to alleviate the unnecessary stress from my overall experience. He looked over my paperwork, explained what the possible outcomes could be and made no promises, which I appreciated. After all the logistics were covered, he went to work and stated that he would follow up with me through the entire process. I am extremely pleased as I write this review. Please note my experience with Jeorge, Andrew and the F.A.I.R Program was so real, devine and heaven sent. My husband and I tried to get our mortgage modified for 6 long years back to back, every year, resulting in no help from our bank. Following so many attempts a family member gave us a contact person who she believed was able to help us. During the first week in November 2015 I contacted Jeorge from the F.A.I.R Program. The day following our phone conversation my husband and I met Jeorge in his office and he immediately went to work for us. Jeorge called our bank while in our presence to find out the details and options concerning our loan, based on the details and our long cry for help with no success we made a decision to sell our home. What happen the days following our meeting was simply AMAZING!!!! Day 2 our home was listed on the market, two weeks later we had a interested buyer and our home went into escrow. Jeorge introduced my husband and I to Andrew (relocation specialist) who is an AWESOME person and due to his deligence in helping us find a place to live, the third week we found our new home. It's so amazing how so much happen for us in such a short time. Our escrow closed November 21st, we received proceeds just a estimated and promised through Jeorge, such a blessing we recieved more monies than was actually calculated after all was said and done. The FAIR Program lives up to its name. All in part because of the people who work the program to assist you. My deepest gratitude for David, Nick, William, Sean and the entire team. I had spent 6 years plus attempting to Modify my Loan and the Mortgage company made it so difficult. I tried for years to do all the right things to keep my property and the system that was built to have its consumers fail, was winning. I had given up hope and fell behind. Something I never thought I would do, and something that had me feel as if I had failed. When all was almost lost, the FAIR Program team called me. They stopped the house from being Foreclosed. They met with me personally. They talked me through the process and they gave me a sense that someone was willing to help in all they ways they could. They made a process that I had now cringed from be a process I was able to get through. They handled every step of the way with solid information, upfront details, and they ensured that I not only understood, but I felt good taking each step. With all the delays and things to do, the team, Especially David D, got the paperwork done and we ended up with a Short Sale. Everyone came out with what they wanted or needed and it was done with integrity and respect. Because of David and the FAIR team I could close a chapter in my life that had pulled me down and had me feel bad about myself and the situation. They allowed me to gather my composure and my dignity and set me on a path that brings promise of the future I intend to build. A few months ago when our property went into pre-foreclosure, someone from the Fair Program stopped by our house and offered to help us with the Loan Modification process. We did not think much of the visit since many other people and organizations had also stopped by to offer the same programs. There was one difference in the way the Fair Program representative expressed himself that made them stand out in our minds, something honest about him. Many months later, after trying out various other services and programs and solutions, and basically waiting for a miracle, we finally decided to call the Fair Program. We met with Jeremy and he walked us through the entire process. I have to say we were a bit skeptical at first just because we had dealt with so many other people that had just wasted our time. Jeremy was up front about what services and assistance they were going to provide and what the outcome might be. The partnership that the Fair Program has with the investment and real estate groups gave us pause but he assured us that the final decisions would be ours and that there was really nothing that could be done without our signatures. Basically, if our bank did not approve our Loan Modification, we would allow the Fair Program's partners to represent us in the sale of our home, that was it. We never got that far because our bank approved the modification with the help of Jeremy and his team of experts. Jeremy Klein and the rest of the FAIR Program are true heroes. He came to us in our darkest hour, and his patience, commitment, and knowledge shined a light on our path to success. We came to FAIR hopeful that we could keep our house. But we knew our situation was tenuous. Jeremy sat with us and provided a detailed breakdown of our situation we could easily understand. He pushed hard for what we wanted, but also showed us a different perspective and that the numbers might make sense a different way. Through the process, he became a friend. We were sad when we realized we couldn't save our home, but more than sad we were relieved. We had all the information we needed to make an informed decision, and in the end, we completed a Short Sale and found a new and better place to call home we can afford. With the help of Scherrie Liely in the Relocation Department, we are back on our feet and pushing forward in ways we didn't think were possible just a few months ago. Our credit is improving. Our savings are increasing. Financially and emotionally we are back to where we only dreamed we'd be. I was first contacted very early in the process by (I feel bad about this but I forgot his name, he was very nice and very helpful, but I was working with someone else at the time. As it turned out, He came back by again, and we had not gotten the results we wanted with the person we had been working with, so we sat down with him, he got all our info and took it back to them and set an appointment to talk to Elliot. We totally missed our appointment with Elliot, but as it turned out, he had an appointment in Norwalk later that day, and he had time to come to our house directly, and we took care of all the paperwork and contacted our lender, everything right there. Elliot took our info back and and gave it to Art, who from then on, let us know the status of our file. I am happy to say Art called me and told me we got our modification, this has lifted a whole lot of pressure off of us. Thank you all at the Fair Program, and BTW I rated those 2 bad reviews as funny, because if those people had really worked with you, they would have no complaints. November of last year the day before Thanksgiving I received a call from the Fair Program regarding my real estate issue. My husband was suffering from cancer (still is) and I told them I couldn't do it at this time. I told them I would reschedule after the holidays. I received another call from Karla and said that we couldn't wait and that we needed to do something today. Karla was kind enough to come over to house the same day along with Harry and explain the program to us. We decided to get it started immediately and it was the best thing for us. We had hired an attorney that was resigning and they never told us they were leaving and I almost lost my home. Dealing with the mortgage company by myself was very stressful. It seems as though I was repeating myself and not getting anywhere with them. They would ask me over and over for my profit loss statement. I am a union worker and don't have a profit loss statement, which I tried communicating with my lender, Mr. Cooper. No matter how many times I would tell them this, they would just continue to ask for it anyways without finding some kind of workaround or even helping me. When I called the Fair Program, the team took charge, communicated with my mortgage company, and required that I do my work on my end of course. But once I accomplished the things I was supposed to do, Fair was able to mediate with the mortgage company. And when it seemed like going around with them stopped and they received understanding, I knew that Art was doing exactly what he said he would do for me. Within 2-3 weeks, I got my loan modification approved. I wanted to first start off by saying how FANTASTIC the F.A.I.R. Program is!!! My parents have spent the last 8 years trying to obtain a loan modification. Several of their attempts were with predators that promised them results, charged them a huge fee and then disappeared with their hard-earned money. A friend of ours recommended the F.A.I.R. Program to us and we are so glad they did!! From day one everyone was simply amazing! They helped my parents with the whole loan modification process and totally put their mind at ease!! The FAIR Program and staff are just amazing!!! I was at the end of all my hope, trying to save my home from foreclosure when I received a call from Mike Nevin. At first I thought it was strange that he called and I waited 2 weeks to get back to him. I am so glad I did, my husband and I went in and met with Mike and he made a call to our lender right then and there. I was finally able to get some sleep and not stress over loosing our home as they were working with my lender to make sure they had what they needed to modify my mortgage. Long story short, the lender approved the modification and we get to keep our home, all because they were on it and calling the lender constantly. William Willmarth truly saved me from a potentially devastating situation. After paying over $2000 to C & C Solutions, a company in Downey, to assist me in averting a potential foreclosure, 4 months went by and C & C Solutions did nothing to help. Out of desperation, I contacted my real estate agent of 18 years and she referred me to William. Immediately I could tell that William was in the business of helping people. He was honest, hopeful, professional and extremely reliable. Although I was not paying William nor Fair Program to represent me, he followed through in a timely manner on all conference calls with the mortgage company and articulated my situation so well that within less than 2 weeks of contacting the mortgage company, my modification (which had lapsed on my part) was reinstated. If you're looking to buy a house. Or you're looking at foreclosure or anything in that area. This is the place to be. The person who helped me and my family get out of a bad situation with our landlord. He was collecting payments (rent) on the house but come to find out, the guy was never paying the rent. So now we're looking a short sale of the house. Luckily we found this program of great people to help us, and set us up to where we can find something in our budget and somewhere safe. We were set up with Andrew who seem very confident in what he was doing, Very professional, Funny guy and also got the job done when needed. I was contacted by the Fair Program. I was reluctant to take the call, however with all of the red tape I was going through with Ocwen, I thought it wouldn't hurt. I went on the internet to look them up and I liked what I read and made an appointment, met with Marlon and Harry. They basically recommended that I continue with the paperwork with Ocwen. Then, Ocwen continued to be difficult and once again I called Marlon who started the process over for me. That is when they brought Art into the picture. He was in contact with Ocwen, made sure the paperwork was being completed and processed properly. They always kept in contact with me and I now have my trial modification. These people are awesome. If you come on a weekend, there's food, coffee, cookies, and everyone is very helpful, generous, smiling...and they validate parking! Hopefully I'm done but I would not hesitate to contact the Fair Program again. read more

I really dislike rating an entire business....when there are shining stars, who become shadowed by other members in the organization. If I could just rate the shining stars of the Fair Program, I would give a 7-star rating. First, my initial contact and the person who saw me at my best and worst thru-out my real estate situation: Kim Gueshe.....a phenomenal woman and agent....truly a gem...and a lady who went to bat for me from beginning to end. Second: Angela, my favorite Relocation Specialist.... if not for Angela, my son would be living on the streets. Angela also saw me at my best and worst...and never gave up...even tho there were many days I just wanted to wither away. The Fair Program is lucky to have these 2 women as part of their organization. My home was scheduled to go to Auction 15 days after Nick showed up at my door. I was terrified and lost in what to do. Nick informed me of a possible loan modification program, as well as the other services they provide in the event I could not keep my home. Within a few hours, I received a call from Erick who specializes in same. The following day I meet with them. Erick has worked extremely quick and efficient in getting my paperwork to the Lender. Nick, Erick and Dominic have far exceeded my expectations. They have kept me up to date, answered all my questions, and then some.
