Pumpkin area

It's a cute little farm. Parking is a little bit of a disaster. Very tight unless you find some outside. You get to pet the goats and feed the birds. I got to watch little chicks hatching the day we went. There were Mama pigs with their newborn piglets that were so cute! But another area of the pigs housing felt like it needed to cleaned up a little more, the smell was very strong. I wasn't a huge fan of the pumpkin area. It was a little bit in disarray and a lot of the pumpkins were rotted. There was a tiny little corn maze, but sadly it was very muddy, so rain boots are a must. The ending is a cute area to get pictures of the kids if you have some! If the place was a little more spruced up and a little more TLC I think it would be perfect.

This is the best farm/pumpkin patch for families with small children. They have a great set up where you can visit and feed the birds and see other animals before you finish by picking out the perfect pumpkin in their huge fields. Thanks for opening up your farm to the public to enjoy!

My mother discovered this little gem! When we arrived we were so surprised! From outside you cannot tell how big it actually is. They have so many cute animals you can feed, touch and get close to ! My kiddos absolutely love animals so they had such a blast. They did not want to leave. The pumpkins are really big and tons to pick from. We will definitely make this our go to farm from now on. We loved everything about it nothing negative to say here!

The farm isn't the best farm there is, but there are a lot of baby animals and fun things for kids to do. Highly recommended for kids, but not so much for adults because it's very family-oriented. The pumpkin patch isn't all that great either; there is a very limited selection of nice pumpkins, but of course, it's for the experience. My favorite highlights were seeing the piglets, calf and baby goats! Best of all, you could pet most of them! It was incredible to see the baby animals and they have this chick incubator where there were at least 20 chicks inside. Pretty amazing. There are lots of photo opportunities and random thins for kids to play on, like a tunnel to crawl through, a "find the money" in a haystack activity, as well as a huge teepee for kids to run around in. I took my Little on a Sunday and it was packed! If the parking lot gets full, I'd suggest parking across the street by the houses.

Before you go to Fairbank Animal Farm, there's a few things you need to do. First, wait until October of each year because that is when they are open to the public. Second, pick up cash ahead of time because that's all they take and there is no ATM nearby. My first visit to the farm was two years ago. I was a little tired of driving from Seattle to different pumpkin patches and wanted to find something closer. After a bit of searching on the google machine, I decided on this one. Admission will run you $2.50. Upon entering, you are provided with a cup of food to feed the birds. Don't forget to bring enough cash for your pumpkins and do your math ahead of time since there is no "cash register," just manual adding which may or may not be correct. I love the country feel of the farm - it makes for a lot of great pictures. Lots of hay bales, country displays, and fall decorations are everywhere. I have to say that I am afraid that I will be there when it gets dark because the same fun loving farm can easily turn into a pretty decent horror movie. (Note to self: Ask for permission to film cheap B movie.) Anyhow, when you enter the farm, you will find multiple varieties of ducks and chickens in cages that you can feed. Also in cages are pygmy goats (super cute) and pigs (kind of cute, depending on size). A barn holds a few more animals but from my perspective, the bunnies and chicks steal the show. There is an incubator where chicks are in various stages of hatching and another area where older chicks are. Kids love to "pet" the animals but be sure to use the hand sanitizer. After browsing around the farm, you can grab a cart and head up the hill to check out some pumpkins and a little mini-corn maze. The pumpkin prices are marked on the pumpkins. A medium-smallish pumpkin is between $8 - $10 so plan accordingly since it's cash only. If you're looking for huge bells and whistles like other pumpkin patches, this isn't for you. But, if you're looking to buy your pumpkins from somewhere other than a grocery store and a bit of a country feel, then you are in the right place.

The Farm was a neat little place in Edmonds. Went with Grandson and he had a great time as there are many animals and their pumpkin patch is big. Was pretty crowded Saturday morning but it was manageable. No great pumpkin sightings but maybe next year

Charming little pumpkin patch with farm animals your little one can pet. Looking at Fairbank outside we thought parking and navigating our large jogger stroller would be an issue, but we had no problem getting in and out or moving our stroller through the farm.

I want to give them a 5 so bad! But I can't this sweet pregnant goat protecting this tiny goat behind here was terrified! I mean the kids were running around chasing the animals and terrifying the animals, and the employees were not stepping and removing the animals from scary situations. It's not right to use them for our entertainment. Protect your Animals Please

The poor ducks swimming in muddy water.

On Friday, 10/25/13, I took a group of 15 young adults with intellectual disabilities-who paid $6 each to visit the animals and pick a pumpkin. The condition the animals were living in were deplorable; it smelled so badly of feces (as if it had not been cleaned for months); the cages seem inadequate and run down, and were just full of mud/feces. There was a little duck that was obviously not doing well when we first arrived. Before long, he was on the ground (nearly dead). His foot was twitching for a little while then he died. We told 'farmer Kathy ' our tour leader and she did nothing; we were not the only group there. (see attached pictures of the living conditions of the ducks) Many school groups with very young children followed us and the dead duck remained in the pen. I have made a report to animal control and Pasado's Safe Haven. The pumpkin 'patch' was nothing more then a grassy patch filled with mud where pumpkins were dumped for kids to 'pick'. The whole tour took about 25 minutes-a huge waste of money. This so called 'farm' deserves to get shut down. Do not take your family here.

Firstly, $10 for 12 hour parking (the only option they offered) when typically on Sundays parking is free (at least at the Port Orchard farmers market it is), and we only planned on stopping by for some farm fresh vegetables and sticking around for maybe an hour. There were maybe a total of 18-20 tents all selling crafts and things of that nature. We saw household plants, but nothing "farm" related. We paid $10 for parking to essentially wander off outside the Kingston ferry terminal where the majority of shops were either closed or uninteresting. I saw another Yelp review put it perfectly, "less on the farm more on the market". The live music was ok and brought about a decent atmosphere, unfortunately that was the only redeeming quality of this experience. Again, maybe it was the time of year (end of July) or maybe it was the heat. It wasn't worth the 27 minute drive nor the $10 parking when we were there maybe 15 minutes. Go to the one in Port Orchard, they actually sell vegetables and great stuff from local farmers. I didn't take pictures because it was so depressing.

REDMOND SATURDAY MARKET @ REDMOND…read more Parking is available along the street, although it can get busy on weekends. If you are unable to find street parking, Redmond Town Center offers a free parking garage that is only a short walk away, making parking convenient overall. I absolutely love the Redmond Saturday Market. It is one of my favorite places to visit on the weekends. They always have fresh produce with a great selection of fruits and vegetables, along with many local vendors selling handmade jewelry, artwork, baked goods, and other unique products. It is a wonderful place to support small businesses while enjoying the local community. One of my favorite things about Redmond is how walkable the area is. After visiting the market, you can walk around Redmond Town Center, browse the shops, grab something to eat, or simply enjoy the atmosphere. There are also plenty of seating areas throughout the town center, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy your food or take a break. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by the Redmond Saturday Market if you are in the area. It is a great way to spend a weekend morning, support local businesses, and enjoy everything that downtown Redmond has to offer.

It was cloudy out with a gentle breeze, perfect for a stroll through the market. There was live music to liven up the place under the gloomy skies. There were quite a few vendors selling beautiful vibrant flowers, lots of peonies. We were leaving in a couple of days, so didn't buy any. We found a bakery tucked in the far corner of the market with no line, but a line quickly formed behind us. They had so many pastries to choose from. I decided on a twice baked almond croissant, and my friend got the apple fritter which looked more like monkey bread. We took those back home to try. Unfortunately, the croissant was quite a letdown due to the texture. The other was not like a fritter (not fried). In hindsight, we should've tried heating them up.

Haven't met a farmers market we didn't like!! Till now!!…read more I get that its covid. But man this place is snobby. And very much un-fun!! They have lines/tape around all over so you can't just enter. You do have to walk all the way to 5th and something for an entry. Which also include a huge line, a very unnecessary loud teenage band playing ( tone deaf loud) next to all the restaurants/their outdoor seats. You cant social distance even if you try. All I wanted was some fresh flowers for the cemetery and we ended up walking the whole market twice from outside trying to find an entrance. They do have a different entrance where they turn everyone away in the scorching hot heat! And last but not least: No dogs allowed? What? Isn't that the whole point of farmers market? Family/dog friendly? Baci got his socializatio in as a tiny pupper from Ballard market. It's like a puppy parade every time you go there. We ended up skipping because of this!! I did see 2 old ladies left their dog outside, next to the loud as hell band so they can walk the market for something. We watched the sad pup the whole time till they return! Really though. No flowers/spices are worth leaving your beloved old dog behind Overall, the least fun farmers market ever!! if it werent for random facemask, you wouldnt even know there was covid. Hot! Over crowded! Many flowers stands. Not that special!
