She was having a conversation AT the front door as I was walking out, neither of them moved so I opened the door to leave and she screamed "excuse me!!!" like I'm sorry did u just scream at a paying customer bc you didn't move yourself from the only exit in the place? I cant stand this place but it's close, after today's interaction I will be finding a new place. I've been here a couple times. The staff is very friendly, they definitely care about the building and the equipment. When I am there they are wiping and sanitizing after every use of washer and dryer. I will say that if your new you may get the impression they are teaching you to do laundry but they are just caring about the place and equipment so everyone can use. I will say that things are priced to make money not for your convenience . Good selection of soaps but once again for profit. They also have drop off and pick up options, once again it's for profit so expect to pay but I will say the clothes will be folded very professionally and put into bags for easy pickup. Over all you really can't complain. It is clean, workers are nice, people going in are nice, it is a little Expensive but you pay for what you get. read more

I rarely use this type service... But oh boy! Had no idea that this wasn't coin base. Travelers BEWARE: this is a key card operated machine to which you must initially purchase, no refund. Ridiculous! More ridiculous is that there isn't a website that tells you this in advance. So not good for those passing thru!! Plus, machine usage is wayyyyyyy over priced. Management will insist on how much you may load into these very industrial machines, making cost MORE expensive. NOT 24 hour service. Wi-Fi connection... Meh. On the bright side of things, there is a good pizza place few doors down. read more

My boyfriend and I just moved in together. This is the closet laundromat to our new apartment. Every time we have been there, the owners has yelled at customers children, bothered people about how much laundry they have, check the washers after we are done to see if there is any dents from our zippers. Even though they personally haven't yelled at us, it is completely uncomfortable going to this establishment. Recently I went at 6:30 to complete my laundry... I didn't even get through the door before the man gave me an attitude and said they close at 8. Good. I'll go somewhere else and never come back again.. now I drive an extra 15 mins to a better laundromat. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

I love this laundromat. It is clean and the machines are new or seem to be new because they are so well maintained. The owners are all family members. Overall this place is immaculate. The best place to wash your clothes and not feel weirded out. The reason why I do not give it five stars is very simple. As a regular here, I know how things work and the capacity of the machines. Also, I almost always only have 2 loads. The reason why do not give it five stars is simple. One, I believe the machines are a bit overpriced. They should make the small ones $2.75 instead of $3.00 and the large ones are $6.75 when they should honestly be around $5.50. Secondly, after a long day at work and with two loads I don't need a full explanation as to why I shouldn't use a medium load for 1 comforter. The capacity of a medium machine is two loads according to the owner. Which means the comforter would've been washed without a problem. She insisted so much that I just went ahead and put it in a $6.75 machine. Quite honestly it annoyed the hell out of me, but I was respectful and just told her that I would do as she advised. I wouldn't have minded the advise if I was putting 3 different comforters in a medium machine or if I was one of those people that have 3-6 baskets of laundry. But I am here almost weekly and I know how much you can put in a washing machine. I normally use 2 small machines that should tell you how little laundry I have. Today was the day to wash my comforter and the total I spent on 1 medium and 1 large around $13 without drying. This isn't a coin laundry either. Everything is with a card issued by an automated machine. They have beverages and snacks available for purchase as well. read more

They really give back to the community, some months there was give always even once were tickets to the football game . Over all just a great place . You can get Snacks water soda ect. I highly recommend this laundromat. When I called, the lady that picked up was very friendly and offered to give me directions if I needed. The staff is very kind and helpful. Every new person that came in was walked through the process of using the machines and I was even assisted in getting my new laundry card which is currently only $1.00. The machines are good. They have small and very large machines for comforters and large loads. I drove a bit more to get here but I am very satisfied. read more

Both attendants were very helpful and welcoming to this laundromat novice and his son. The machines were clean and appeared new and did not require a lot of time to clean and dry and king comforter. I went to Fairdale Laundromat because my plumbing at home is currently not working. I read good reviews about the cleanliness of this laundromat, to which I can agree. The place was definitely clean, however there are a few reasons I am giving them a 2 star rating. When I first walked in a worker came up to me, she was very friendly but soon after i started to feel uncomfortable. With her standing next to me, watching my every move, she proceeded to tell me how high I could fill the washer machine, as if I had never done laundry before. She continued to watch over my shoulder as I put my load of laundry in the machine. My entire load could have fit in the machine however I felt uncomfortable putting the rest in with her staring at me as I was loading it up. She then started to tell me how the laundromat worked ... you get a card which you have to pay one dollar for then put money on the card. Fine the one dollar charge did not bother me. I let her know I had some more laundry to bring in before i was going to pay . I brought those in and before I could even put the bag on the floor she said I think you're going to need more than one machine for that. This really bothered me. I know how to do laundry and that you can't overfill the machine. With her standing there I unloaded most of the bag and felt obligated to put the rest in a third machine. After unloading the rest of my wash I was ready to put the money on my pre paid card. The workers then told me I would need about 27 dollars on the card to cover the cost of my three loads of laundry . TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS. Though I haven't been to a laundromat in about a year, I know the last one I had been to cost less to wash AND dry a larger amount of laundry. I was completely disappointed with my trip to Fairdale Laundromat and am truly regretting my decision to go there. I would not recommend this place read more
