Dr. Gina Cravato has been my go-to professional for hearing services for 10+ years. She recommended…read moreOticon hearing aids in 2013 and tweaked them for me over the years. Then, about a year ago, I experienced a sudden and dramatic hearing loss in my left ear. Dr. Cravato suggested a cochlear implant and while I was nervous, she guided me through the process. Her support, deep listening, and encouragement over the years have made a world of difference. A shout out to Dr. Cravato and the staff at Hearing Associates of Northern Virginia for their professionalism and caring manner. I highly recommend this practice.

What an extraordinary practice: kind, caring & competent audiologists; knowledgable support staff & an office well stocked with fairly-priced hearing aid accessories. When my mother moved from Florida to Baltimore, I went to this practice (not far from my home) to purchase new rechargeable batteries for her hearing aids. When I told the receptionist that the batteries were supposed to last about a year, but were not working after 5 months, she immediately consulted with Dr. Gina Crovato. Dr. Crovato told me that a recently identified defect in the hearing aid battery doors contributed to the loss of power & said she could replace them if I just brought in the hearing aids, which I did. My Mom had already seen another audiologist in Baltimore, who did not seem to be aware of this problem. My mother has since seen Dr. Kelsey Trinka, who is so patient, listens carefully and was able to make some needed adjustments in the hearing aids. My mother is slowing down & Dr. Trinka made sure she was comfortable & never rushed her. When another problem came up & I thought the warranty had expired on the hearing aids, Dr. Trinka took time to check the purchase/warranty papers from the Florida audiologist where the hearing aids were purchased, and verified with the manufacturer that the repair warranty is still valid for many months. I have accompanied my mother on multiple visits to audiologists in Pennsylvania, Maryland & Florida, as she moved. After her first pair of hearing aids were purchased in Pennsylvania, the audiologist said "See you in two years", as though her job, selling the hearing aids, was done. It takes considerable training & expertise to program hearing aids & I now understand that adjustments may be needed over several months to fine-tune programming as the wearer gets acclimated. This audiology practice is clearly committed to ensuring that the most up-to-date technology is working properly to service hearing impairment in a very patient-centered manner. I highly recommend this practice, because the purchase of hearing aids is not an end in itself; everyone needs competent follow-up support to make the most of that investment over time.

I've been to many ENT clinics over many years, but it's truly rare to find someone who is not only highly skilled but also genuinely caring. I've struggled for years with allergies, asthma, a deviated septum, and chronic sinus issues. Dr. Egan performed my surgery, and the results have been amazing. This was my first surgery, and I was honestly surprised by how little pain I experienced afterward. Even my family is more excited and relieved than I am because of how smoothly everything went. what really stood out to me was how kind and compassionate he is - he treats his patients with such warmth, alomost like family. In 39 years, I've never met a doctor like him. I highly recommend Dr. Egan without hesitation. Meeting him and having my surgery done by him has been of the best decisions I've made in 2026.

Fairfax ENT's post-surgical documentation for septoplasty patients says specifically that you'll be numbed for stent removal but they are not telling the truth. Both the PA, Claire, and the doctor (O'Halloran) were dismissive and really did not listen. When I finally asked how long, the woman I spoke to had no idea what I was talking about. Finally someone said I was next and they were preparing the room. Several minutes later nobody came out and I left. I know another doctor who has referred me and their office said he usually runs behind. I understand things come up with patients but to have a reputation for running late tells me that Dr. O'hallaran doesn't care about anybody's time but his own. To keep patients backed up is selfish, disrepectful, and unacceptable. If Dr. O'halloran knows he usually runs behind then make fewer appointments with patients spread out more. Seeing the other reviews of this practice I am not alone in having issues. I was there for my appointment on time. I respect the practice and the doctor's time. I wish Dr. O'hallaran respected his prospective patients equally.
