Decided to stay at this hotel because of the decent price and amenities. Upon check-in, found out that the pool was closed and breakfast was not an option. This information was not on the website. Initial room had a weird smell so I had to request a new one. The room was OK but I didn't appreciate the visible toenail clippings on the floor. Check out was at noon but received a knock on the door at 11 AM stating that I needed to leave immediately because it was past checkout. This was not the best experience so I will not be staying here again.

The service really stood out from check in to check out. Everyone from housekeeping to the front desk, was friendly and welcoming every time I passed by or needed anything it was a great encounter. It was every staff member. I chose self parking in the garage over valet. Plenty of parking and easy to access. The restaurants are good. I frequented Loaf + Vine Market quite a bit, along with Starbucks upstairs, then High Velocity, and the lobby bar. Nice to have solid options right in the hotel. The room felt luxurious with great amenities with wood accents in the foyer, floor to ceiling windows, a safe, mini fridge, full size ironing board, great bathroom, plenty of hot water (32nd floor), a nice desk area for working, and a good size TV. The workout facilities were great too with water and fresh fruit provided. No downsides during my stay. Overall, really impressed with both the service and the experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Entry required being buzzed through locked double doors on both sides of the vestibule, which, rather than reassuring, reinforced the impression of a space struggling with control and upkeep. The parking situation immediately added confusion and frustration. We were first required to pay for parking associated with the Hilton property, and then instructed to move the car into a separate paid parking structure at an adjacent office building across the alley. What had been advertised as a straightforward $20 fee ultimately became nearly $100 in combined charges, with no clear guidance upfront. Inside, the details continued to accumulate. Hard and soft surfaces alike appeared dirty or worn. Linens were incomplete. Toiletry dispensers were broken, with no body wash or shampoo available. The air itself carried a stale, unsettled smell, as though prior occupancy issues had not been properly resolved. Individually these might be minor inconveniences; together they pointed to a pattern of ongoing neglect. Beyond the building, the surrounding area introduced additional concerns. Despite being advertised as airport-adjacent, the property is a considerable drive from the airport. The immediate vicinity included frequent loitering and panhandling, which may be uncomfortable or concerning for many travelers. Even basic amenities began to feel questionable in this context. Given the visible lack of maintenance throughout the property, we found ourselves uneasy about the cleanliness and safety of the breakfast offerings--especially frustrating given that our stay was prepaid and non-refundable. Only after experiencing all of this does it become clear that the issue is not a single oversight but a systemic failure in maintenance, transparency, and management oversight. Between the unexpected parking costs, the unsanitary conditions, and the misleading location description, the overall experience felt deeply misrepresented. It is worth emphasizing that the employees themselves were consistently professional and hardworking--some appeared to be carrying more than one role at a time. Their effort was evident and appreciated. Unfortunately, their diligence could not overcome the broader deficiencies of the facility.

When we got into the room. The staff was super accommodating and made sure that we removed a few doors down to a room that was smoke-free. Room was a good quality. Double beds. Shower okay, no bathtub. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker. The only downside about the coffee maker was that the universal coffee and plastic attachments did not go with the machine. It should have been a closed environment, but it was not. Once you inserted the plastic coffee filter and place the coffee filter pod into the maker, there was a gap, which led to splashing of the hot water onto the coffee filter pod that led to coffee Bean all over the desk. Breakfast every morning. Waffles, either scrambled eggs or pre-cooked omelette, pork sausage, chicken sausage. Golden potatoes, yogurt, fruit, various breads, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Pretty good size dining room as well. On the second floor. Second floor was also where the fitness center was. The floors were labeled with having vending machines on floors 4 and 7:00, but I could not find any. There was a snack area on the first floor where you could purchase snacks by scanning with self-checkout. Refrigerated items, frozen items, candy, chips, etc. The only thing the room really needed was a deep clean. Crevices and corners could have used some extra care and love. Outside of that, no complaints. Security key required to get into the hotel, as well as up the elevator.

I called down the room service and she tells me that she's going to send someone up, twenty minutes later I called down... and she says, come on down, we're just going to change your room. I get all the way down there, just to move 2 rooms down after packing everything up and going down eleven floors, instead of them bringing ME up a new card for a new room. That is poor customer service. Let me be clear. They were not busy. I woke up at nine a m with a paper under my door. I received a charge of $585!!!!! Now let me just tell you, i went in my room and went right to sleep, because I was exhausted for my day of travel. This letter told me that I had been smoking in the room and charged me this amount. I immediately called down a customer service and was told that they would take it off when the manager came in at eleven o'clock. I was somewhat relieved at this, so I went on with my morning and got ready and went down and waited. The manager assured me that they would not charge my card and that I had not been charged yet. They went ahead and charged my card for the room. I checked my card and I had only been charged for the room and a $50 charge for a deposit. I left and went on with my day with a receipt, feeling confident that the manager had done her job. A couple hours later, I looked at my bank account, and I saw that I was charged after all . $585!!!!!! More . 4 hours later! I don't know if she thought I wouldn't see it or what! I called and she swore to me that I was in charge. So I sent her a snapshot and called her a liar. So then she told me that it would be removed and it would take 5 to 10 days! Can you believe that? They charge my card for something.I did not do five hundred and eighty five dollars and then tell me, it's going to take five to ten days to remove it! To top it off yesterday, i opened my bank account to see another $530 charge! This hotel has charged me $125 for a room, $54 for deposit and $530 that now they are SWEARING they have not charged me and calling ME A LIAR!!!! Let me be VERY CLEAR.... LET ME BE VERY CLEAR THEY HAVE CHARGED ME $1,294 !!!!!!! Seriously!!!!! THIS HOTEL HAS COST ME $300 IN OVERDRAFT NOW. I filed with my bank so they have put a stop to it. I want everyone to know how bad they are!!!!!!

Our suite was plenty spacious and had a fun urban/industrial vibe with exposed brick. The bed was more on the firm side, but that is my preference anyway! If you don't wanna go anywhere in the morning, they did have a complimentary breakfast, but again it is so perfectly located between tons of great restaurants. My only knock was that the customer service experience at the desk was a bit different between the night staff and the morning stuff. The young woman who is working overnight, seemed very preoccupied and slightly annoyed when I had some pretty basic questions. This was completely contrasted by the young woman who was working in the morning. I saw her going above and beyond whether it was making sure the trash left for breakfast was taken care of or checking us out. Having worked in hospitality, I understand that anybody can have a bad night, but overall our stay was great and we would definitely recommend this place for anyone coming in town from one of the major events or anyone just looking to have a fun staycation.

I was in town for a conference, and last year I booked a hotel two months before it and my hotel was about a mile away (oddly enough, a Hampton Inn co-located with a Homewood Suites), so this time I booked in January. Customer service here was superb, from start to finish. After checking in, I received a text asking how everything was going, and during my stay I was able to send follow-up texts if I had questions or needed anything. In addition, I was able to borrow/sign out an umbrella one day when it was raining - there's a $25 fee if you don't return it that day, but it's a very nice service they offer. I realized I forgot a shower cap one day, too, and the front desk was able to provide me with one. Pros: -Huge and unique rooms. The building is from the late 1800s and has been repurposed into this hotel. I think my room was bigger than my first apartment! -Nice sitting area with a couch even though I had a king studio suite. Huge kitchen with full-size fridge and freezer, plus flatware and even cooking utensils. -Large bathroom area, although no bathtub, just a shower. -Free breakfast daily, and they even had almond milk and oat milk for cereal - I have to drink non-dairy milk exclusively and hotels rarely have it available. -Free cookies at front desk -The staff was super friendly, when I returned every day from the conference I was welcomed back Cons: -Very few from me, but: no safe in the room -Towels are small but that's normal for most hotels nowadays -Wifi was a little wonky - on my computer and work iPhone it was fine, and also fast, but on my Android/personal phone, texts were delayed. I'm going to chalk this up to my phone being weird. Overall I LOVED my stay here and would 100% stay here again. If you're in town for a convention, it's only a two-block aka five-minute walk to the convention center, too, which was great.
