I had to move next door to the Hilton. Thank God for the girl at the front desk. She was extremely nice and helpful. After the faux pas, the darn manager didn't extend my check-out even for an hour. I'll never stay here again. Housekeeping staff and kitchen manager were very nice. I had beetles in my room climbing up the drapes everyday. I'd not recommend this place unless you're just staying one night.

The room I had was actually very nice and cozy though I noticed a few holes in the shower one of which could definitely fill up with water really quickly. The beds are really nice and cozy, great amenities with the room as well. Breakfast in the morning had a great selection of options. The lobby is very clean and well taken care of as well. Overall, I do recommend this place as a decent place to stay the night at though it is pretty pricey.

During our stay, we politely asked about the charges on our room, and the General Manager, Heidi Jacobson, responded with immediate hostility. Instead of addressing the question like any professional in hospitality should, she became aggressive, dismissive, and confrontational. To make matters worse, she then threatened to cancel our reservation if we continued to ask questions. This was shocking and completely out of line. We were calm and respectful, simply trying to understand our bill -- something any guest has a right to do. As a Black family, we left feeling that our race may have played a role in how we were treated. The interaction was not only uncomfortable, it felt intimidating and racially biased. That is absolutely unacceptable from anyone -- especially a Hilton-affiliated General Manager. No guest should ever be threatened or disrespected for asking basic questions, and certainly not made to feel unsafe or unwelcome because of who they are.

There were cozy robes that we all put on and then we gathered in the kitchen to enjoy snacks and wine we brought. The rooms and common spaces are beautiful, clean and very cozy. This b&b is also in the PERFECT location, as it's in walking distance of one of Indy's coolest streets, Mass Ave. There are a ton of restaurants, bars, local shops, a new food hall, coffee shops and more that you'll have direct access to without needing to drive. It's a safe area and there's even a wonderful restaurant across the street. The owner here is also amazing and so wonderful to work with. There's also street parking out front. I did four stars because I shared a room with someone else and ended up in a twin bed that was pretty hard. That could be easily fixed with a padded mattress topper to prevent from soreness the next day. Bonus: They also have cooking classes here that I've heard are wonderful!
