First time staying here, I needed a place to stay at since I was staying in the Indianapolis area for the night. Checking in was very easy, this hotel was very clean it had a nice spacious Lobby . I noticed that this place had a small pool and a small gym as well. The rooms here were pretty spacious which is great! I love the living room incorporated as well with the rest of the room. Average sized restroom with a nice sink in a little Nook. Breakfast wasn't too bad at all either. Overall, I thought it was an average hotel stay. read more

This review is being posted from my husband's account, but the experience occurred during a stay by his wife and her 87-year-old mother. I was traveling with an air cast and requested a room with a walk-in shower. I did not need a handicap-accessible room, yet we were assigned one with extremely low beds that made it difficult for both my elderly mother and me to get in and out safely. The body wash dispenser was empty from arrival, there was no iron in the room, housekeeping never removed the trash, and one evening we endured excessive noise from children running, stomping, and screaming in the room above us. After reporting these concerns, I received only a minimal credit and was promised a follow-up from management that never happened. The service issues were disappointing, but the lack of accountability afterward was even more concerning. Unfortunately, this stay fell well below the standards I expect from a Marriott property, and I would not stay at this location again. read more

Booked 2 mos in advance and prepaid for a king room. Arrived at check in time of 3:00 to be told no king rooms left. Given another room with no apology Or change in pricing. TV did not work. Not white-glove clean. Not overly worn. The location is easy to find. A little pricey, but I'm a skinflint. The coffee is pretty decent. Could be much worse. Feels manufacturered, little character. The property is a bit dated, but our stay was very comfortable and I would stay again if the price and location are right for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we were able to keep the room nice and cold for a good nights sleep. All the staff we interacted with were friendly, courteous and helpful. We were on the 4th floor and did not have any noise issues. We did not try the grab and go breakfast since we did not care for the options available. We had a terrible experience this weekend with first being given a room with a dirty or stained toilet. I asked them twice to bring a toilet brush and clean it and that was never done. Room is very large, bed is comfortable, pillows are down and synthetic. Standard toiletries did not include lotion, but did have makeup remover. Has a iPod Dock bedside, but could really use electric outlet instead. Have stayed before, first time bathroom was shower only, but this time tub/ shower combo. Enhanced internet service was good. Has microwave and mini fridge (no freezer). Quiet during week. Breakfast was powdered eggs, hard boiled, better. Standard fare rest . Free parking and walking distance to a few restaurants. Location of the hotel is close to food and shopping and in a safe area. The staff was friendly and the check-in and check-out was very easy. However, our room was not cleaned very good. My wife found dog food on the floor and a toy alligator behind the couch/bed. I understand we are still dealing with COVID-19, but there was no hot breakfast buffet. They had cereal, yogurt, and breakfast bars. They ran out of juice the 1 day we decided to eat breakfast at the hotel. I also had to get under the cabinet to get more plastic silverware packs. read more

My third and final day of 8 1/2 hours of driving, and this was the light at the end of the tunnel. And it was a nice light. The hotel is close to I-69, but not too close to where the interstate noise will bother you as you try to sleep. The hotel was very nice, very clean. The young lady who checked me in, could not have been any nicer. She welcomed me to the area and said I will like living here, and after one day here, I must say that I think I will. I went up to my room and it was very clean. The mattress was comfortable. I was able to get the temperature where I wanted it and the fan stayed on all night, like I like it. I slept very well. My only complaint was the TV wasn't the new Marriott standard which has the internet/interactive TV to watch Netflix or YouTube. But that was no big deal. I was traveling and needed a room to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children that wasn't going to break the bank, we scored a home run with the SpringHill Suites!! The staff were all very friendly, the double queen room was spacious and the fold out couch was exactly what we needed! I love that they had some paper plates and plastic cutlery in the room for us, it's the small things that really make the difference and you can tell the management here cares to make a good impression! I was also impressed with the free breakfast that they served. Again they went above and beyond serving decent quality food with the complimentary breakfast I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the Indianapolis area and I will look for other SpringHill Suites from now on during our travels. read more

So, first off I travel A LOT. My standards are quite high. Not pretentious but I expect friendly and efficient service, clean rooms and a decent breakfast. This SpringHill suites exceeded this in every way. Upon check in we were greeted by a lovely young woman who was beyond friendly. We asked to change our room from a king to two queens and it was done without question and even though she needed assistance we never felt like it was an issue. The room was immaculately clean, updated furnishings and comfortable. The beds were firm yet still comfy. The bathroom area was stocked with Paul Mitchel shower products and clean as well. The towels were a nice size and quite fluffy for a hotel. The kitchenette was well stocked, clean and the refrigerators freezer area was able to freeze solid my ice packs for our cooler. Breakfast was included and had many freshly made options. Bagels, fresh croissant, sweet bread and regular bread. Several yogurt and milk options, multiple cereals, hot and ready oatmeal that was not instant with toppings such as craisons. Walnuts, almonds, raisins, brown sugar, and others. Scrambled eggs that were fresh, hot and abundant with toppings of fresh spinach, cheese and salsa. Vegan and turkey sausage. Fresh cut fruit and apples and bananas. The coffee options were decaf, dark and medium roast with whole milk, skim, cream and soy milk available. Teas, hot chocolate and flavored creamers too. Not to mention juice. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and engage us at each passing. The breakfast attendant was happy and seemed to enjoy her position. The area was spotless and stocked well. I would hire any one of the people I met there for my own staff. I hope they are well compensated because someone might just come along snatch them away for their business! On Dec 22, 2018 my family stayed at Springhill Suites,9698 Hague Rd Fishers In 46256. We found bed bugs in the room and left the premises. Upon leaving we actually took a bug down to the front desk where a William took the bug which was in a glass. We left that evening ruining my sons birthday. We had 2 rooms. Once we called to speak to the Manager Zuri she told me that they had bed bugs in the hotel but they were not found in our room. She refused to refund me saying they did not have the money Priceline did. I have contacted Priceline 3 times now from December to now and each time am told the hotel has to refund them and the manager will not get back with them. Zuri admitted the hotel has bed bugs and yet refuses to refund my money. We frequently stay at hotels for sports and family travel and this is the first time we have had this issue with a Springhill Suites or any hotel for that matter. I am highly disappointed especially since they know their hotel has bugs and we brought them a bug from the room. What more do we have to do to prove there was an issue and we are disappointed with the service and deserve a refund? Now Priceline tells me the manager Ryan is contacting their bug people. read more

*I called the hotel and looked on their website for a pool, hot tub, and breakfast... they had all three. (so they said)* Our stay was not what we expected. Instead of being greeted when we walked in we were given a dirty look. When the lady checked us into our room she warned us "Just Letting you kids know if we get any noise complaints I'm kicking you out." REALLY?! Why would she assume that we're going to be disruptive to others, that wasn't right. The front desk lady told us the hot tub and pool closes at 11pm. We took a look at the pool later on that night. It was closed and there was no hot tub... to the looks of it there used to be one but any longer. The pool was closed for our entire stay. In addition, the "breakfast" the website said they had was a few muffins, or a choice of cereal... Very disappointed with our stay because we really didn't get anything we paid for! I usually never complain about anything but this experience blew my mind, if I had the money I would have stayed at another hotel. read more

Bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were pleasant. There was a burst pipe (not unexpected with the large number of students), but it only took out the breakfast service area. The interior design is updated but you can tell the building is a bit old. Room was clean and the front desk was great. However, the mattress was old and saggy and the pillows smell dusty and need to be either cleaned or replaced. I could hear every footstep in the room above me which would have been fine under normal circumstances but there was a child running back and forth all morning. The room doors automatically slam shut instead of closing softly and the people across the hall were in and out literally every five minutes their entire stay and children running back and forth down the hall. It was incredibly loud and shook my unit. The doors are very thin and you can hear normal volume conversations occurring in the hall from your room clear as day. If you won't be in your room much then it shouldn't bother you, and maybe I just lost the room lottery. But if you want to relax then I'd probably stay away from this place. read more

I brought my family here for an evening and have never felt more shame about the hotel I picked. The entire stay was a complete disaster. Where do I even begin? - I called ahead and asked if the pool was open, as this was a big reason I picked the hotel. I was told it was open and fully functional. Just hours after I arrived, it was closed without warning. The woman behind the desk said "I think it needs to be shocked, and I have no idea when it will re-open." - When I asked for a late checkout, which is automatically provided with my Marriott status, I was told no. At no point was my status even acknowledged. - The hotel did not have shampoo. At all. I was told it was on back-order (?!). The idea that a hotel doesn't provide even the most basic amenities seems crazy to me. - Room keys randomly stopped working at one point, and myself and three other guests on my floor had to go downstairs and get them reset. - The hotel was extremely noisy throughout the entire stay. I could hear people talking (at a normal volume) in the room next to me. - At no point during the entire trip did the staff apologize for any of these inconveniences. - The place is a dump. I stay in Marriots ~50 nights per year, and this was the worst stay I've had for as long as I can remember. RUN from this place. read more

The Beds are extremely comfortable at this property and the staff is very friendly and quite apologetic....about everything. Unfortunately, we were informed at check in (5pm) that our room was not ready....we were told that the guests in the room from the night before had not checked out, but later told that the manager gave our room to someone else. We finally got in our room to find the temperature set at 88 degrees and the carpet soaking wet--appearing to have been just cleaned. The room took hours to get below 80 degrees and the carpet didn't dry by the time we checked out the next morning. I would suggest requesting a corner room on the top floor, as the hotel was filled with young adolescents that ran through the halls all night long and had quite the loud party in the room above us. I was sad to see no coffee on the breakfast bar, however, the staff was quick to bring it out once I mentioned it. However, the coffee cup lids did not fit their cups....so a cup of coffee with a lid was out of the question. Again, the staff apologized non-stop, however, I would have much preferred a room that we could have checked in at the published check in time and one that was cool and quiet enough to sleep in. read more

This hotel was great! We came in with the family for Memorial Day weekend, and still had a good rate. Staff was very friendly, and the whole place was very clean. It was quiet all night and the beds were super comfy. Breakfast was free and really good. The indoor pool was clean and nice, including the hot tub. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Indy, but that's not bad. We had a great experience! read more

I've stayed here 5 times recently for work. The first 3 were fine. This last stay in late August 2017 was terrible. Stains all over the carpet and sofa, bed was creepy & saggy, floor had dried urine stays all over the tile, shower had pink on the tub floor, shower is locked in the on position, sink/office desk, tables were unclean. Basically, no surface was wiped down. After taking a shower I used the towel to dry off only to get a long woman's hair caught in my beard. Gross. The last stay in late July 2017 was pretty bad. I had a room with 2 queen beds. I always check the sheets in hotels to see if they're up to par. After checking the first bed upon arrival, everything looked fine so I went to dinner. I returned from dinner and saw a dried, white stain on the wooden headboard. If that is what I think it is, that's disgusting. So I checked the second bed sheets. Red stains all over them. Not sure what it was, don't want to know. So I have a potential c*shot on one bed's headboard and either food, makeup, or blood on the other bed's sheets. Terrible. The bathroom floor was not clean. Dried marks on the floor in front of the toilet. Looks like they broomed it but not washed it. Potential urine stains there. Also had long, female hair on it (I'm not a female and none were with me). The inner shower curtain was significantly pink on the bottom (and not just the fringe on the bottom). It also touches the toilet due to the smallness of the bathroom. Shower itself had short hairs in the soap dishes. Cool. Hand towel by the sink had a stain on it. Unacceptable. Bed was worn. Had a noticeable sag in the middle and it was very creaky. How old is this bed? So not only is this the sex room but it's the rough sex room that created a valley in the bed. By the man stain on the headboard one can only guess. The wall behind the alarm clock had a white mark on it. Again, after seeing what was on the headboard my mind goes straight to the sweaty sex that probably happened where I was trying to sleep! Work on the cleanliness of your rooms. Last time I checked, this wasn't a budget motel...although I've seen nicer budget rooms than this one! read more

Unfortunately management will not support what customer service representatives explain as policy. We were charged a one night fee despite being assured that we would not incur a charge if we had to cancel our travel due to inclement weather fewer than 48 hours in advance. We called to cancel 48 hours ahead of time and were told to wait another day. When we cancelled a day ahead due to weather, we were still charged. We will not stay at another Marriott. Repeated conversations with Marriott and supporting documentation didn't help in convincing them to uphold what was stated to us. read more

Our recent stay at the hotel was highlighted by the property manager Mr Ramsey. It was incredibly professional and intelligent as were faced with fire alarm in the middle of the night. Although very scary on the face of it, Mr. Ramsey was very supportive and helpful as each hotel occupant was assured of their safety. It is a very clean property with great amenities. read more

I stayed at Springhill Suites while visiting some family over Easter weekend. The hotel has been remodeled since any of the other reviews were posted, and it looks really nice. The staff were incredibly attentive and courteous. The continental breakfast was exactly what you'd expect; Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. read more

This is probably the best bang for buck I've ever gotten for a hotel. Mind you I normally stay here on a corporate rate but it is still a really good deal otherwise. The hotel is still very new feeling. The bed are really comfortable, the regular Marriott hotel bed is only slightly better. The bathroom only has a shower so you don't have that awkward hotel tub that you'll never use. The rooms have a HDTV in them but they aren't connected to an HD source so there's some room to improve. The free breakfast is simple but filling (oatmeal and OJ for me). Free Internet ,a nice break from the upper tier hotels. Good room setup for working folks a pseudo two room setup. Free cookies usually after work and chupa chups. I really enjoy staying here, love the staff. read more

I'm very sorry to have to write this review and I hope that others will take a closer look at where they choose to stay, if poor service matters to them. I booked two rooms, one for me and the other for my brother and sister in law (who is handicapped) nearly 8weeks prior to our visit for a family event. Another room was booked by my brother, we all traveled from other states with the longest traveling from Southern California. The room reserved for my brother and his wife was to be handicapped accessible with a walk-in shower because of her challenges. They arrived early to check in about noon but were told by the desk clerk that the room was not ready and they should come back after 3pm, so they went shopping until the correct time. I arrived at 330pm and my brother and his wife came back as well. Upon returning they were told that NOW they had no handicapped room available but the one they were referring to earlier was already reserved! I said of course it is for them!!! The manager (young man) left out of the side door, cowardly trying not to face anyone! The assistant manager finally came up with a solution, and that was that they call another Hotel to accommodate my handicapped relative. We booked THREE ROOMS HERE FOR A FAMILY EVENT!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! TOTAL DISCRIMINATION AGAINST THE HANDICAPPED, IT SEEMED!! If only it hadn't been said that the room with the walk in shower was reserved for another reservation that had not arrived yet, WE WERE STANDING IN THE LOBBY!! If anyone associated with this hotel were to say otherwise it would be incorrect. The asst. mgr arranged to move my brother and sis-inlaw to another Hotel, THE HILTON GARDEN INN, just across the freeway, which was absolutely wonderful. The Former hotel picked up the cost for the room for the weekend, which really showed they were wrong and assumed we would just go away, I say at Marriotts because of being a member of the Marriott Rewards program. The rest of our group moved to the Hilton as well, they were able to accommodate all of us. if you are thinking of this Hotel please reconsider, it may not go well. read more

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I stayed here in 2012 and was just as pleased then as I am now. The staff is AMAZING, friendly and welcoming. The front desk girls, Courtney, Kelly and the other gal (cute African American gal) sorry I didn't get your name, but you all were helpful. I love the breakfast each morning and the man that is always there serving is so friendly and kind. He was there in 2012 as well. The atmosphere is very nice. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, but I didn't use, but glad they had one available and the workout room and area with the computer so we could print out our confirmation for our flights. I highly recommend this place if you need a place in the out skirts of Indianapolis. The cleaning crew was good and refreshed our room if we needed it. Glad they had a fridge and sink and microwave. The bed was comfy and the pillows were amazing. A very clean hotel all the way around. I like the free glass of wine in the evening in the commons area. Rooms were clean and cool as it was hot on the first day here. (July 1-5). The weather did change and got cool we had to go buy jackets as it was 54 degrees one morning! A very good trip.
