I stayed here a couple nights because they offered special rates for a local event and they have remarkable reviews. The staff treats you like family. They are pleasant, attentive and efficient. Check in was quick and easy. Pricing is considerably less than other nearby hotels. The rooms are a little dated, but they are clean. There is a microwave and large fridge in the room. The TV was easy to use and the channel selection is good. The bathroom was clean. No pets are allowed. Air conditioning worked fine. I had a minor issue with the fridge making noise, but I didn't complain about it. They probably would have changed it out. The breakfast is decent. The scrambled eggs tasted fresh. My husband liked the sausage. The fresh biscuits were goods. There were bagels and breads that I did not try. Coffee is available all day and in the evenings, fresh popcorn is available. The parking lot is easy to get in and out. There are several nearby good restaurants that are not chains. I'd stay again and recommend. read more

I'm not sure how this place got 4-1/2 stars. Overall feeling was sketchy. I don't normally give it a thought, but I checked for bedbugs as soon as I got to my room, but gladly found none... the mattress was in a bag. Room was very damp and uncomfortable, and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke, especially when I woke up this morning. Pillows were good. Cleanliness was OK, but there were some stray hairs on the bathroom floor. I woke up before 5 AM, and even though I needed more sleep, I decided to get up and leave because it was so damp and uncomfortable in the room. Coffee was undrinkable. Very weak. The person who brewed it probably never drank a cup in their life. I will NOT stay here again. read more

I have stayed at a lot of motels and this might be the nicest yet. Stay comparable to a hotel. Everything super clean and looks brand new. Even has a hot tub and pool. A little more expensive than some other motels, but it is definitely worth it. Most people would rather pay an extra 20 dollars to get a fantastic motel room vs a run down one. Staff friendly. Having stayed at this hotel many times, I can definitely attest that this hotel has gone downhill dramatically. Usually we enjoy the decent price, pool, and breakfast, however, this stay was not even close to the same caliber. We also noticed there were several clientele staying there that made us feel uncomfortable, specifically our physical safety. The worst part was the cockroach that we found crawling on the room's vanity countertop around 10pm. It so disgusted us that after trapping it, we could not even bring ourselves to eat breakfast at the hotel. We opted to eat elsewhere and check out as soon as possible. We will definitely not be staying at this hotel again, no matter the cost savings. read more

Starters ,the location here at Super 8 in Greenfield,IN is amazing my personal opinion is the host at night ,because my self and another driver travel thru this location every week on Tuesday and it's always a pleaser to come in and deal with Delissa the clerk or host ,it's never a dull moment she's always friendly, funny ,humorous and after driver all day in a semi is all ways a pleasure to hear and see people at a business specially at a hotel and feel welcome all the time ,and yes I have no issues to tell others to come and stay here ,also the truck parking is also pleasant because it's plenty space well lit up ,the breakfast is always hot and very tasty and the you young lady has it stocked with warm fresh foods ,gravy ,coffee ,juices as well ,just like Delissa always has fresh popcorn hot and ready for visitors to get as well when they come in and get rooms ,also every room i ever got here has always been clean service night and day has always been great ,so yes i do enjoy staying here and will continue as well long as im able too ,so please keep doing what ever yall do here and thank you all that work at this location, from the host to house keeping great job . read more

my wife and I reserved a room for November 22 through the 24th Saturday morning. I left early for work. My wife stayed back. We paid for a room with two adult adults. My wife went down to breakfast and ate. I called her on the phone to see how she was doing because she pregnant. I if she wouldn't mind putting me some breakfast for when I returned at noon because I knew that the food would be gone by the breakfast area would be closed after she finished eating her breakfast. She came back to the room and put her stuff away and went and got me a plate of Food. She returned to get herself some and a lady by the name of her a staff member at the super eight here in Greenfield Indiana. She approached my wife and ask her in front of a full full of people and ask her how many times she had planned on returning my wife was so embarrassed that she came back to the room and cried called me very upset so I called the hotel to see upon calling the Julie lady answers the phone and I explained to her who I was and that I was concerned about what Julie lady was very rude offered no apology so I sent an email to up. I got a response from the general manager by the name of Kelly. She informed me that it was practice was to confront people if they seen them doing something they thought was out of line for no postings or literature that states how many times or how much food one can take or not take from the dining area in her email. She explained that it was normal for them to do so she offered no apology whatsoever . to injury she that we check out a day early to avoid confrontation like we had done something wrong again offering no apology whatsoever I will never ever consider going back to this location to be rudely disrespected, and to confront my wife in front of a of people when she's pregnant, it's totally not professional whatsoever . read more

I'm a Wyndham member and this is the best Super 8 I've stayed in. We usually stay in Baymont Inns and this one easily matches them. Full breakfast (posted as 6 am but it was out there by 5:30). Good size pool, good choices on TV. You are in fast food row withe Walmart and other big box stores within walking distance if you don't mind crossing a very busy road. I 70 is about 1/2 mile away at most. Give them a shot. read more

We have stayed often with no problems. However, this visit we were met with musty rooms that were pretty gag worthy. Our clothes stink and we now have sore throats from the musty odor. They are non smoking rooms which we prefer but people smoking at the entrance make for a stinky departure. We had several rooms for our group and they all were musty. We did not enjoy the fact that our clothes smelled for our event. We will be staying elsewhere from this point on. Plus side: great rates, clean beds and shower is ok, breakfast is good and service is nice. read more

On my return trip from Missouri heading to Philadelphia I had car trouble in Greenfield, IN and had to stay overnight. I looked online and found this Super 8 with a vacancy and booked. Front desk lady named Susie was pleasant and very professional. Got me into my room quickly! Susie is popular too because everyone who walked by went out of their way to greet Susie by name. The room was clean and met my needs for the night. They even had a little refrigerator in the room which you don't see to often. TV was small but hey I'm not complaining. They had a very decent continental breakfast that included a waffle station and hot biscuits and gravy. Haven't had that in years and it was pretty good! Overall a pleasant night stay for a good price! read more

Only giving this place 1star bc I had to. I stayed here a couple weeks back and it was hands down the worst place I had ever been in. The grounds alone were horribly bad w/trash everywhere, the room was... no words can give it justice except maybe pictures will show it. No smoke alarm, no door knobs bathroom door, no door peep hole as someone took it out so they filled it in w/crap, phone didn't have numbers on it, microwave use burnt out as if someone cooked metal in it, shower curtain was so nasty,old and dirty it should have been thrown away a long time ago. Easy online booking. Chose units location due to the good reviews. Yelp didn't fail as this location has easy access on/off I-70 in a very nice area. Although didn't use any, plenty of shopping dining options are close by. Check in was a breeze, plenty of parking, and room was clean. Bed was comfy, and your standard hotel breakfast fare was what is expected: okay. Will not hesitate to stay again next time I'm in the area. read more

My friends and I stayed here last week and it was amazing. By far the best hotel we stayed at on our cross country road trip (and we stayed in a Hilton). The staff were the kindest people ever, they all seemed to actually care about everyone. Their included breakfast was amazing, the best hotel continental breakfast I've had. The sheets and room were very clean and the bathroom was tidy. They had you write down your cars so they could monitor the parking lot, which was nicely lit. It felt very safe. And all for a decent price. While the amenities were great, the staff was what made the stay so nice. Their pleasant smiles made you feel at home. And they offered free popcorn! For a Super 8 and similar hotels, this one is very good. It's now no smoking which is so great. My family all meets here twice a year and they love it and won't try any place else! There have been great improvements over the years- nicer carpeting and bedding and a hot breakfast buffet with a good selection (though I wish it ran a little later on Sundays). We appreciate the free popcorn at night. There is a nice sitting area in the lobby. We don't swim but they have an indoor pool. The air conditioning is better than in most hotels- the fan seems to run consistently so you don't have it waking you up every few minutes as it goes off and on throughout the night- my pet peeve at other hotels- and you can choose your own temperature. My mom likes that the people working recognize her each time she calls- nice service. Overall, a great choice in Greenfield. read more

A very nice stay for such a low price. One of the best budget stays I've had. For a Super 8, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. The rooms are in great shape and all of the appliances and TV were fairly new. The bed was super comfortable too. One of the key things I look for are hot water and water pressure and these were plentiful here. To top it off, the wifi was speedy and the staff was extremely friendly. Other amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub and complementary popcorn. I wasn't able to try these though, as I was just there to crash and get back on the road in the morning. For a $59 stay, I couldn't complain at all. The continental breakfast was just okay, but if you like biscuits and gravy you'll be happy. read more

Pretty views from the room windows, nice landscaping. I have never seen a Super 8 bricked. The indoor hot tub was nice but you need to ditch that one rule Do Not Use Alone. Some widows have to be alone. The fact that you don't offer smoking rooms is a downside too. I would have given you a 5 if it hadn't been for those two things mentioned. I like the way all the Super 8s are putting local attractions as beautiful headboards to all the beds. Next time visiting I will stay somewhere that allows smoking though. You are the nicest Super 8 I have at which I have ever stayed decorations, landscaping, picnic tables etc... Hate I didn't get to get a waffle but I forgot my homemade fig preserves and that just took all the joy out of it. read more

Very clean room and Susie at the front desk was so nice! Beds were a little hard and I would suggest the nice down comforters that other motels are starting to use but otherwise it was a nice stay. We did use the pool or hottub because the pool was to cool for our comfort level and the room had a smell of chemicals and body odor but you find that with most indoor pools. The popcorn is a nice touch and it was good. read more

We have stayed here every time we go back and forth to our families homes in MO twice a year. We have always found them to be friendly and clean. I was disappointed when I found they would not rent us a room with because have pet, the same we had when we stayed there on the way up three weeks ago. It was not a reflection of our pet, just that it was a race weekend and that they were GOING to sell out. When I asked why the change in procedures I was told that that it was out of concern for their guest that have allergies.... We have stayed there approx 10 times, including 3weeks ago. I guess they are not THAT concerned about their guests if they an empty room they can rent?? Again we always appreciated staying and I am more than disappointed that we will not be able to stay there anymore because it is difficult finding such nice places that allow pets. read more

Friendly staff and a nice clean facility. My room was clean but the scent of smoke still lingered. They were booked for the Run for Your Life zombie run so swapping to another room was not possible. Overall a positive experience but I think the conversion to non-smoking may take some time before the rooms no longer carry that tainted smell. read more

Reserved two rooms for six people-- one had two queen beds and two sofas, which allowed the kids to each have their own sleeping zone. The other had two queen beds. There was an odd odor some other reviewers have mentioned, but the place was very clean and comfortable. Had looked up some other hotels on our way out and several guests had mentioned bed bugs. This place is insect free. Beds were comfortable enough. Water pressure in the shower was great, though I'm sure that varies with the room. Wi-Fi signal was strong. Great deal as the two rooms with a total of four queen beds and two sofas ran us less than one room w/ two queens would have been at the Hampton. read more
