The staff is friendly and helpful, and that matters. The hotel is in a good location to get around Longmont, including a Starbucks, Wendy's and Sprouts in the parking lot. A bunch of little things that add up are probably why we'll look to stay elsewhere in the future. Almost every review from even a year back complains about the Jacuzzi not working. It was down our first night, along with the pool, and was not available until 6 PM our 2nd night. Both were FREEZING. No heat to the heated pool, no heat and barely any jet power in the hot tub. Very disappointing. This was AFTER maintenance. The breakfast buffet does not get filled nearly enough during its opening hours and the coffee pot was constantly empty. We were there at 7:30 on the weekend when the breakfast opened at 7, and there was 1 bagel remaining, no plates, coffee pot was empty, a few muffins were available but gone in the next 5 minutes. Some things were never replenished the whole 45 minutes we were there. The 3 hot dishes were refilled, but none of the bread items. You snooze you lose, literally. If they're understaffed, I'm sorry for the one woman we saw doing her best, but it was frustrating to see that within the first 30 minutes a lot of people were going to have to settle for what was left. It was this way our first and second mornings. We had four guests and were given 3 bath towels, two wash cloths, and 2 hand towels. The conditioner pump bottle in the shower was empty. They sell laundry soap in the lobby but unless you're on the second floor you wouldn't know there's a laundry room. No signs in the lobby. No chair to sit in while the washer/dryer is operating. The clock's battery was dead in the laundry room. Just a bunch of things that individually aren't huge, but what else gets ignored or overlooked? It makes me wonder. It was "fine" overall but I will try a different place in the future to compare. If there was a 3.5 rating I would have chosen that, not a 4. read more

In a neighborhood with plenty of unremarkable restaurants. Friendly and helpful desk receptionist. Room is ok. The shower matt was missing. No bottled water or safe. Breakfast was hardly edible. The clientele did not seem to be corporate guests. To be fair, this hotel is not different than other hotels I stayed in Longmont. read more

Everything was going OK until our door sensor for our access card wasn't working. On Saturday July 19 we were coming home very late from a Baby Shower/Family Party about 90 minutes away and the sensor wasn't working. We were carrying two sleeping kids (6 and 4). We went downstairs, the manager was helpful in getting us additional key cards, in which they didn't work again. Going down another time, we got another batch which did work finally. The manager also told me they were going to put a work order for fixing the room door sensor. In the morning, we were awakened by a phone call saying that the technician needed to come fix the sensor. We said OK thinking the person could just do it from outside the door. However, about 30 minutes later, the technician said he needed to come inside the room to fix the problem, which was an issue for us because my wife was naked coming from the shower (and now couldn't come out to change), and both of my children were still sleeping. The technician was understanding, but he was also upset that the front desk management had not warned us earlier that he was coming. I don't think it's right to jump into someone room like this, yet alone this early in the morning. This is why I'm leaving this review here. read more

Average stay. The breakfast was terrible, scrambled eggs, sausage and bagels/muffins only and everything went super quickly. On the weekend they had waffles but they had so much sugar on them they were not edible. Our room was a double queen room on the 4th floor which was fairly large. It had a small mini fridge too. Elevators were pretty quick. The housekeeping was every other day; not an issue except when they did come to clean our room, they barely did anything. They only made the bed and changed our towels. They didn't vacuum, clean the shower or change the linens on the bed. Overall, pretty average stay! read more

First of all the rooms are old. Not updated at all to current status. Our air conditioner is completely falling apart and NASTY! Ceilings and rims are filthy! Would not recommend coming here. Staff is VERY rude and unhelpful when on the phone. In person they couldn't honestly care less about their jobs and customer service. read more

Check in took a long time. Almost $200 a night in no bar, no restaurant, only clean every other day. The AC set at 63 and we were sweating in Colorado. The breakfast was 1 at best and closed early. Stayed 6 nights and never got clean sheets even though I stripped the bed they just put them back on. Everyday I had to ask and go get extra towels... Three times I was stopped by staff and said I needed to check in prior to going further. Yes the same person. Half the time there was no one at the front desk. A bottle of water was $4 and a soda $6. WORST money I ever spent. Not sure I will ever stay at a Marriott property again. Other hotels are in walking distance, cheaper, nicer and have a bar. We were having a very nice stay with nice suite room- until we went to the pool. It was very dirty, hair everywhere with floating goo and smelly trash can. It was very disappointing for our kids. Since when did it become acceptable for a full service hotel to not provide daily housekeeping??? Not only did we find trash on one of the shelves in our room, and a used coffee cartridge in the coffee maker, following our first night, we learned after coming back to our room that afternoon that the hotel does not provide daily housekeeping. Front desk staff said that housekeeping comes every other day. Had to request more toilet paper, tissues, and towels. When returning to the room the following afternoon, we saw that the bed was made, trash emptied, and towels replaced. However, nothing was cleaned. the mirror and especially the toilet were untouched. I again inquired with the front desk staff and they said that for our 3-night stay, we are only offered a "refresh" after two days and the full cleaning will occur after we checkout. On top of that, we were told by one set of employees that foam pillows would be provided as the basic pillows lack any kind of structure. Returning to the room, no foam pillows and front desk staff said they don't even have those. The breakfast offering is pretty weak as continental breakfast options go. Also, when we arrived at almost midnight the first night, we had to wait fifteen minutes for anyone to show up at the front desk. When they did, they struggled to find our reservation because it was somehow recorded under the name of the 2nd person staying in the room and not the person who made the reservation. The closet space is the smallest amount of space I've ever seen in a hotel, and there is hardly any drawer space. I would say that you get what you pay for, but in this case, when paying more than $500 for a 3-night stay, we most definitely did NOT get what we paid for. This hotel is an embarrassment to Marriott and will have us going back to Hilton on future stays. read more

The staff was very friendly and got us checked in super fast! The beds are comfortable and they have a free breakfast buffet in the morning. I really do not know how you can squeeze a king bed into a normal room and call it a suite because it made any but sweet. That was really not a great thing to discover after booking several weeks in advanced. The Desk Clerk greeted with a Look that said hello what hell are you here for. His manners did not improve. Then at 2 am in the morning when we needed to report that a shower chair brought to Our room failed and caused me to fall causing myself injury to my leg knee and back muscles barely missed having a injury as well', the desk clerk failed to give their name and after hearing about what had in room 320 that wonderful Valentines morning could only respond with what kind of Chair and and ah ah ah and hung up after calling the front desk back immediately the continued to ring for several minutes no responded by then checking out this Safety failure issue in the room really this is world class service not Epic Fail' read more

This hotel is brand new, and nicer than expected! Keith at the front desk is absolutely amazing and was incredibly friendly while maintaining a stellar level of professionalism. The continental breakfast had a nice mix of hot and cold choices. The bathroom was large with a great shower! The only flaw was the air conditioning unit in the room was rather loud and hard to ignore, especially while trying to sleep. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Longmont! read more

This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. As usual, the staff especially Logan continue to deliver and exceed on every level.

The best thing about this hotel is that it is new so most of the items you are using haven't been run down yet. The iron still had the twist tie around the cord. Besides that I felt a lot to be desired here especially for business. There is no microwave in the double queen rooms. This was not stated on the Marriott website where it lists amenities and microwave is listed as one of them. This was really inconvenient for someone on business that doesn't want to eat out every night. Also, the workdesk in my room was horribly placed and was hard to use. It was directly under the TV which almost made it impossible to work on the computer and look at a show at the same time. The desk that comes with the desk was also not an office chair. It was a lounge chair that had no wheels and was much lower than desk height. Again, not really comfortable to do work on which I had to do for a lot of my stay. If you're just coming here for a couple days of recreation and don't need a desk or microwave you would be fine as the rooms were clean and nice but I am disappointed as a frequent Marriott member and will never stay at this property again because of the items mentioned above. read more
