The parking situation was a bit interesting (multiple lots, some labeled "board members") and surprisingly no attendees to show the way. The Fairgrounds itself included multiple buildings as well as a wide open feel for vendors and attendees. Each building I entered contained an easily findable set of restrooms which I thought was stellar! The Fairgrounds were neat and clean despite all the traffic and food sales which made me very happy. Neutral: didn't go in the pool but walked by and saw the two water slides, they looked fun. Breakfast had a few options, not the best/most options I have encountered but also not the least/worst, pretty standard continental breakfast. At first, the staff hesitated to allow my kids to try the advanced ninja obstacles (because it was our first time there), but communicated that clearly and considerately, while eventually giving them a chance to "prove themselves" under proper supervision. I appreciated their genuine concern for my kids' safety, while still being willing to cater to their desire to challenge themselves. The garden is open to the public. I love to sit outside on one of the stone benches and listen to the fountain. It's a great place to sit and write a letter, or just' be'. The garden is lovely: statuary with clematis or ivy climbing up it dots the lawn; large trees provide shade, and there are flowering plants everywhere. My relative was married here; my mom used to bring her grandkids here for a photo shoot! The one drawback- it's at a busy intersection, so you do have to be ok with that.
