The hotel is in a good location, our room was clean, and there's free breakfast. However, the room isn't functional. They only have king with sleeper sofa options, which just doesn't work with four people. Plus, the sofa bed is tiny and they only give you one pillow. If I book a room for four people then provide space to sleep for four people! They need to change the sofa to a queen bed and get rid of the weird wooden console in the middle of the room imo. It's a very weird design. We'll pick a hotel that works better next time. *update to add our AC didn't work so it was pretty uncomfortable by morning. Also, they added random charges after checking out. Definitely recommend staying somewhere else unless you just need to be in this area. read more

Clean, calm and collected for the most part. Our puppy is sensitive to noise and they put us in a quiet part of the hotel. Check-in process was great and other than our first night of our staycation from loud neighbors it was actually good. Breakfast could have staple items but they mix it up each day. First day was biscuits and gravy. second day was something that I forgot and third day was waffles, sausage two ways and these weird scrambled egg shapes. Not bad but brought me back to middle school cafeteria food. Our room itself was quiet and bedding was awesome. The TV on the swivel was a nice touch depending if we were on the couch or in bed. Bathrooms definitely need some attention. I could tell in certain spots that mold was becoming a permanent resident but not intrusive and nutty like a friend overstaying their welcome. Overall, probably one of the best hotel experiences we had and would recommend it again. Definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel and pricing was fair. Puppies stay for $75. They're part of the family after all. Give it a shot and if you run into some bumps the front desk will address it. read more

I want to give 5 stars to the people who run the show here because I've been pleasantly surprised by the service, quality of breakfast, and cleanliness of the room and common areas! I came by to stay for a drone expo in Denver and I wanted to explore the area. Hyatt Boulder is a nice and modern hotel just 20 mins from Boulder. It's also an hour away from Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park - which have some wonderful activities like hiking and sight seeing! I even saw Elk. The people here are nice and the breakfast is pretty wonderful, which was my favorite part of all. Most days you get a wonderful setup of yogurt or oatmeal with tons of toppings, egg, potatoes, and sausage. There's cereal, milk, coffee and tea also. Andrea does a great job getting everyone fed. The room and common areas are clean and smell great! This has easily been the nicest Hyatt stay I've had in my few years of travels. Mora was wonderful at accommodating me on a late exit. Keep it up guys! I'll be back. read more

I found this hotel to be a great place to stay! My mom visited me from the east coast, and wanted something close by and inexpensive for the week. She found this hotel for a great deal for five days. It's very clean inside and spacious. They have a pretty large outdoor pool and fitness room, and plenty of other amenities. Love the bar attached to the lobby, it's nice and open. The room was large and well stocked, with a dining room and mini kitchen. It was great to do some cooking and have fun together. Our room was spotless and smelled so fresh and clean. The housekeeping crew were so professional and helpful. Our kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. We had everything we needed. I would love if they would offer room service from the bar menu but that doesn't take away from how wonderful this hotel is. I absolutely recommend staying here. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Its convenient location made exploring the area a breeze. We felt safe, the facility was clean, and we didn't have any disturbances (noise and whatnot). We originally booked a studio suite, but when we took our dogs out moments after dropping our bags inside, we noticed a massive flow of ants right outside our window. Not wanting to wake up covered in little crawlers, we informed the front desk about the concern and asked to change rooms. Unfortunately, they didn't have any more studios available, but a 1-bedroom suite across the hall was up for grabs and it didn't have any ants outside its window. Although it cost a bit more, we moved into that suite and the rest of our stay was great. I'm actually really glad we got the bedroom because having the door was handy for those times when I needed to take a work meeting from the hotel room. Having the kitchenette and full fridge was perfect. We loved how spacious the bathroom was and the comfort of the bed. A few things we didn't like was that the AC didn't do a great job keeping the room cool at night and the sofa was uncomfortable because the seat cushions would slide everywhere. Breakfast was also a bit meh. If you're vegan, good luck. You'll be stuck to fruit cups and steel cut oats with miscellaneous toppings. On the plus side, breakfast spots and Starbucks aren't too far away. read more

It's been a long time since I've had such great service from a hotel staff. The rate is decent, beds are comfy and there was a surprising amount of useful kitchen accessories. The room is admittedly a little tired and could use a new coat of paint, but staff bent over backwards to accommodate any and all requests. Also, it was nice to see a hotel say pet-friendly and actually mean it by allowing cats as well as dogs. Breakfast was adequate, could've used more variety. read more

Our first hotel in Colorado trip. We chose this hotel as it was only 20 mins away from Pearl St Mall. Check in process was smooth, the lady was friendly. Complimentary parking & WiFi for in house guest. The room is spacious but have an apartment feel. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, dish washer, silverware, pots & pans etc. I found couple scratches here and there in the room, the blind in living room is broken so we were sleeping with a feeling that someone from the other building could see us. Continental breakfast in the morning was not good, not have a good selection. read more

I would give no stars! Unfortunately app will only allow me to make a review if I give a star. After a 17 hour drive , I was tired and needed a shower and sleep. Checked in and went to the room.... A rude awakening! As soon as you walked into the room it smelled musty. As I was inspecting the room this is what I found..( see pics) Manager stated he would have it cleaned if I wanted to stay. Of course I said no. Manager stated he would cancel my reservation and give me points. I had to rush to find another place to stay. The ALOFT is where I ended up at in Broomfield. Great suites. Loved the location - close to Boulder and Denver, multiple food joints and businesses. The breakfast was a little bit less than what you'd see at a standard Hyatt. Still a custom omelette bar, fresh fruits, potatoes and toasts made a great start to the day. Checkin and checkout was quick and hassle free. There plenty parking in front of the hotel. The stay here was okay. It wasn't terrible but wasn't the greatest. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you may need to cook. We ended up not using it and got the hotel breakfast which was okay as well. Breakfast was only from 7-9. Check in was easy upon arrival. I had asked for the highest floor and did not receive it. You could hear the people above us stomping all over the place and they would let their cabinets slam which would then result in hearing the glasses shake. So you can definitely hear others around you who think they're the only ones in the hotel. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it. There's a window above where the desk is in the room that was awful. It doesn't have black out curtains like the big window so the light shined through right as it got sunny. I like to sleep with the room pitch dark so this was frustrating as I wasn't able to sleep in. The shower head was awful even though there were multiple settings. I don't think I'd stay at this brand hotel again. I've used other hotel brands that give you a digital key for your room and let you even choose your room. I think this hotel has some updating to do! read more

This was a very nice hotel, great staff, texted me welcoming me to Broomfield, had a hot piping breakfast better than most (and included with room) Very nice, clean, modern room with full refer, stove, dishwasher and plates and pans................very nice. nice shower recently renovated. the only challenge at all here is that they have a hard time keeping their trash cans at front door clean and empty. They are ALWAYS overflowing. no one seems to pay attention to them and they are at the front door seen by ALL.....................................sad as everything else is so clean and fresh. The former Hyatt Summerfield Suites are the new Hyatt House, which is an extended stay hotel with a full compact kitchen including a full size refrigerator, stove and even a dishwasher. My room was like a compact studio. I assume the Hyatt Summerfield Suites did not do well, thus the name change. My room included one 37-inch flat screen TV, which could be conveniently rotated between the living area sofa or my king size bed room. This was my first hotel with a combo CD audio, DVD video player and an AV connection system. I never stayed at a Hyatt House. The Hyatt House Boulder/Broomfield was difficult to locate using my GPS. According to the front desk this is a common problem, due to the hotel name change from Summerfield Suites. My GPS did not locate the hotel address correctly. The hotel is very close to route 36. When I finally arrived I was just in time for their 5:30 evening buffet social, which included Fat Tire draft or wine. I opted for the local Fat Tire draft. The tomato soup, refried beans, nachos and cheeses were quite nice. The morning also included a very nice buffet with scrambled eggs, cheese and ham, yogurt and fresh fruit. Despite my initial difficulty to locate this hotel I will give this chain another try. read more

After just 2 check-ins I'm the Duke. In a tech heavy place like Boulder-Broomfield I would have thought it would take more than 2 check-ins! Anyway this is a very nice hotel and the @HyattConcierge staff is spot-on with the service at every turn. My only complaint is that the wind whistled fiercely around the windows and woke me up a few times during the night. Of course, it was the Chinook winds gusting around 80mph so I shouldn't complain. When I lived in the area there were times I was sure the Chinooks would peel the roof off of my house... read more

Got to stay here after buying an express deal on priceline, so we got the room for one night. The check in was quick and easy and we were given a room on the 4th floor with a pretty nice view. We went out and came back after one on a Friday night and the hotel was pretty quiet and peaceful. The gym is tiny, but you can get a basic work out on. Since we were only staying for a day we were surprised to have house keeping banging on the door at 8 in the morning? ! When I opened the door she just apologized. .. I asked her when check out was since. .. it was 8am on a Saturday morning and she had obviously woke me up. (O.o) Otherwise having complimentary breakfast is always nice. read more

Overall our time here was pleasant and I'd consider another stay. Location: Felt safe and is close to Denver & other key areas. Not a lot of traffic as it's off in the cut which was nice as well. Huge shopping area nearby in case you need supplies. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces, and it's free to park. Room: Spacious & clean. Had all the amenities we were looking for (stove/full fridge). AC gets frigid cold which is nice if you like that kind of thing. Love the fact they have windows you can open as a lot of hotels don't. Breakfast: Meh. Wasn't out of this world. They ran out of a lot of things and sometimes the items weren't entirely fresh. Options could be a bit more varied as well. Seemed very carb-y. Noise Level: There is a train close by and you most definitely hear it. Not sure if other areas of the building are less noisy, but if that's a big problem for you then ask in advance. No complaints here. I tend to look for cleanliness and safety as my top two concerns when spending time in a hotel and I think they measured up. read more

Two star ratings is for the horrible service. Pros: Good breakfast with a custom omelette station and lots of variety. Nice pool, very clean and lots of places to sit. Clean, comfortable rooms. Cons: Lobby stank of what smelled like B.O. and bad cologne for the entire four days. I mentioned it but the front desk didn't seem to care. Waited 40 minutes for a cheese tray at the bar. There was only one person besides me there... It shouldn't take that long to put some cheese and pickles on a plate! Then they put it on a flat tray and the liquid dripped all over my feet while I carried it up to my room. Housekeeping took our towels and didn't leave us any. And they left us with less than half a roll of tp. After letting the front desk know and waiting for THREE HOURS for more, I finally went down and got it myself. read more

We (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby and a dog) stayed at a 2 bedroom suite this time for a week. ......Where to begin.. They said the breakfast is ready at 7a but no. We (me, toddler and a baby) went down at 7:40 and NOTHING except 2 cups of yogurt was ready. Also, the ONLY plates they had at the breakfast was the size of 3yo's hand. I had 2 kids with me. Do you have any idea how many trips (lobby to our room) I had to make?? I even asked their staff, "Is there bigger plates..? They said "NO". Dishwasher is half-broken, and they only provided like 4 plates, 2 forks etc.. Also, the front desk lady is very RUDE. So if you are planning on staying here with kids, DON'T. If you are planning on staying here with your dog, DON'T. If you are planning on staying here, DON'T...... We will NOT be coming back here ever again. They are the worst. read more

Great stay, the staff were all great, conversational if I wanted and silent when I wanted. Rooms are well kept, they provide free hot breakfast with an omelette bar, also free. They also had a socializing time for the guests where they served free drinks and horderves at night. They also provide a shuttle service to take you anywhere in town and there was plenty to do. Overall great experience, the rooms were way more than I was expecting (it was like a mini apartment with a kitchen and everything), but the pricing was a bit much, $250 per night, thankfully I was on a business trip and didn't have to pay for it, but if I could afford it I would love to go again. read more

We checked into the Hyatt House at 13351 W Midway Blvd in Broomfield around 9PM after a late night flight. We were given a handicap room in the 2nd floor. The rooms are nice and spacious with a separate bedroom off the living/kitchen area. The bathroom had a large barn door style door on it for handicap access. So it did not keep the odor or noise out; basically zero bathroom privacy. During the night you could hear doors closing and people stomping around so loud on the floor above us, that it woke us up during the night several times. The next morning I contacted "Allie" who was running the front desk. I asked to be changed to a nonhandicap room because of the noise and the fact that we literally had to hang our coats on the kitchen cabinet handles because the handicap closest only had shelves and rods at wheelchair height. I told her I would pay for any change or upgrade. She said she would check with housekeeping later (like those people are calling the shots for room assignment) and let me know. She didn't even ask for my information until I insisted she write it down and call me back. I went back up to my room and got on the Hyatt web site and saw that they had availability for every type of room. I should also mention this hotel is under construction with remodel work and many areas have plastic taped over halls or areas, which distracts from the comfort and accommodations. Another thing worth noting is the walls and floors/ceilings are built very cheaply. I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and never been able to hear every door close, every conversation, or people walking around above my room to the point where it woke me up several times during the night. After a few hours, my wife went back down to talk to "Allie" again. We offered to pay any amount to upgrade and move our room and told her we saw on their web site that they did have rooms available. "Allie" said she had to hold those rooms in case "real customers" came in and that since we booked through a 3rd party like Expedia, we had to stay in the room and had no other option. She told my wife to "read the fine print" and it says in there that Expedia blocks out and books the worst or least desirable rooms in the hotel, such as handicap rooms. "Allie" basically said too bad, so sad. We packed our stuff up and moved across the street to the Holiday Inn Express. This costs us several hundred dollars in nonrefundable monies via Expedia, because we had 2 nights left on our stay at the Hyatt House of Cards. Two lessons learned here; never book through Expedia again for anything and never ever stay in a Hyatt Hotel. In my mind, Allie is to blame at Hyatt house for her inability to understand customer service and doing everything to accommodate the guests. Just a follow up: the General Mgr Chris Balenske responds to every negative review on Expedia with "I am so sorry, etc etc" and "hopes to make things better next time". I left several voice mails for him during and after our stay and asked that he call me. He is so sorry about this situation that he could never return the call. read more

First of all, I had issues with this hotel. The housekeeping staff didn't restock for the first two days I was there. I had to email the manager to rectify this. One of the desk staff, Tabor, needs to learn to be more professional and learn customer service skills. He's young, but has a lot to learn. Anyway, the manager rectified the issue to my satisfaction. First I want to say why this has a 3 star. It is all because of Chris who helped me so much at check in. He was great and patient with me as me and my wife are displaced from our home for 60 days. Got us in a room and location that workes well for both of us as we are currently working from home. Agian, if if wasnt for him this would be a 1. The location is good, room lay out good, etc. Where I got irritated was the kitchen was not cleaned well at all. There was crumbs and some type of chuncks in all the nooks and crannie and in the main arra. We were going to wipe it down given the Covid situation any how but it was not cleaned as a living, eating cooking area should be, regardless the environment we are all managing. Makes me question the due diligence. . After cleaning every drawer, cabnit, handles and counter with Clorox, I hand to mopped the floor. I used I a white wash cloth. The first few swipes, it was black. Glad I did it. Additionally when wife, did the fridge, counter tops, drawers, etc the paper towel was dirty. Seems like it had not been really cleaned. The knobs, switches, etc where the same way and the microwave had chunckes, etc. So disappointing with it all. If I had a vacume cleaner, I would have vaced as well given bits and stuff here and there through out the space. We moved from the Residence Inn To here given the Sq footage which is a bonus and up the rating. When we did a once over of that space, the cloroex wipes were clean. Not the case here. read more

We arrived pretty late at night and after a long 8 hour drive, we really just wanted to go to bed. When we entered the hotel, we noticed an odd smell but nothing too terrible. Upon checking in, we were greeted by two employees; a new employee being trained and another one conducting the training. Now, I am not opposed to on-the-job training because we've all been in there and the new employee was very friendly and kept the atmosphere pretty casual. The trainer, on the other hand was very... Micro-Manage-y and it was to the point where his attitude made us straight up uncomfortable! He made it a point to tell us how "other employees" run things a certain way, and he was on his way to put a stop to it. He also vented about how he was about to make a lot of changes with how things were currently... Yada Yada Yada. Then he insisted on the trainee to go over a predetermined checklist. As the trainee read item #1 in his head, he quietly whispered "I think they just want to go to bed." And we happily replied "we kind of do... It was a long drive." In which the trainer cut us off and said "NO. #1: state your name. Ok, you have your name tag on. #2: ...go on." And the new employee sheepishly started off with "Hi. How was your trip?" After a few -albeit grouchy- one word responses from us, the trainee took over once again and 20 mins later, we were finally making our way up to our room. The elevator opened once we got to our floor and we were greeted with a bucket catching whatever liquid was dripping from the ceiling. Alllllright. At this point we were exhausted and wanted to get to bed. We opened our room door and we were surprised by this awful pungent smell coming from the room. Around 2am we heard the train behind the hotel and that wasn't the greatest noise but at the tired state I was in, I frankly didn't care, either! When we woke up, we tried to catch breakfast but when we got downstairs, we received odd stares by the front desk employees... No "Good Morning" no smiles, just straight up stares. I know I didn't have anything on my face (I caught a glimpse of a mirror when we walked out) With that, we decided to stop at a Starbucks, instead. By our second night, we just wanted to check out early and either head home or check into a different hotel. I understand when you are staying at a hotel in which the amenities include a full kitchen you are taking the risk of booking a room with the previous tenant's food smell, but dang. It was straight up putrid. We stayed here because we've stayed at numerous hyatts including their Park Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place and Andaz locations and we really wanted to give this newish home-setting a try. Next time we are in the Boulder area, we will just splurge and stay at the St. Julien Hotel. read more

Everyone who works here and the hotel itself deserve as many stars as there are in the sky. I came here unexpectedly due some complications with the place I was staying in at the time. From the moment I arrived to the day that I left, which was a month in total, I truly felt like I was at home. The entire staff, especially Kayla, was so accommodating, and helped me with all kinds of requests. The breakfast is excellent, including the made-to-order omelette bar. They even have complimentary items like humidifiers, games, and umbrellas, really anything you might have at home. It's also conveniently located near the AB and FF1 RTD bus stops. All in all, I would highly recommend this Hyatt House to anyone! read more

Positives: The building itself is well-built and sturdy, which makes it a quieter place to stay. And, it's away from highway traffic, another plus. The evening social meal was very nice, with good basic ingredients and well presented. Another positive; the staff was very courteous and helpful at all times. I was impressed by their demeanor. It made the stay very pleasant. Also good, there were three (!) computers in the lobby for guests to use for internet browsing, and the internet speeds were quite good. Another great feature. Negatives: I stayed in December and it was cold, and wanted to turn up the heat in the room, but the thermostat control was auto set and could not be adjusted. That's a negative point with me. Also, I like baths: do any of the rooms at this place have bathtubs?? I'd stay again, but I'd ask for a bathtub in the room where I'll stay. read more

Cleanliness and Maintenance issues lacking at this property. Visiting family for the holiday weekend. We have stayed here before and things have changed. The staff is very nice but the room wear and tear is becoming noticeable. The in room maintenance and cleanliness on this visit was not at all what we have come to expect in the past. We are loyal Hyatt guests but after this visit we will probably go back the the Renaissance property across the freeway by the mall. Many issues from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective. Photos attached. Filthy blinds with splatter Of Food all over them. Curtains broken and falling off track. Kitchen blinds will not close. In the morning very bright at sunset. Our younger kids stayed in that room with pull-out sofa and because the blinds were broken and wouldn't close the beam of light woke them early each morning. The screens in the kitchen are filthy. Bugs. Dust. Dirt. Disgusting. When showering the shower door will not stay closed and the plastic rubber stripping is falling off and torn. Because of this the floor was soaking wet and had to be wiped up after each shower with the bathroom towels. Carpet from bedroom to bathroom pulling up and exposing tack strip which our one kid cut their foot on. The most disgusting part was the kitchen bench seat was so stained and filthy from some type of previous spill. Not sure why this has not been cleaned. Disgusting again. Nobody wanted to sit there because not quite sure what caused the stain. We are in the hospitality business. All of these details are able to be corrected if someone would walk these rooms and report and schedule simple maintenance and cleanliness issues. These details made this stay less than stellar and many of these issues are basic hotel 101 stuff. Unfortunate disappointing stay. Typically we write only great reviews and steer clear of negative reviews but this visit was really disappointing and we are big on cleanliness and many of these items were simply gross. read more

Certainly a clean and pleasant hotel, with an accompanying staff and convenient to the highway. Downside - it's built next to the railroad tracks and every time a train comes around the corner there they are blaring the horn. Not sure what time this was happening but was more than once and I think before six. It may have been what woke me up at 2 as well but I'm too tired to remember. Shortly after that we had a child or children upstairs jumping and banging....don't those types belong on the first floor? And the cleaning staff ties up the elevator for house keeping, so getting up and down in the morning was a bit time consuming. Now whereas most people pay for hotel rooms to sleep in, (and I really don't want to know what the rest of you buy them for haha) I didn't get much sleep at all making me extra cranky while waiting for the elevator. When you stay in a hotel and you don't want to leave!! I'm here waiting to go into labor, it's felt like a vacation I've never had to ask for anything it's all here conveniently. Staff is super professional and helpful especially Eric who would put up with my 4am cravings and awakenings at odd hours because I couldn't sleep, due to baby moving. Beds, couches all the entities of home with great people to look out for me. I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! I've stayed at this Hyatt House a couple of time and each time it has been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only trouble I had was communicating to housekeeping that I just needed her to come back because I was feeding my son while she came by to clean the room. She did not understand English. Luckily I was able to do some sort of hand gesture to make her understand. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bed is comfy - just the right amount of softness/firmness/fluff. The gym and free breakfast (which includes a cook making you a personalized omelette if you choose to have one) is a nice feature. The business center (where you can access computers for free) has REALLY slow computers. I think with the amount of traffic they get there with the demographics being business people - they should upgrade their computers. read more

After 30 days; I still have not gotten these points reimbursed from Hyatt into my account. I called the General Manager today December 5th; at the Hotel the operator was told I wanted to speak to the General Manager Dobsyn who replied back on Yelp a month ago. I was first time disconnected, then I called back and the operator rerouted me to the wrong persons voice mail (the operations manager a name I did not recognize), and the 3rd time I finally got the General Manager's Voice mail. I have left him a message just now requesting I receive my 8000 points as I was promised to get reimbursed back 30 days ago into my account. This poor experience continues on with this Hotel. Do not stay at the Hyatt House Boulder Broomfield. read more

This place is fantastic! New and modern rooms. Every room I've been in here is large and spacious with a full kitchen area. Beds are comfy. They have free bfast in the morning and happy hour at night. Super friendly shuttle driver... My favorite from the places I've stayed in Broomfield and Westminster! read more

We stayed here on a trip to Denver and boulder. It was nice to be out of the city. Pros- Nice room Nice surrounding area Quiet Decent breakfast with omelet station Cons- Fwy exit name was different than what the iPhone map said We were very happy with our stay here. read more

Wonderful hotel for extended stays. We stayed here from 9-20 December as we were relocating out of state. We had a two-bedroom suite - plenty of room for the four of us and our cat. Awesome staff. I liked how they learned our names within a couple of times of seeing us. Dave on the egg bar is a great cook also. I had the cheese, ham, and mushroom omlet almost every day of our stay. Great breakfasts - hard to beat! I used the workout room every day of our stay. Not very busy at 0530 - great time to go. Equipment is well maintained. Will definitely consider this hotel if I return to the area. read more

I am updating my review to give three stars. The manager listened to my main issue regarding the rude hotel front desk employee and responded very professionally.
