if I could give less stars or even negative stars for how we were treated I would! we specifically made reservations stating that we had 5 people and 5 dogs at this "pet friendly" hotel and we were told no more than two dogs per room so we got three rooms ( two dogs and two people for two of the rooms and one person and one dog for the third) for three nights we had explained that we were being displaced from our home because the waterline burst and flooded 1/3 of our upstairs and the whole basement. That my mother is elderly and our son and daughter are special needs. We were there only a couple of hours and when my wife stepped outside to smoke the manager informed her that we had too many dogs and that we have to checkout in the morning and not come back and accused us of smoking in the room saying that the owner "just isn't comfortable with that many dogs on the property" and if we wanted to stay that we can pay for every single person that wants a refund due to our dogs being there! our dogs are 4 t-cup healers and 1 Colly, all of them are very well trained Therapy dogs for special needs adults The dogs did bark a couple times but were instantly quiet because that's is how they let us know something is not right, they go to your feet and bark twice then walk slowly towards the noise it just took them a couple times to get used to the new environment with all the noise in the hallway. read more

My husband and I stayed at Hampton Inn for 4 days while visiting Longmont, CO. First impression: We liked the room. It was spacious and had everything we needed. However, the bathroom needs a deep clean: There was a stain in the bottom of the tub that wouldn't even come clean with disinfecting wipes (yes, we tried to clean it ourselves). There were also some stains on the wall. I liked that there was always lemon water and coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast was limited but good. The customer service was meh. The welcome wasn't warm but wasn't rude. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff seemed really nice. We were told there is room service every other day but that was not our experience. Our room was not cleaned and we had to ask for clean towels. When they brought towels to us, one of them was stained. It would be hard for me to recommend this hotel to anyone in good conscience. I will say the location is good as the public transportation has stops right in front and many restaurants are walking distance. With a few improvements, this could be an excellent option for your trip to Longmont. read more

I have stayed here are a couple of times now and the rooms are very clean bigger than what you would expect for the price. Beds are comfortable. I liked the size of the shower the water pressure was excellent. In the breakfast inn was much better than what you typically get from a hotel chain. Terrific location as well. You have to check the price it does fluctuate some. But for what I paid it was 100% worth it read more

An older property on the main road in Longmont, Hampton Inn is a good value. The property is a bit dated, but the amenities makes up for it. I stayed with work colleagues that have used the property for a few years for meetings in the area. Plus: * Great staff and amenities. * Breakfast is awesome - I stayed for three nights and breakfast every morning was different with different options: scrambled eggs, cheese omlet, bacon, turkey sausage, breakfast patty, with oatmeals, fruits, and muffins, bread. * Manager's Reception (happy hour!) Local brew or Coors Lite - I opted for the local brew, although Coors is also a "local" Colorado brew from Golden; plus like breakfast, different dining options every eveing. * Gym is decent - small room with a threadmill, recumbent bike, Elliptical, dumbbells (5-50 lbs), adjustable bench, and exercise balls. It's tight, perfect for one person working out, but two, three people and it's already crowded. The good part is that if you need access to a "real" gym, the hotel has an agreement with a local gym. Cons: * The property is a bit small and dated * Located off the main road going into downtown Longmont, the closest eating/watering establishment is a bit away. Despite the cons, the Hampton Inn Longmont is a great value and place to stay. I rate it 3.5, rounded up to 4. read more

I wouldn't say this hotel is exceptional, but it's definitely above average. We stayed here two nights last week and everything was good. Kind, helpful staff, clean room, comfy bed, good location. We ended up spending more time here than we thought b/c of the East Troublesome fire. I was glad this is where we happened to be when the park closed. Our stay here in Longmont was like staying with family. The gals at the front desk were very friendly, Darlene, KB & Amy. The breakfast area was great! Rosario was always making sure the food was always there. We had a non- working iron in our roo. And that was handled by giving us a new iron. The housekeepers were great to only refreshing our towels when requested. Next time we are in Longmont thus is where we will stay. The hot tub was great, too! Fresh cookies at the counter every night! Bill the maintenance guy replaced our remote batteries within a few minutes of saying our remote died! Great 3 day stay - called down for a couple extra towels, 4 min later, knock, knock and they were there. My wife took advantage of the moment and asked for a fridge and to my surprise he said " sure, be right back" and a moment later he was plugging a fridge- microwave combo. Perhaps not the newest Hampton Inn, but the breakfasts were good and during our stay, they had a complimentary dinner. Nice extra, and the manager was running the dinner. Comfortable room, great view, helpful and polite staff. I would stay again if we come back to this beautiful area. read more

i've stayed here four times now on my frequent trips to CO to see family. The price is right, and the location can't be beat (two blocks from 1-25 access and right on 287 as it heads into town from the south. Reception is always courteous and helpful.It also has an indoor hottub and pool although I haven't used them yet. Tortuga's is a 5 minute drive away so you have a great dining option nearby also. This is exactly what you are paying for so I was surprised to see negative reviews - it's not a city hotel with valet and room service, it's a budget hotel in a convenient location with *some* amenities. I have no complaints about cleanliness in my experiences here. I spend an average of 30-45 nights every year in hotels and am a hilton honors gold member so consider myself a fair judge of their properties - this place is just fine for a few nights in town and we will be back this coming summer again! read more

My husband and I book several rooms at this hotel for our wedding guests. We encountered multiple problems throughout our stay. The hotel double charged my in-laws who paid in cash but were also charged one week later on the debit card that was holding the room. My grandmothers room reservation was lost. We ended up having to give another family members room to her. My father in-law was walked in on in his boxers by the maid on the day we checked in. She never knocked and there was no reason for her to be there. My brother in-law was woken up by a maintanence staff who entered his room to apparently "check the smoke detectors". After being a long time patron of Hampton Inn, I will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere due to the fact that we spent a lot of money here and NONE of these issues were resolved. When trying to clear the mistake of my in-laws being double charged (my in-laws drove all the way back to Longmont the following week when the charge came through), the desk attendant asked for the in-laws bank account so that he could call and talk with the bank about the charge. This was COMPLETELY innapropriate. read more

I usually try to stay at Hamptons when I'm traveling, both for business or pleasure, since their consistency of quality and service are usually high. This location is no exception. It's clean, nearly-new in appearance, and has some nice perks. For example, they have this "Manager's Reception" Mondays-Thursdays, which is like a happy hour but with free beer and wine for guests! What's not to like about that?? They also have good wi-fi service and a nice swimming pool with an adjacent exercise room. Every morning they feature a different hot breakfast. It's modest in scope but palatable, and free to guests. Best of all: THE COFFEE IS GOOD. At least that applies to the "extra bold" flavor. I didn't even miss having a Starbucks in the vicinity, and that's REALLY unusual! They are very conveniently located on South Main very close to the intersection of Highway 119 in Longmont. read more

I'm not sure why anyone would rate this hotel anything less than 5 stars. It was clean, quiet, had an awesome pool/ hot tub, great breakfast and the staff was very friendly. The lady at the front desk who checked us out even lowered our rate from the first night to match our rate from our second night which was $15 cheaper. Although at checkin the receptionist seemed a Little overwhelmed; she was extremely friendly and customer focused. Room has been clean, smells nice, roomy. Had an issue with the refrigerator and reported it. I immediately had a new refrigerator in my room. I have to say that customer satisfaction is the highest I've seen at most hotels. The hotel is close to most restaurants and bars. Approximately 40-45 mins to DIA. I'd recommend anyone to stay here. read more

I reserved a room for my wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve. I went through booking.com. On the site, it said "free cancellation before Dec. 29", but my confirmation said "no cancellations". 2 weeks before my stay, I realized I made a mistake and booked in the wrong city! I BEGGED for a refund (it was their option to make an exception), but they still charged me. $150 and I didn't even stay there! They are warm, welcoming, caring, friendly, happy, and professional, and they all seem to like working here and greeting guests and making sure they have a great stay at the Hampton Inn and the area. A very tired version of Hampton Inn. The rooms are dated and the bathroom is small and had grimy tile. The bathroom door swung in and created an even more cramped space. I swear my bed had bedbugs as I woke up daily to itchy legs and bites on my feet. When checking out I asked about when a renovation was scheduled. The front desk clerk immediately got defensive and rattled off a list of recent furniture purchases. After mentioning the possibility of bedbugs she clammed up and offered no apology or concern. I am a Hilton Honors gold member and will be reporting this up the chain. Worst experience I've ever had at a Hilton property. read more

Great stay, great hotel. Kyle, the manager on duty was awesome! He was very helpful, easy to talk to, and got us in with no problems. I loved that they offered smoking rooms, don't worry the hotel does not smell like smoke. Even the smoking room barely smelled of smoke. The continental breakfast had a good selection and their coffee is awesome. My only complaint is the doors. The doors to not have springs so they all slam shut no matter how quietly you try to shut them. It got old listening to slamming doors late at night and early in the morning. We have a buddy that just opened a tattoo shop in Longmont, so we will definitely stay here again! read more

Great location for what I needed. Property was clean and well lit on arrival. Inside was spotless. Brad, Asst GM, was on staff. Great guy. Helpful. Personable. Professional. I didn't take advantage on breakfast, but it looked substantial. The room. Spotless. Duvet cover washed and was fresh for each new occupant. Nice touch. Wireless connectivity was easy peasy. For a Hampton Inn, there is not much to complain about snd much to praise. We checked in using the app and got a free upgrade to a king suite which had a sofa area, large fridge for a hotel room, and microwave. I loved the bedding and the Neutrogena products in the bathroom. The coffee in the lobby -- which seemed to be available most of the day -- was great and saved me several trips to Starbucks. The breakfast buffet had good options from waffles and whipped cream to not-instant oatmeal, fruit, eggs, etc. My only complaint is the tiny, cramped warm fitness room (one bike, one elliptical, one treadmill) but it would take a substantial remodel to give it more space. read more

Very nice place. Spent 1 night. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel itself was nice and clean. I didn't have an opportunity to encounter any of the staff other than passing the front check in desk in my comings and goings. The staff always looked up and spoke in a friendly manner each time. The breakfast was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of comfy pillows. I will be happy to stay again if the opportunity arises. It is located very near I-25 and has many wonderful eating establishments. I would recommend Pumphouse Brewery and Lucile's Creole Cafe for excellent food. All of my expectations were met to make my overnight stay very pleasant. read more
