Elijah was awesome. He was the best hotel receptionist I have either deal with! He went well beyond for his customers. The hotel was absolutely fantastic from the bedding to the buffet breakfast and all the fixings. I especially liked the Talking Cedar was right across the parking lot so easy assess you don't have to cross any major highways to get to it! Parking is complementary with plenty of spots. Definitely will stay here next time I'm in town visiting family. I was traveling alone and always felt safe. There are plenty of fast food and mini marts in the area for your convenience. read more

The hotel bedroom size was wonderful. We were in Rochester for a family wedding and this hotel was a 10min drive from that location. We booked this hotel last minute and they ended up only having a King Suite with a pull out couch that ended up working fine for us. The hotel is well maintained and the rooms are spacious. It was nice to have the extra walking space from not having two double queens. There is plenty of fast food restaurants around and dutch bros for coffee. They even had a local brewery and restaurant that was located walking distance from the hotels front door. My kids were excited for the indoor pool but unfortunately didn't have the time to use it. Breakfast was soo good. They offered the usual eggs, sausage, waffles and cold options but this location served biscuits and gravy while we were there which was nice for us since we'd been staying at hotels along the way. This hotel also has free parking which is nice. Highly recommend this hotel if you're in the Rochester area and need a night stay. Front desk staff as very nice and even lady bringing out the breakfast items. read more

Very nice I prefer to stay in this hotel every place I go. Most are very clean great location and most of the time, the price is right.

Swimming pool area is not heated. The water is warm, but the air is so cold you can't really use the pool because it's freezing when you get out. read more

Not a quite pleasent experience. On check-in I was being told one customer is being degraded to provide me a room but few minutes later- I was given options to choose among many. Also for breakfast, very limited options. Additional of diced potatoes will be good. read more

Worst customer service I've ever dealt with. When we arrived on the first night we had decided that we should stay 2 nights so we didn't have to drive home after what we had planned Saturday. So we asked the front desk person if we could extend our stay a second night. The guy said he could not do it tonight but to check back in the morning (even though online there were rooms available) we also said if the room we were in wasn't available we had no issue with moving. Next day we checked back. Was told we should just book online. Not sure why the front desk couldn't help us once again. But I went back down to confirm every room was dog friendly so we didn't end up with a room our dog couldn't go in. Then was told they could help us but after 9am. Came back right before 9 to check out of first room (which was paid for by my dad). Then was told they would get us a room but it wouldn't be the same one. Which was fine cause we had already packed up everything incase we had to move. Was there for about 15 mins and was then told she would have to do it later and would call me once house keeping was in to see if we could book the same room. We had places to be so we left. I didn't get a call after a couple hours. So my step mom called because she could tell at this point I was frustrated then told her they could keep us in the Same room and asked for my new card into to book since I was paying for this night. We had checked out from the room completely while we were gone. When we came back I got new keys for the same room. Thought okay cool we got it all worked out. Enjoyed the pool and our night there. Check out the next morning and the lady at the front desk tried to charge me for 2 nights even though my dad had already paid for the first night and we had checked out. So this transaction should have been totally separate and only one night. The lady at the desk admitted they had made a mistake but couldn't understand how it happened or how to fix it. We wanted a refund of one night because my dad had already paid for the other night on his card. she said she voided the first transaction on my card for two nights and only charged me for one but gave me a receipt with a balance owed on it. Then we heard the staff talking bad about us as we tried to enjoy our breakfast before we left. That is so unprofessional and when it was their mistakes! We were frustrated but we were not rude in any fashion and was just asking for the mistake to be corrected. Didn't ask for any extra or discount for trouble nothing. We also asked for a manager multiple times and even though the sign said someone was on duty was told there was no manager. My step mom is gonna write a complaint to high ups with names and more details. I will never stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I am shocked at the inability of every single person there that couldn't do their job and of the lack of customer service. This we checked in at 10ish Friday the 26th and checked out Sunday around 8-9am. If that helps find the employees responsible. read more

This is a very nice hotel. The place is clean; the staff are very friendly and professional; security is excellent; it's in walking distance of Starbucks, a Distillery, and some fast food places; it's right next to the freeway. They also have a swimming pool, fitness center, and offer a breakfast. They have a nice nature preserve in the back, and beautiful open skies visible from the parking lot. This hotel is in a beautiful landscape, and the people working here are very nice. read more

We were so happy with the choice of our team to stay here for our Softball Tournament in Centralia. The hotel is clean and modern. Beds were comfy, breakfast was plentiful and the staff was awesome. We ended up having an Impromptu dinner (pizza) and games in the lobby with our whole team and parents. The staff was so accommodating. Pool and gym were great too. We will defiantly be back and would recommend to anyone looking for an accommodating, welcoming, comfortable, place to stay in the area! read more

Stayed at Fairfield for one night for a wedding in the area. They were able to accommodate my request for an earlier check in which was highly appreciated. Staff was friendly and check in was smooth. Our room was as advertised. It had complimentary shampoo and conditioner in REGULAR size bottles! Definitely prefer this over the tiny bottles other hotels typically carry - I can wash my thick, long hair properly! The bathroom can benefit from a vanity mirror or a brighter bathroom to apply makeup easier. Bed was comfortable and never heard any neighboring rooms. Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Waffles, eggs (hardboiled, scrambled, or omelet with cheese), yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, breakfast sausage, coffee/tea, juice, and bagels/toast. Weekend continental breakfast ends at 10am which is awesome!! read more

We have stayed here about 3 times before. My husband has work and I stay at the hotel. We were suppose to have inland views? I probably would not care so much but I'm in the room most of the day. Plus we are titanium status and you would think they would put us in a better room. Good coffee in the lobby, nice breakfast bar, small pool, comfortable rooms. read more

I spent a moment trying to be objective & couldn't really come up with areas needed for improvement. The location is great, easy access off the freeway. If you want to head east to Yelm, west to the casino or Ocean, north to Olympia/Tacoma/Seattle or south to the outlets or Portland...boy are you in a great place. The service is professional and as you ride up the elevator you can smell the scent from them cleaning the elevators. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast has tons of options including healthy ones and crazy as it may sound...the coffee in the lobby held its own against the Starbucks in their parking lot (saved me a few bucks). One might fuss about the cost, but 1- it's not really a huge amount more than other options and 2- if you take advantage of the breakfast options, you're offsetting some of that cost. read more

Very nice accomodations, very modern, comfortable, clean and friendly staff. Fridge & microwave in room, we had the king bed room with a sitting room, 2 tv's. Nice clean indoor pool & gym. The FREE breakfast as far as free hotel ones go was great. Eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurts, fruits, juices, cereals, waffle maker, milk, coffee & teas... This Fairfield has better service than 90% of the Marriott's and Courtyards that I have stayed at. The front desk folks where very welcoming and got me right into my room without any hiccups. What really impressed me is that within the Marriott app you can pre-set your "preferences" so that your room is prepared the way you like it when you get there. Ex. extra pillows, towels, bath amentities, high floor, etc. I have my app always set at extra pillows and a high floor. In my entire tenure as a Marriotter ( Gold Elite) I have NEVER, EVER, had a hotel actually follow through on those items. THIS PLACE DID. AMAZING! Even when I checked in, the women at the front desk doubled checked my preferences with me to make sure they got it right. I was shocked (in the best possible way)! Even when I've stayed at JW's or Autograph collection hotels, none of the high-end hotels give a crap about you. This FairField Inn, in the middle of nowhere, has by far the best service I've ever experienced at a Marriott property. The rooms are nice and clean as I think the property is relatively new and the breakfast in the morning is awesome. For those of you who are Marriott members, you all know that Gold Elite and below got F'd with the new SPG merger and we no longer get breakfast. But at Fairfield inn's everyone get's breakfast! And it's actually really good too! Overall, this place is awesome. Only downside is your in the middle of nowhere so expect to eat McDonalds or Jack In the Box for dinner. Great job folks and I think some of the other Marriott property managers need to come visit you guys and get schooled in hospitality as you all make other Marriott's service look, well... not so great... read more

I would give the staff, hotel and room 5 stars. The breakfast was a 4. I wish the bacon would've been a little better (quality-wise) and the sausage had a weird taste, I thought. The cheese omelettes were filled with fake cheese that I did not find appetizing, even with the salsa they have available. However, they do stock their mini fridge with small snacks (yogurt, hard boiled eggs are what I recall) and that is accessible for the guests 24 hours. I ate the biscuits and gravy, the fruit (which, I discovered was hit-n-miss) and yogurt and it was great for getting going. The coffee was very good, and they have everything needed to make a good cup. They do have the coffee mate flavored coffee creamer, which was nice. The pool area was nice, the outside patio was nice and the gym looked nice too. I would definitely stay again. read more

This hotel was awesome! So spacious. Very clean. The staff was friendly. Their continental breakfast was so good and they had plenty to choose from. I would definitely stay there again when in the area. They have a washer and dryer for $1.50 each load. A pool that is somewhat heated. Peaceful. read more

The hotel itself is nice enough, but I warn anyone thinking of staying there. Two weeks ago I stayed one night there and two days later when I went to fuel up my truck I discovered that the some low life cut my fuel tank hose to siphon the diesel out of my truck while I stayed at this hotel. (I would not make this statement if I had not back tracked to all the possible places it could have happened and finally found the piece of cut out hose in the hotel parking lot right where I had parked). I contacted the hotel and was informed that they do not have security or cameras that monitor the parking lot at all. The mechanic that repaired the cut line ($285) said that there were several similar incidents in the area. read more
