Let me start off by saying my hopes weren't the highest when I first booked it for our family. I was in a bind and needed a place with an indoor pool for some much needed affordable family fun. Little did I know, I was about to find our new favorite spot. Clean rooms, kind staff, and a pool with great hours. The hotel features lots of native art and information about the chehalis tribe which I loved. It has a sky bridge that connects to the casino, so you can go play or get food/drinks. We recently stayed a night at the Lucky Eagle Hotel, it honestly wasn't that impressive for how much a nights stay costs. You could stay at another hotel for half the price and still get the same accommodations and service, plus some. The only thing that was really different from any other hotel, is that there is a slots gaming room in the lobby and a casino right next door. The staff was decent at check in, however, they gave us no information about anything the hotel had to offer. They gave us the directions to the elevator to get to our room and that was it. The food that was available next door was okay, but very greasy. The employees at both coffee shops within the hotel and casino, do not know how to make espresso drinks very well, if at all. The room was nice, spacious and clean. The bed was decent and they did give you two complimentary waters in the fridge. They also had an abundance of dogs on the premises. It did not seem as though they do a very good job separating the rooms that animals are allowed in vs. not allowed in. The air vent in the room made a very loud noise that was pretty annoying when trying to sleep. The hotel was overall I say 3 stars. There was good and bad. I wouldn't necessarily choose it at a place to go again, unless I had to go to the area. read more

I haven't been to the Lucky Eagle in many years. It was recommended to me by a friend and so I decided to make that my nights stay, as I work on the road a lot and thought it would be a good getaway instead of the standard fare. I made my reservation after a failedattempt at booking.com I was unable to get my discount and had to go direct to the hotel which was $30 more. They charged me $50 for my pet which I was prepared to pay though I thought was a bit expensive. When I arrived at the front desk I was told I did not have a reservation. I had called directly to the hotel and spoke with the gal at the front desk and giving her my credit card number she told me that she would see me when I got there and gave me no indication that there was any problems. The story then upon my arrival changed to my card was declining and so they canceled my reservation, which was nothing short of baloney. They let that sit in my head for about 20 seconds before reinstating the reservation and retaking my card which clearly went through without problem. Strike one. We played some slot machines for a while until it was time to go off to our room. I called the front desk to ask if they had room service to which she replied, "No we don't is there something else you need?" Again, poor customer service. What should've been said was that they did not have room service however they did have some restaurants still open at the end of the casino. Strike two. I'm sitting in my room with a cold burger and some product on the side called "goop". We Ordered bacon cheeseburgers. We received bacon cheeseburgers with no bacon and we're charge two dollars per burger to add the bacon. Strike three. The walkway between the hotel and the casino is out of order. There's poor lighting in the parking lot. I'm not sure that a night stay here is something I will do again read more

When they say check in is at 3pm, that is exactly what they mean. We called to see if a room may be open any sooner for early check in and was cut short and informed they will not contact housekeeping until 3pm if there is a delay. We arrived at 2:10 and were informed the room would be ready in 30-45 mins. at 2:53 we were offered a different room type. We asked approximately how long it would take for our room to be ready. Staff stated that they did not have an approximate time frame since they would not contact anyone in housekeeping until at least 3pm since check in really isn't even until then. It's currently 3:27pm, not that I care about the time at all. It's the tone when we go to the desk ( now 20 mins later) and are greeted with "Yeah sir, I know you're waiting." When in reality we would have just swapped room types if easier. Then as the time is getting to me I'm informed "You could go across the street if you haven't been. Sir, you don't look very happy, do you want some water?" I care about how extremely robotic and seemingly disconnected the staff seems. Unhappy? Not impressed at all. First thing you notice when you walk in the building is the amount of cigarette smoke you are assaulted with . There is a smoking gambling lounge next to the lobby on the first floor. What idiot decided to put a smoking room on the first floor of a hotel building ? You can smell everywhere including the hallways upstairs.The whole building smells like an ashtray. Never staying there again. read more

Best casino you'll have experience quality service hired not for experience but the ability to provide quality customer care, the machines are the most updated, we might have our wedding their, Pete & I were very surprised to have a upgrade to our discount room to a better suite when we got engaged thanks to front desk guy who took care of us last minute around 2am in the morning we were there just last night & had an amazing time. The only reason why I have this place a 3 and not a 2 is because there was complimentary water in the fridge( it's the small things). Upon checking in I was told that I was in a smoking room. My company didn't book me in one but hotel staff said I had no choice. Other than being told where the elevator was , I wasn't told anything else about what was offered here. I wasn't told if there was breakfast available, if there was a pool , room service , laundry , house keeping or anything. I was given my key and told where the elevator was. Rooms are fairly clean but the smell of stale smoke is almost unbearable . The ac rattles , the comforter on the bed is paper thin. But on the plus side, they have plenty of parking. I can't recommend this place, and when I check out I won't come back and I'll buy my coffee at a convenience store. I wouldn't grace this place with another dollar of my money. read more

I loved staying at this hotel. We made a quick reservation while driving through town and it was so worth it. We stayed in a suite and the room was very clean and very spacious. It was only two adults and two teens and everyone had plenty of room to spread out. After being in a car for 12 hours we needed the space. The front desk staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Good breakfast options. Everyone seemed to be happy to be working there. We didn't have any issues at all with any requests. I will definitely be staying here again when I drive through again. read more

Most definitely recommend this hotel. Found it on Yelp during a late night travel to Aberdeen, WA. Great price and good customer service. Very clean and has a great shower. Will stay here again and highly recommend to other travelers and family. read more

Stayed for a AAU basketball tournament with our 6th grade boys team, our kids were harassed by an older adult male. Security first said they would remove man from property, then they found out who he was with just won a jack pot and told us they were allowing him to stay because it was all a misunderstanding. Then harassed the team dads the rest of night. Very disturbing that they chose to let him stay to try and recoup the jackpot his party won then put kids safety first. Never will come back to this spot again. But that's ok with me, I was not impressed at all with anything. I listened to the maids gossip when they were in hall by my room and heard them complain that one of the maids snitched to the boss about maids not stripping the sheets. Disgusting!! read more

Don't believe what they tell you is the price when you make reservations. They added a $55 'incidental' fee on top of the high nightly fee even though I'd stayed there many times and never had that before. And it was very inappropriate for the desk clerk I was talking to refer to me constantly as 'love' until I told her not to call me that again. I will not stay there again. read more

They must have realized that making a 2 night stay policy, that kept us away for a few months, may not have been a good idea. Thankfully that policy has been canceled, and they raised the room rates quite a bit. However, since this was our favorite night out place to see a show, eat a nice meal, have some adult beverages, gamble a bit, and spend the night in the hotel ,(don't drink and drive)we will resume coming here. Although with the substantial room rate increases, maybe not as often. Was often every few weeks, now maybe only for the better shows, like the Dwight Yokum concert, which was great btw. Still love the staff, rooms are almost always perfect, and the full serve restaurants are very good with great service. read more

The room was clean and very accommodating. Staff was extremely helpful. The only negative if you are playing and have drinks you cannot walk to your room since you have to go outside. The slots were really tight while we were there but overall a nice experience. read more

The hotel room dirty when we came in. Found a pair for socks that did not belong to me next to the bed. Asked the staff for a 2pm check out when i made the reservations they agreed and then called me at 12pm saying they did not have a 2 pm check out and we needed to get out stuff out of the room. Staff was unwilling to help or be accommodated, felt very brushed off. Ohhhh and the floor might be more comfortable than the beds. Will not return here ! read more

We have an electric car and we got there just barely, we were under E. So I went to find out about a room and plugging in my car. First he knows we are stuck, said the only thing left was a suite, ok, but we still have to pay for an RV site to charge my car. It requires a regular 110 outlet. Then my husband had to wait 25 minutes for a security guard (whom he found in the game room on her computer) in the room the television didn't work, the air conditioning was confusing, and the jets in the tub didn't work. They fixed the tv and explained the air conditioner, and just one more thing, it smelled like nasty cigarette smoke throughout. This is just poor management issues, with less than 0 for customer services. One night (emergency situation) over 300 dollars, and no breakfast, definitely no warm fuzzies. The management needs to be able to unlock electricity outlets or plug a 110 outlet on the side of the building. Would have appreciated management to step up read more

I spent my birthday weekend here. The hotel was clean and well furnished. Beds were awesome. Every employee that we interacted with was beyond nice. Very impressed. The downside is their slot machines are pricey and not very generous. The restaurant and buffet were both excellent. read more

My wife and I went to stay overnight for our first time there. We were really looking forward to a nice weekend vacation. It turned out to be the worst time ever. HORRIBLE!! We were eating in their restraunt and up came a supervisor telling us that after someone reported us being intoxicated they were letting us know we were cut off of drinking alcohol for 24 hours. I explained to her that we were not drinking and asked what criteria she is relying on. No answer. WE WERE NOT DRUNK. PERIOD. A couple bloody Mary's over a 3 hour period is not getting drunk. When the waiter asked us what drinks we wanted we said water. We didn't order alcohol or even come in with alcohol. So I tell her that perhaps someone misunderstood my wife's disability from a brain operation and thought she was drunk. NO ANSWER. The dinner we were in the middle of was abandoned. We would have abandoned the casino had we not planned to spend the evening there with good friends who were sharing their room with us. At the very least they could have asked us to have a private conversation before or after we ate rather than add insult to injury by ruining our dinner and publically embarrassing us in front of 30 plus people. ESPECIALLY embarrasing my wife by discussing her disability in an attempt to find a reason because alcohol was certainly not the reason.Now we get to spread more about my wife's private business ABOUT HER DISABILITY in order to share this. She already has enough social anxiety without this complete rudeness and lack of consideration. I spent a lot of time attempting to get someone in that place to make this right and they FAILED. A couple people were understanding but not in a position or authority to do much. They gave me a non refundable coupon for a meal in the very same restraunt that we were abused in which only reimbursed us for the meal we already paid for and they ruined. I told the lady that a big part of her job was to get customers to return and that she failed. Don't let them treat you like this and try to blame the Washington liquor board or whoever. It was their unprofessionalism to start with and no one elses. If there was a ZERO rating that is what youd get. read more
