It's a great place to get away from the stress of modern worries and just get back to nature. And all of that is just what's on the outside. What's on the inside is an astounding couple, Jamee and Dal, who were more than hospitable. They make the experience feel like home. Each morning we woke up to an amazing home cooked breakfast and such pleasant conversation. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing vacation. We plan on returning very soon. The room is incredibly spacious and well-equipped with a king bed, couch, additional seating, a mini-fridge, and an armoire--the perfect amount of space for two people. The bathroom is equally roomy with a great walk-in shower, and Wi-Fi is available. A few helpful logistical tips for future guests: Accessibility: The entrance is up a beautiful stone stairway to a small patio. There is no elevator, so keep this in mind if you are traveling with heavy luggage. Arrival: Pay close attention to the address signs! The driveway is easily missed and the roads leading in are quite narrow. The Vibe: This is a lovely, no-frills accommodation. Communication is minimal and done strictly via email or phone calls (no texting), and it is cash-only. The owners live on-site and whip up a delicious breakfast every morning. Their fresh-from-the-oven popovers were an absolute highlight--we grabbed a handful to snack on throughout the day, and they were just as good cold! My only minor regret is that I would have loved to explore the beautiful property more, but I wasn't entirely sure which areas were off-limits. Next time, I'll definitely be sure to ask the hosts for a quick property tour. The owners are incredibly accommodating, and this location is well worth the stay. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to future guests!

The scenery is incredible even right out the living room window. I have never been disappointed staying here. The hosts are AMAZING! The fridge is fully stocked with breakfast stuff and the pantry is full. Did I mention the hottub?? Sweet! It may be on the deck of the main house, but we always get privacy when we use it. They think of everything you need here and make you feel extremely welcome. I have been 3 times already (I know, slow on the review) and hope to be back very, very soon!

Opening up their warm and gorgeous castle to you, Kat and Donn make great hosts that have that unique balance of being friendly and leaving you to discover on your own. The rooms are beautiful, the First Light room, even at the smallest room, was still well appointed with a walk in closet modified into a treasure chest of books, movies, games, a mini fridge and food area (both stocked with snacks even!) water container, extra towels, blankets, serious, it's like a huge cupboard of goodness. Breakfast was divine, seriously, that woman should open up a restaurant closer to me so I can eat there all the time! We stayed two days and were sad to go, I could have been happy there for a week. They have a myraid of animals that roam about and we made fast friends with the cat and pups, having those as tourguides around the grounds was a nice welcome. But let me tell you, that Turkish steam shower? Wow. WOOOOOOWWWWW! As relaxing as it sounds. Maybe more so. Overall, I can't wait to return and with the great prices and fantastic food that comes along with it, it's a sure thing we'll be back again and again. There are enough beds to comfortably sleep 16-18 adults and enough available floor space for a number of air mattresses if needed! The grounds are so beautiful with green horse pastures, blossoming trees and flowers and the perfect white wooden fence to compliment the barn-red house. The owner was quick to respond to questions and needs while we were there and has appointed the house with beautiful bedding, art and decorations. For a gathering of good friends sharing experience strength and hope, a family reunion or a special wedding or anniversary party this property will not disappoint. We'll be back next year!

Rainier. There are plenty of bedrooms and sleeping spaces, which was terrific for our group. I will say that the cost per night is significantly higher this year than it was in 2015, and that was a struggle for our organization. I cannot say it is worth the new high cost per night. If you're planning a wedding, or need a retreat location, consider the Manor at South Bay, as long as you're willing to spend the money.

The historic "colonial revival" home was built in 1905 and it was a delight to stay here. This inn is the only Bed & Breakfast on Washington's central coast area. Nice to see that the inn survived the pandemic.

We live in Las Vegas and we were visiting Aberdeen for a funeral. This is the town my husband grew up in and he hadn't been back in over 20 years. We could not find Hotels in the area, only motels. I was pleasantly surprised to have found this B&B and quickly booked the Canterbury room. It was clean, cozy and spacious. The bathroom was large and it had a lot of counter space for makeup and toiletries. The Aberdeen weather in March is pretty cold, but it was nice to return to a nice cozy and warm room in the evenings after spending the day with family. Breakfast was amazing! Billy, Cindy's son, is a great cook and very hospitable just like her. I returned to Las Vegas and missed eating my breakfasts overlooking the harbor and the beautiful Broadway Hill neighborhood. We also enjoyed great conversations a couple of days with a Doctor whom we met there. It was a great visit/vacation to my husband's hometown. Thank you Cindy and Billy for your hospitality!
