I felt as if I could actually trust what they were saying, and they were not just speaking words. The rates were within my budget. I had all 4-5 teeth pulled on the same day and I felt no pain what so ever. They made sure we took small breaks in between. My flipper was ready in time for the wedding and it was PERFECT. I never had to to have it re-fitted, or any adjustments. This was almost 10 years ago and its still in perfect condition and I wear it EVERYDAY. First I had to pay a new patient deposit. Never had to do this for any of my previous dentists. I should have been given a new customer deposit instead for the service I was about to receive. During my initial appointment I was told that i needed quite a bit of work totaling $6220. Basically was told a few other things i needed not included in this price as well. The first item i did need done but the rest seemed way more than my last dentist had recommended. Scare tactics that made me angry. I prepaid for the first service/appointment ($2075) in full before any work had been done. After the visit and once my insurance finally paid their portion I asked to be reimbursed what was remaining ($875). Had to call several times to get this rectified to only be told I did not know how my dental insurance worked. Fast forward to my wife and daughter going for cleanings. Never got a bill only a late payment notice saying we owed for these visits in full. I had my insurance statement showing they had paid their part several months before I received the late notice. Conover lost the payment somehow. Had to go in their office in person because over the phone they could not understand what I was telling them. Went in and paid my part and told them they needed to rebill my insurance. Got another late payment notice for this same bill stating if not taken care of it could go to collections. They could not even transfer our dental records to our new dentist correctly. My new dentist visit revealed I did not in fact need all the above work. The work i did have at Conover still hurts as well. But hey they give you some cool socks. I would look elsewhere for dental care. This place does not treat you like a customer only like a bank account.

And I've never heard of that at a dentists office if you need a tooth fixed or a filling and your having issues why not deal with the tooth issues then deal with the cleaning later I have had numerous bad dentists and was looking for a good one? She Was not nice about it either and could care less about my situation. It's all about those greenbacks, that's it I had them to give and they still didn't want my business she told me I was getting a cleaning or he wouldn't see me. Absolutely ridiculous to be talked to like a child. The establishment is clean, staff are friendly, and it looks like they have up to date equipment and technology compared to the last dentist I had here at Cincinnati. And they didn't even push to do any type of upgrades etc. Which is nice! Teeth cleaning went well, overall a good experience. I had gone in for a cleaning and asked if they could round off a tooth that was poking me.... 20 minutes later, the doctor had used a putty to reshape all of my teeth to tell me how much better veneers would look on me. They also apparently had to fill all these cavities I supposedly had. My doctor was appalled at how deep they drilled for a routine cavity and now I may have to get a root canal as a result. Truly the worst type of people that only want your money and that's it. Never would recommend as a dentist. Unrelated, but when calling them just now to reschedule an appt for my boss, Google lists two different numbers and their website has a third number. Shocker, all if the numbers lead to the same time with a menu to choose from. All choices lead to someone named Tristan and it goes straight to her voicemail without ringing and once you get to the end and are waiting for the beep to leave a message, the phones hang up on you. Every single time. Literally every time I learn something new about this dental group it's always bad. Don't waste your time, money, or sanity.

For the past three days, our son has been in pain. He had a loose baby tooth that was not coming out and had begun to hurt terribly. It was so bad he was missing school. By the third day we called and asked Dr Crutchfield to take a look at it. Previously, he needed surgery for teeth that had not come out naturally. After explaining the situation to the receptionist (who was yawning throughout) we eagerly awaited a call back. Later the receptionist called back and told us "baby teeth can be uncomfortable, give him Tylenol." I was aghast at the lack of concern. Convinced the doctor had not been told the entire story, I called back and asked to speak with her. The doctor took the call and explained, in a bored tone, that my son was fine. I tried explaining the pain he was in, but she would not be moved. She flat out refused to look at him. We got an emergency visit at another dentist. The saw the pain he was in and quickly removed the offending tooth. They also found two cavities missed at the previous appointment. Maybe they were both suddenly new? Either way, we will not return.

We have dental…read moreinsurance with 100 percent preventive coverage, and before each visit I confirmed with the front desk that our plan was active and in network. Despite that, I recently received two invoices--dated January 2026--for services performed in 2024 and 2025. These were the first and only notices I ever received. The statements show no insurance estimate, no insurance payment, and no prior balance, which strongly suggests the office either never submitted the claims or submitted them incorrectly. Preventive services should have been fully covered, and any failure to bill insurance or notify the patient for nearly two years is a provider issue, not a patient responsibility. When a dental office assures patients that insurance is in network, then sends surprise invoices years later with no explanation, it creates a serious trust and transparency problem. I hope they address the internal billing issues that led to this situation so other families don't experience the same frustration.
