I ordered flowers for my daughter n law based on the colors and the flowers I knew she would love. Once she received the flowers, she sent a picture to thank me and much to my surprise, the arrangement wasn't what l ordered. I was so disappointed, not to mention embarrassed, due to the lack of effort that went into the flowers. If I wanted a bouquet from Trader Joe's that I arranged, I would have done so, but I wanted something beautiful that would cheer her up. I ordered beautiful pastel flowers and instead paid for a lot of greens with bright flowers. I called customer service and the woman tried to make it right with more bright colored flowers. She insisted it cost more than the original bouquet, which I don't care about. I picked the arrangement based on my daughter n law's personality, not price. Very disappointed!!! read more

This has always been my go to place but today was a disappointment. Very little time and care our in the arrangement, and skimpy amount of flowers for the price , very different from my prior experiences at the florist. A great big thank you to Doris and the staff at fairfield florist. My daughters wedding was almost 2 hours away and we hesitated on using a Fairfield florist. Having said that, they were on time, and delivered arrangements to the church and reception venue that were exquisite. There have been so many comments on how beautiful the flowers were. My husband send me an I'm sorry flowers from this place and it was delivered to my place of business. When I received it the flowers were warped and some dead!!! Could not believe my eyes. My co workers were disappointed and had me call the florist. I called and they said they'll have the driver pick them up...no I'm sorry, we'll get another one delivered, NOTHING!! They are awful. Tiny shop adjacent to Subway sandwich shop. Gorgeous fresh cut flowers of all varieties. Beautiful arrangements and bouquets. Although way more expensive than supermarket flowers I typically get several weeks from the flowers I purchased here (when I change the water and cut back the ends) the fragrance also lasts. I highly recommend this florist if you want to make a good impression or spruce up your home. Last year I got the most amazing wreath for my home. Again the price tag was a splurge however, it lasted for months with proper watering money well spent. read more

We worked with Fairfield Florist for our wedding. They were able to provide bouquets, centerpieces and other flowers for a 100+ person wedding for under a $1,000. Most of the other florists in town refused to work with us at this price point, but Fairfield Florist delivered in style. The flowers were lovely, and the staff helped us figure out which flowers would look best for our ceremony and reception. read more

I have been using this florist for several years now and they have never let me down!! I've sent flower arrangements to funerals and each time thinking mine was the best arrangement! I've picked up arrangements that were pre made, had bouquets put together on spur of the moment and also ordered custom arrangements for my holiday table. All have always exceeded my expectations. They are so creative and whenever people come to my home when I have their arrangements or if I send them, people always rave about than. Shout out to Doris who can put together a beautiful bouquet on the fly on any budget. Terrible. I emailed them twice about this problem and never got a response. Sent my friend birthday flowers and she sent me a photo to thank me. The flowers they delivered were measly and sparse compared to the photo on their website of what I had ordered. And didn't include half of what the description on the website says. Don't let the exterior of this small florist located next to Subway on the Post Road fool you. Walk inside to a space filled with fresh, gorgeous blooms. I used Fairfield Florist for my daughter's wedding. The owner, Doris, and her employees are extremely nice, helpful and talented. Every arrangement was prettier than the next. Peonies were the dominant flowers, and their color and size were perfect. The church pieces were stunning in hues of raspberry, pink, white and green. The bouquets were over the top. The reception site, Brooklawn Country Club, is already so pretty, but the flowers added an elegant touch. I highly recommend Fairfield Florist. Every arrangement they design is simply spectacular. read more

Doris and the staff at Fairfield Florist were so great to work with! The flowers at my daughter's wedding were EXCEPTIONAL! Many guests came up to us later to find out who did the gorgeous flowers! The arrangements were beautiful and even larger than we expected, and all the bouquets were just so beautifully arranged, colorful and full of the blooms we asked for and loved. They all looked great throughout the wedding and again, the whole staff was a pleasure to work with. On time with the delivery and even more beautiful than we had imagined they'd be! Attended a wake at Larson Funeral Home where two arrangements were from this florist. Apparently they are not literate and/or careful enough to professionally provide an arrangement. One had a card with "Sorry for your lost." The other one had the sender's last name all lower case. I would have taken a picture but my wife was upset enough. read more

I ordered $100 worth of tulips for a wake and although the flowers were pretty it seemed like a small amount of flowers for the price. They also added more than the CT sales tax to the total. I think you can receive better value elsewhere. read more
