Ordered flowers for delivery tomorrow and paid online. Was given the option for Friday delivery with no problem. An hour and a half later I got a call telling me that my flowers were not available to be delivered to the area of my choice. When speaking to the lady on the phone I asked her why the online site allowed me to do delivery next day if they weren't able to service it. She told me that it stated it on the site when it clearly DID NOT. I told her they should have never let my order go through if she knew she doesn't deliver to certain areas. She was beyond rude and started to cut me off when I was speaking. She didn't even offer me an alternative. The customer service is HORRIBLE. Beware ordering online from them... **forgot to add that she hung up on me mid sentence. read more

What a cute little shop! It's great to support small business in EVERY town. We were visiting Bridgeport, and were in need of some roses. We used Google for flower shops in our area, and found Fruits & Flowers. When we walked in, we were instantly taken back by Lisa's clean and fully stocked store. Great selection of gifts and other fun stuff. After we told Lisa what we needed, we were greeted by Skittles, the shop kitty. She was so friendlly. Instantly coming up to us to greet us, almost like another employee! LOL All GREAT small businesses have "shop" pets. It's just comforting and inviting. I go to Lisa at Fruits and Flowers for all my flower needs. Lisa is always accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful and very responsive. But today they have gone above and beyond. I called when store opened (9AM) and ordered sympathy flowers to be delivered some time today. I happened to be on the phone with the recipient of flowers less than 2 hours later when the flowers were delivered. Just wanted to jot down a quick review about Fruits and Flowers. First, I want to say I've been buying flowers for many years for my wife and I've purchased a more then a few bouquets from here. The bouquets are ALWAYS TOP NOTCH! What you see online is nothing compared to what's delivered! It's always so much more amazing in person. The staff are all very helpful and knowledgeable. It's always made easy for me when I got there. For Mother's Day I ordered a top tier bouquet for my wife. I had them delivered on Friday, but by Monday they were a little lump and dying. Make a long story short, I emailed them and showed pictures. My email was answered first thing Monday morning and they asked where my wife would be- THEY DELIVERED A BRAND NEW BOUQUET at no charge. This is where I can tell these people genuinely care about their business and customer retention. What they did speaks volume on their business acumen. Thank you all at Fruits & Flowers for being such great understanding people. I've never complained about flowers, but when you spend that much you'd expect a little life out of them.
